TTC first baby

Hi,
I'm on cycle 5 of TTC with first child. I used clear blue advanced ovulation test for the first time last month and have purchased another one to use this month also. I'm on day 7 of this cycle and am planning on starting ovulation testing on day 12 as I ovulated on day 17 last month. I have a pretty regular 27 day cycle (no longer than 29 days).
I know it's still early days but I feel like it's never going to happen. I can't imagine actually getting a positive result. Is anyone else in a similar position and want to be on this journey with me?

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been quiet! Everything's okay after the scan with EPU they put it down to implantation bleeding and said the babies growing at the right pace. I'm 9 weeks today but I've been suffering badly with 24/7 nasuea and fatigue so I've literally been going home and sleeping so I haven't been on here for a while and been rubbish at replying to messages 🤣. How are you ladies? What's the updates for me ❤️ x

@Hewie30 good to hear from you hun have to admit was getting a tad worried about you.. sorry about the nausea Hun must be a pretty crappy time for you, although it'll definitely all be worth it. Hope you are relaxing more now and 9 weeks that's so good Hun 😁😁 I'm good in my TWW at the minute but only 3 dpo so still early on.. xx

@littlelisa34 Awh bless you hun I'm sorry to make you worry! Yeah the nasuea is pretty rubbish but your right it will 100% be worth it, I refuse to complain when I've wanted this so badly 🤣. Most definitely am relaxing more now I've had scans and told everything's okay, just looking forward to my 12 week scan now 😍. Eeeeek how exciting!! Did you catch your peak okay? Xx

Hello everyone I need your opinion before I go to the doctors and confirm and tell my family this would be our first baby is this a positive ???I've only gotten faint bfp since 11 dpo on 10 miu strip I've also taken first response and clearblue but almost nothing to a shadow it's now 19 dpo 3 days late on the af this is an acumed strip test wich I think detects 25 and below is this my first darker line or I'm just making sure I'm not crazy

@Hewie30 don't be daft hun as long as your okay and I'm really glad your relaxing more and ENJOYING it 😁😁 have you told many people yet? How's your partner dealing with it all??
I think I did but I was trying the more relaxed approach this month so didn't use opks this time around so I can't be 100% about it so it's just a awaiting game as usual lol.. would love to get some good news for Xmas but not getting my hopes up.. xx

@Batjk8484 it looks like a faint positive but can't be sure.. if your 19 dpo you would definitely show up on a frer now and they are the most accurate and easier to read.. I would try and get one of those and test with FMU. Good luck x

@Hewie30 oh I'm so glad your okay! The nausea must be terrible but hopefully that'll pass soon! I'm on my TWW but I was teaching my ovulation and never seems to get a solid smiley this month only a flashing which was weird because my cycles have been really regular so I'm guessing I'm out this month. AF is due on Monday so we will see. I did start taking pregnacare last month so I'm wondering if it's because of that so I'm going to stop that for now x

@littlelisa34 Yeah for sure just trying to relax and enjoy it! That's really good your taking the relaxed approch, it worked for me so hopefully it will do for you too 😍. A positive for Xmas will be amazing! What a pressie that will be ❤️. I've got everything crossed for you! My partner's really excited which is really sweet! Both of our families know now because his sister found out by accident we thought it would be unfair to make everyone else wait until Xmas day like we originally planned! Xx

@tryingforbabyone Hopefully babe! I'm finding it difficult to finish a meal at the moment I'm only eating half but I'm sure that'll pass soon! Oh really? How weird!! You using the clearblue ones? Have you tried the cheap ones online the one touch ones? They don't do smileys but the lines when you get a peak is obvious 😊. Pregnacare could be the reason, it definitely made my cycles longer? Xx

@Batjk8484 What dpo are you? There's definitely a line there! But I'm surprised nothings coming up on a frer. B&m do really good sensitive ones, I got a positive on them before a frer so they might be worth a go. Also my smu was stronger then my first x

@littlelisa34 I took the frer like way early maybe 12 dpo that was the last time I took it that was faint to
@Hewie30 I'm currently 19 dpo now today I took a clearblue yesterday and the evening before to see i thought i saw a line on both but i know blue dyes are notorious for evap lines

@Hewie30 yes only the clear blue ones, I haven't tried any others so maybe it has just been a longer cycle but I've given up testing now and just waiting for AF and won't continue with the pregnacare to see. Did you continue taking pregnacare whilst ttc? X

@Batjk8484 At 19dpo you should definitely be getting some good lines I'd have thought but the positive is that your seeing lines on all your tests. I'd try another frer and see if it's gotten darker on that?

@tryingforbabyone Yeah possibly!! Could be worth trying the other ones next month as you could probably test more due to them being cheaper. Nah I stopped taking the pregnacare because it sent my cycles all over the place, I've started taking them again now but didn't want to risk it when TTC. As long as your getting folate you should be okay just taking them alone xx

@tryingforbabyone Hi Hun! How's everything with you? I'm currently 11+4/11+5 I've got my 12 week scan on Xmas eve which is exciting! I've had bad morning sickness past 2 weeks I'm hoping it'll ease soon 🤞xx

@Hewie30 oh wow how exciting on Christmas Eve! Rubbish about the morning sickness though that's the one thing I'm most worried about but so worth it! I'm on 1dpo but have booked a doctors appointment for the 7th of Jan and OH will also be booking in in the new year too!

@littlelisa34 yes I'm good thank you. AF arrived yesterday so ready for my appointment on Tuesday! OH had an appointment on the 16th too so hopefully we get some answers! I was late this month which I never am so got hopeful but ofc was too good to be true. Hopefully your appointment comes round quick too! How have you been feeling?

I'm good thanks I'm 13 dpo today, took a test yesterday bfn so i think I'm out this month so just waiting for the witch to arrive which should be around the 10th/11th xx

@littlelisa34 Hey Hun! How are you? Don't give up hope until AF arrives! You might be a late BFP bloomer.

The scan went really well, peanut was kicking and moving all over the place so no wonder he or she is giving me sickness 🤣. I'm 14 weeks now so hopefully the sickness will start to ease 🤞 xx

@littlelisa34 hi, we've been to the doctors and it was very helpful! She told us to stop all tracking and ovulation and is sending me for a blood test and OH for a seman analysis. It's nice to have seen a doctor and had a bit of reassurance. I hope you are all okay x
