TTC first baby

Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

@Hewie30 oh how exciting! I'm so happy for you! How are you feeling now? I've had my first appointment and OH is waiting for an appointment for a semen analysis. I had my first blood test and waiting for AF to arrive and hoping it's here on Thursday otherwise the blood test will be invalid as it has to be exactly 7 days before AF! So will speak to the doctor and find out what's next.

@tryingforbabyone Thanks Hun! The sickness is easing now which is good. Tiredness still hits but feeling more human! That's good things are moving! What did they say? See what happens when the results come back? X

@Hewie30 oh I'm so glad now you can enjoy this precious time. Yes just to wait and see now but no tracking or ovulation tests they said to stop all that.

@tryingforbabyone Thank you 😊. We find out the gender tomorrow so it's very exciting.
I've got everything crossed for you, hopefully it's nothing! I completely agree with that, I do think that does stress us out without even realising it. I caught the month I stopped doing opks and took a more relaxed approch, hopefully that'll be the same for you 😁 x

@Hewie30 AF hasn't arrived which is annoying because I'm sure it will in the next couple if days and means the blood test will have been a waste of time! Hopefully I can be more successful next month! Did you find out the gender?! So exciting

@tryingforbabyone Oooh nooo!! Does it have to be spot on the dates? That's really hard if AF isn't regular or has a bit of a wacky cycle?! We sure did, we're having a little girl 💓 xx

@Hewie30 oh how lovely now you can begin getting all the girly dresses! No AF hasn't arrived yet and had really painful nipples but I'm sure it's on it's way. If it's not here by tomorrow then it's the longest cycle I've had but not getting my hopes up at all! X

@Hewie30 no I havnt tested yet. I don't dare to. I will on Monday if there's still no sign though!

@Hewie30 no sign yet but took a test and was negative again so I guess it back at it again next month 🙄

@tryingforbabyone Ahhhh stupid test 🙄. TTC is such a difficult testing road isn't it! Your doing all you can do, it's just the nature's time to make it happen! I hope your tests all come back okay x

@tryingforbabyone How strange! I wonder if you are pregnant but it's taking a bit of time for your HCG to rise or you ovulated later then you thought? X

Also TTC #1. Today is 13DPO is AF due Friday, been testing almost every morning and BFN.
Did a FRER this morning and also negative.
Been having all the symptoms like sore boobs - I never had sore boobs, Light spotting last 2 days, bloating.. hoping a BFP soon

@Hewie30 unfortunately I wasn't again and just super late which was strange but back in the game again and I've got 2 blood tests this month to try and catch ovulation but I'm sure that's impossible!
