Anyone starting their TTC journey in July 2019?

Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

@Wearenotyourkind I think so, last night I had the tiniest spotting, it's carried on till like 3pm today but the absolute tiniest amount ever has not even touched the pad I had on. Its stopped but pretty sure af will show tonight or tomorrow, tomorrow is the latest I normally get it (day 29). I never had luck with the IC tests!

Hi guys! I hadn't noticed this thread but have been ttc since July 2019 as well! Have felt like I'm the only one amongst thousands of friends who have got pregnant within a couple of months of trying. Have been doing opks since about October and this month trying SMEP...sex every other day until positive opk then a few times in a row, or something like that. Think I should ovulate in next couple of days. Anyone doing other stuff? I have never temped or anything.

Yes I do temping and I find it super helpful, even to know that af will turn up or not etc.
It's really hard isn't it when you feel like it's only taking forever for you 🤗 I feel the same. Hopefully we will get some luck soon x

I've had my static smiley this morning...no flashing smileys this month. Slightly irritating as would have DTD during flashing smileys too. But hopefully DTD today and tomorrow and maybe Wednesday will cover it. Typical I've woken up with a cold though 🙄 the good news is, it looks like I'll ovulate 2 days earlier than last month, so even if it's another cycle of 27 days, my LP will be extended by 2 days, so that's positive.

@Wearenotyourkind that happened to me once, I didn't get flashing it just went straight to solid, defo dtd today (twice if you can 😂) and tomorrow x

I use the one step ovulation tests...I seem to get positives on those around day 14 or just before. But I ran out this morning and am on day 14 and it wasn't positive yet this morning 🙄 Going to buy CB smile face ones on way home. Am I right in thinking flashing means fertile week and static means the surge?

@Lnix yeah, everyone has different amount of days they get flashing smileys for, the longest I have is 2 days I think, then when you get a solid it stays on the machine for 48 hours I think. Do you have regular cycles?

@Wearenotyourkind thanks for asking, I was on cloud 9 yesterday having a full first day in Houston Texas but then in the early hours of this morning AF has shown her face a day earlier than expected. I guess I feel sad. The saddest I’ve felt so far in this whole thing. I feel like my Ava bracelet is just way off, we are DTD all the time and still not catching, I’m taking different vitamins and supplements, LP doesn’t seem to be getting longer. Hence it’s time for a doc app. I want to know what the hell is going on. But today I’m just gutted.
Anyway I’m chuffed for you about your longer LP, that’s great!! Get to it DTD and I’ll be crossing everything that this is your month!!! What IC OPK do you use? I’m wondering to try them.

Welcome @Lnix. Good luck with the Cb sticks. I only ever seemed to get a flashing smiley face, never went solid for me. Thinking to try IC this month, I’ve not tried them yet. Good luck for your cycle this month!!

@Ellsbells112 @Positivity2019 thanks! Yes I have regular cycles, average 26 days. Annoyingly I have got myself into a muddle with these hateful opks this month! As I said this morning I ran out of the One Steps so went to get CB digitals. They didn't have any so I just got Tesco ones. One Steps had been darkening since the weekend (but not yet positive) so I expected this tesco one would show a darkening one or positive...but it is blank apart from the control line. Totally bewildered! Husband offered to go and get me CB digitals and came back with the only thing they had - one that gives you an empty circle (no surge) or a smily face. No flashing smilies at all 😫 will give it a go but need to say up a wee!! Anyone else ever experienced discrepancy between opk brands?? I usually get a blazing positive on the One Steps mid cycle.

@Han1213 congrats! Great news! @AAJJ83 how are you feeling? Hang in there you’ll be feeling better before you know it! All going fine here won’t be long til I’m in the third trimester I wish time would slow down! Good luck to you guys who are trying.

Hi @Wakemeupwithcoffee I’m doing slightly better, still throwing up almost daily and totally wiped out by 4pm but I think it’s clearing?? I’m 11 ish weeks (have the dating scan a week today) so I keep reading I’ll have a surge of energy come week 13! I’m the opposite of you I want things to speed up and be over ASAP!!

@Positivity2019 I'm really sorry you're feeling so down. We all get to that point so I completely understand you. 🤗🍀 I really hope things change for you, for all of us. I think it's a great idea to get the ball rolling, since I have it has eased my mind so much just knowing that at least whole we are still trying I know that we are finding out of there is an issue. And if not, then hey presto we will have a baby one day, it might just take a little longer than expected, but at least you know!

@Wearenotyourkind how are you? How are your OPK’s? Which do you use? I’ve resorted to using cheap boots ones but honestly dunno if they are worth it.

Not much positive to report here. I guess the main good thing is I’ve been taking vitamins B6 and B complex and three wheatgrass tablets and I feel like my cycle is lengthening and my periods are a bit stronger. So that’s giving me some hope that my uterine lining is maybe a bit better. So with an increased LP and that I feel like maybe a BFP may be possible. Still not taken Agnus Castus or contacted doc but I will be doing the later soon. I’m on CD25 and in my past few cycles this day was the start of my AF so tomorrow I’ll be one day later than usual but certainly not late late. I’ve had a temp drop on my BBT so not hold out hope for success this month. It’s more likely my cycle is just improving length wise.

I wondered if you were still trying (those not preg) or holding off in the current circumstances? Hope you are all well and your families are well. I am self-isolating as per the guidelines. I’ve been very anxious about the birth but seem to be feeling much better now. Would love to hear how everyone is doing.

Hi all, @wakemeupwithcoffee sorry to hear you have been feeling anxious. I’ve only been going out to the park with my other children at the weekend otherwise it’s lock down for me! It’s a very strange time indeed pregnant or not! I’m almost 21 weeks, sickness has gone thank goodness, was fully gone by about 16/17 weeks I think? Still completely exhausted though, no second trimester energy here! Oh and I’ve developed SPD much earlier in this pregnancy than my last so that fun! No idea why as I’m quite small for now? How long till the birth? I had my scan last week and OH couldn’t come along. Hopefully some of the restrictions will have been lifted in time for yours. How are you doing/feeling generally? I think you’re on your 3rd pg like me if I recall? Much tougher than the previous.

Hi ladies. This just popped up as a notification on my emails. I don’t think I have been on this thread for a while now. Hope you are all keeping safe and well and enjoying the sunshine at least 😊. Some of you must be due soon? No wonder you are feeling quite anxious, I do know 2 people who have had babies very recently though and they have had good experiences, which is reassuring. I am almost 26 weeks now and feeling fine at the moment but starting to think that I should perhaps think about ordering some essentials soon. Take care everyone x

Hi! Just about getting through these strange times. The sun is helping. I’m 13 weeks now and over the initial tiredness stage. My BF couldn’t come to the 12 week scan which was disappointing but can’t fault how the hospital had things set up.

I've sort of given up any hope tbh and just waiting for corona to be over to get referred to look at my tubes. Had my partners psperm checked and all. Is well and my bloods were fine. I have a son so I know I can get pregnant or could lol so hopefully something happens soon but I just dont see it happening now...
