Anyone starting their TTC journey in July 2019?

Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

@Wearenotyourkind that sounds like an absolute plan 👌 enjoy it, you deserve it! I've had flashing smileys for 3 days, tomorrow is the day I normally ovulate so hoping to get a solid tomorrow or Tuesday (I get a solid smiley the day of my bbt rise) but we will see! We've dtd since Friday evening and will continue lol even though two people I know who have recently got a bfp only dtd once during the fertile week! If there's a next month maybe I'll try that

It just shows you doesn't it, there's only so much we're actually in control of! And it only takes one time and one strong swimmer! I'm already starting to feel a bit better after the initial disappointment, so onwards and upwards. Good luck with DTD and getting your static smiley!

@Wakemeupwithcoffee thanks for your post. I’m still feeling pretty awful, gave in and went the Drs for some medication. Not sure if it’s working as I’m still being sick but now only once or twice rather than five times. Went for the scan, thankfully it’s only one baby but they put me back a couple of days date wise so I was 9 weeks yesterday. Everything I read says it peaks this week so I’ve everything crossed after this week I’m going to start picking up. It so exhausting feeling drained and sick. I literally drag myself to work, do a less than half arsed job, drag myself home and get into bed. My OH has actually been amazing, doing everything with my girls and around the house, but I just want to feel normal again.

@Wearenotyourkind so sorry to hear AF arrived. I hope you’ve had an amazingly indulgent day, you deserve it. Are you going to keep using AC? Might see a longer cycle this month if so, I read it can take up to three months to see a difference. Good luck for this cycle Xx

I'm okay think I'm maybe 1 or 2dpo, cycle 6...already scared it won't happen again lol but such is Ttc I guess.
We dtd from Friday through to last night... Let's hope something happens x

@Ellsbells112 that’s a good effort you’ve put into this month, fingers crossed for you. I’m ok, got EWCM today and niggling pain on my lower left side so hoping that is ovulation twinges. My Flo app says ovulation day is today and my Ava app says Thursday so I recon DTD through the week and over the weekend and that will cover any and all bases. We did do it end of last week and over the weekend so really hope it’ll be our month.

@Ellsbells112 I also spend most evenings on google researching. I’ve added vitamin B6 and wheatgrass capsules to my daily vitamin intake as a result.

Currently I’m right around ovulation. Ava bracelet predicted it for yesterday but this morning it had recalculated it to today due to my BBT reading. So still at it with the baby dancing. Unfortunately I’ve been ill the last two weeks. Head cold, sinusitis and awful chest so I’m not exactly in the mood to be DTD however I’ve been doing it with a view to not wasting a precious month. However, as much as I’ve been trying my hardest not to I’ve been taking Sudafed which is extra caffeine and also ibuprofen. So I recon this won’t be our month anyway.

@Positivity2019 hopefully that doesn't have much affect on anything, I think that it will be okay. My mum drank 5 coffees a day when she got pregnant with me and my sister, along with alcohol of course...and smoking 🙁🙄 and here we are stuffing our faces with all those lovely. Vitamins. At least when we get pregnant they will have all the nutrients they need ❤️❤️ I'm. Currently 6dpo and feel absolutely nothing of course. We dtd at the right time just like every other month lol let's see if this one is any different. Good luck to you hunnie x

@Ellsbells112 you’re right of course, so many people fall pregnant who are in less than ideal situations. I agree, it’s good to know that hopefully any new little bean will have plenty vitamins and nutrients to help them on their way.
My ovulation day moved again according to my Ava bracelet so today is 1DPO. If AF comes when I’m expecting it to then that’ll only be a 9 day LP. Also got a dilemma approaching as we fly to Houston on Saturday and it is a potential Zika threat country. I’ve done the research and they’ve had no Zika births since like 2017, it’s apparently a low risk place so I’m like hmmm how do I handle this.

I’ve not been on for a while as I’ve been in the haze of sickness, horrific, but I THINK I’m coming out of it now. Not feeling amazing but better than the past few weeks.

I'm just waiting on af now, typical af signs so I know it'll be here Saturday or Sunday as had a bfn yesterday. We've been doctors and got the ball rolling, she thinks I could have scarring but wants to check my OH sperm first. We have that appointment next week so fingers crossed we get some good answers x

Thank you! First month I’ve relaxed and didn’t use OPKs or apps! Really wasn’t expecting it. Bled on Tuesday so though AF was a day early but then totally stopped. Felt weird yday so tested this morning.

I’m due AF about Tues next week. Not sure about this month at all. I’ve sore boobs, more than usual and I keep getting little niggly twinges in my lower pelvic area. But in all honesty think it’s nothing and prob be seeing AF next week.

Is anyone else using the CB advanced OPKs? I used them for the 1st time last month and got 7 days of flashing smileys from CD11 before my peak static smileys at CD18/19. This month it's different - I'm now on CD14 and still no flashing smiley. Am I overthinking it? (There is a strong chance of this 😂)

@Wearenotyourkind you could ovulate at different times in your cycle?? You might ovukate later this cycle perhaps?

Thanks for replying @Ellsbells112. I imagine you're 100% right...it's just hard not to overthink these things 😂 still nothing today CD15. I think after this cycle, I'll go back to IC OPKs as at least you can see the progress as you go and see if you're almost positive/getting darker etc. Also they are so much cheaper and I don't fancy taking out a second mortgage to afford CB! Did AF get you?

And how are you doing @Positivity2019?
