Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

I have a 27 day cycle and my app suggests I ovulate on day 12. So I'm going to start opk tomorrow (day 8)

I'm only using cheap ones as day 12 for me is this weekend and partner is away tomorrow night and I'm away for a girlie weekend Friday and Saturday 😭

Wasn't going to bother with the opks but realised my app could be wrong and I could still be in with a chance if I dtd on Sunday 🤞

Hi I'm on cycle 5 now TTC number 1 and on cd10 today been using clear blue advanced last three months. I know how you feel compared to some women I know it's a relatively short time but doesn't make the negatives every month any easier but I'm just trying to stay as positive as I can at the minute.. good luck to both of you ladies 😁 x

@Michellebops yes I found the ovulation tests very useful as I was using the apps which were saying I would ovulate on the 12th day but after using the tests last month I found I ovulated much later on day 18!
@littlelisa34 no every time my heart sinks but at the beginning of each cycle I think 'right here we go again' and just hope that it'll be the month. I can not imagine what it'll feel like when we finally get a BFP!

Yeah @Izzimai20031998 they say good things come to those who wait so hopefully it's good news for us all.. and you have to be positive at the start of each cycle because i think you lose motivation if not. It will be so good to get a bfp so let's hope it's sooner rather than later 😁 the last two months on my ovulation sticks I'm going from low straight to peak which is new for me but I've stopped taking pregnacare this month because it was delaying my af so maybe that's got something to do with it, who knows.. xx

Hi! Anyone mind if I jump in? In similar boat to most I think - TTC#1, on cycle 5. AF due on Sunday and I have 31/32 day cycles and the wait just seems to go forever!!

I've done a couple of non-early detection tests (stupid I know) but the wrong ones got delivered so haven't had any FRERs😔 Of course they were both negative. I have a feeling that AF is on her way and I feel like I could honestly burst into tears! Having no real symptoms either.

@littlelisa34 oh that's interesting! I've been taking the seven seas conception tablets so I wonder if that effects anything? My partner and I are trying to BD every other day and I'm going to do an ovulation test on Saturday and keep going until after peak then fingers crossed!

@Daydreamer71 of course we don't mind you joining! The more the merrier! It's nice to hear other people are in the same situation. You seem to see that everyone is getting pregnant around you apart from yourself. I know for most there's a lot of hard work before but it never seems like it so it's nice to hear that other people are in the same situation! Fingers crossed AF isn't on its way but if it is then your just a little closer to that next cycle and the next chance!

Sorry for the late reply @Izzimai20031998 but I've done quite a bit of researching and seven seas are the best ones by all accounts.. pregnacare doesn't affect all women in the same way but for me they were definitely prolonging my cycle I've always had a pretty on the dot cycle and it was getting into a 32/33 day cycle so they just didn't work for me.
@Daydreamer71 the two week wait is horrendous but hopefully for you it turns in to a BFP... my fist couple of cycles I was testing from 4/5 dpo ridiculous I know but now I can hold off until I'm late but with the mess up with my cycle that's been pretty hard but hopefully now all will get back to normal 😁 good luck to you xx

@littlelisa34 oh that's good to hear. I did do slot of research originally but I've been taking them about 3 months now so I'm just going to continue with them as they can't do me any harm. We kind of aim for every other day but not definitely sometimes it'll be 2 days in a row then other times we may miss a couple of days working up to peak ovulation. We continue this till about 3 DPO and then it tends to be a lot less. Do you have any plan with BDing?

@Izzimai20031998 we usually bd every other day throughout my fertile window and then every day from peak up until 2dpo and then a few times a week throughout up until next af.. I've done that much research these last few months I don't know what's right or wrong.. I'm on 3 dpo now so the horrendous two week wait begins 😡 if unsuccessful this month which I hope and pray it's not but I like to be realistic with myself I'm going to look into acupuncture and Chinese remedies read up a lot on them with quite a bit of success and I think I will try anything once.. have you gotten your peak on clear blue yet?? Xx

I came off the pill middle of May and I’ve been lucky enough that so far my AF has been consistent around 29/30 day cycle.

I am CD10 today and I use just cheap ovulation sticks. Last month I got a positive CD19 but I had read that you should test twice a day which I did which I’m glad I did as I would have missed the positive result otherwise!!

@Izzimai20031998 I feel the same- it’s no where near as long as some people are having to wait but already it’s hard every single month when AF arrives!

@littlelisa34 interesting that you mention acupuncture as I have been researching it today!!! ( I am terrible with googling everything haha). From what I have seen so far it seems that you need to have been diagnosed with an issue. Is that your interpretation as well? If not I wasn’t sure what you say when arranging an appointment- like would you mention your trying to conceive as I couldn’t work out if the treatment would be different to help with fertility?

@May2311 hi I actually went down and made my appointment yesterday.. I had a 15 mi ute consultation and just explained my cycles and how long we had been trying and any supplements or remedies I had tried so far..and few other stuff and he said I had poor circulation which is not good for fertility he said in China they say cold ground no flowers blossom so basically my uterus is cold hence no implantation.. I'm not sure how much of it I'm totally convinced by but like I said I will try anything once and I have read a lot of success on it so you never know. I used the ovulation sticks first month but I just couldn't get the hang of them so that's when I moved onto the clear blue I find it much easier. You've done well to get back to normal cycle so quickly hopefully that's a good sign for you 😁xx

@littlelisa34 I git my peak yesterday on clear blue which is much earlier than last month. I only had one high fertile day this time where as last month I had about 5 so lots of BDing! I feel exactly the same at you though I highly doubt but really hope this month will the be the month! We would find out just before my OH birthday too which would be the best! The acupuncture is interesting it's something I've read about too and thought about! Hopefully you won't need it though!

@May2311 I have found clear blue really easy to use and would recommend them although they can be abit pricey. I only test in the morning with those until I get a peak reading.

I'm on cycle 3 currrently 7dpo and sooo inpatient this month.

No symptoms apart from strong cramps 5dpo.

I also used clear blue digital ovulation tests this month and found them really straight forward so that was good 😊

Can i also join.

TTC 1, day 9 of cycle, cycle 3.

@Ginfizz90 strong cramps is a good sign so fingers crossed!

How often are you all BD? I've had my peak days yesterday and today and I've BD twice each day (this is because we wanted to not for conception) but I have read that isn't good I guess we will find out!

Averaging here day 8-18 a mixture of every other day or daily.

Only have cheapy ov tests here to use. I live in a location where they aren't easily available so have only ordered cheap ones to be delivered so far.
