Anyone starting their TTC journey in July 2019?

Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

Glad to hear everyone ok. Baby will he here in a month. I wish I had a bit longer to let this pass but fingers crossed it won’t affect the birth. Starting to get tired now and combining work with homeschooling 2 kids is challenging to say the least but looking forward to finishing work soon so I can concentrate on the kids.

Hi @Missgoldilocks good to hear from you. I am in the same situation as last we spoke. Fertile week is just now but apart from using my Ava bracelet I’m not doing much else to track. We are nearly at the year point and I am feeling disappointed for sure and we had been thinking to make a doc app and then all this Covid-19 stuff took off. So I have decided that we will keep trying but I am relaxing with all the tracking and stress.

@Positivity2019 yeah same. My partner and I are feeling the pressure from it all and arguments are mounting over Ttc, he wants to take a break from it, it seems that's his recurring theme. Obviously I couldn't bare the thought since it doesn't make any sense just a waste of time and I will still be thinking about it constantly! Anyway, we have come to some common ground and we really did our best during the fertile week just passed, I'm 1dpo now. I have to take it easy and not talk to him about it now till either af or bfp. It's hard though, it's my birthday 3rd May and af is due then so it'll be a real downer if it comes..

Hi everyone that's still around on this thread. I can't actually believe I'm writing this but I got my BFP today. I'm still in complete shock. My LP has been only 8 days on average so I was really starting to worry about this. I was also 100% convinced AF was coming as had all the usual signs. Still early days obviously, but we are tentatively excited. Sending love to all and hang in there 💗

I was 100% convinced that AF was coming. On Friday 8DPO I had cramps, headache and felt emotional and really down, classic PMT stuff. I was fully prepared for AF to arrive on Saturday, which would have been another LP of 8 days. On Saturday 9DPO I had spotting, cramps, headache and still felt blue. I put a pad in thinking that this was AF showing her face. By the end of the day, there was nothing on the pad and only spots when wiping - also watery/stretchy/thin CM. Still no AF yesterday at 10DPO and nothing this morning, so I took a test. My first ever test as with such a short LP I've never needed to before! So I guess my spotting at 9DPO was an implantation bleed, which I really thought was a MN myth!

I've been taking Agnus Castus for about 3 months now. I was also taking EPO and vit B, but ran out of those a few weeks ago. And I got my husband on Zinc and Co-Enzyme Q-10. No idea if any of this made any difference though!

We DTD on days 17, 18, 19 - I had a positive OPK on CD18, so probably ovulated on day 19. This is the first time we've managed to DTD 3 days in a row. We've also been using pre seed since we started TTC.

I'm 34 and my husband is 39. Been together 10 years. TTC since I came off the pill in July 2019, so this was cycle #9. I was fully prepared to be making a doctor's appointment in a few months. I really just felt like it would never happen. I've had fibroids before too and two surgeries to remove those, so our TTC plans were already delayed by a few years.

Praying it sticks and gives hope to others still trying 💗

@Wearenotyourkind that's crazy, another lady I know just fell on her 9th cycle too :) this is my official 9th cycle so fingers crossed you two ladies luck rubs off on me! I got a solid smiley on Sunday morning, we dtd Thursday night, Saturday morning and then Sunday morning and Sunday evening. My cervix only rose and softened on Sunday, but my temp went up on Sunday too so hopefully we've done the best we can!! (I normally ovulate the same day as my temp rise)

@Missgoldilocks sorry to hear this is putting a strain on things for you guys. TTC is such an emotional rollercoaster as it is without also adding the stress of lockdown and a pandemic. I’ll be really keeping everything crossed you get a birthday surprise this year.
I am due AF on Saturday and I am just assuming she will come. I am way past the point of expecting a BFP even though @Wearenotyourkind had just given us a spark of hope again with her amazing news. I am on cycle 10 and it just seems never ending.

Hi guys, I hope you don't mind me jumping on the thread. I've been off my pill since August and loosely trying to conceive. In the last few months we've been more actively trying but I guess I thought it would happen quickly for some reason, I think everyone is the same when they start off. I really just wanted some advice and somewhere to come to where others are in the same boat, a bit off understanding I guess. Since coming off my pill my cycle has settled at about 39 days but my period is very light, around 2 days, so I am a bit worried that there may be an issue there but although my cycle is long, it has been fairly predictable. The other issue is the sex 😑😂 I enjoy it I'm just not an all the time type of girl and my partner works shifts, I guess during my predicted ovulation(using Flo app) I have sex maybe once or twice tops during that period. I think I need to up my game. I did use a clear blue ovulation test last month on my predicted ovulation day and it did show a solid smiley face, we had sex the following day but have just had my period so not pregnant. I did use the test a week later as I wanted to check my LH wasn't too high and giving a false reading but a week after 'ovulation' it showed a blank circle so I'm assuming that I am ovulating as predicted by my app. Anyways nice to meet you all and I hope you are all well and keeping safe during this crazy time. It's definitely making my mind go in to overdrive. Tx

@Weetee03 hey, Ttc gets the best of us all! My partner and I don't have sex a lot like that either so fertile week can be a real. Bloody strain! The best advise from taking charge of your fertility book is to have sex on the last day you have the most fertile cervical mucus as that's your most fertile day. Or I'd say just dtd every time you see the fertile mucus and that's the best you can do! X

@Weetee03 Hiya, it does feel like a never ending process split into two week intervals. Like you I thought it might happen quickly and was all gung-ho. But now it’s much more a chore the whole thing.
I feel like I have tried to have sex in differing amounts every month that we’ve been trying. Now we do it when we feel like it with a little more emphasis on the fertile days. However, I am due AF on Saturday and if she comes then next cycle I think we will try DTD at the fertile time more rather than less. See if that makes a diff. Try twice in a day. We are in a lockdown after all, DP can have a wee nap kid day 😂

I am ok? Due AF on Saturday am I am sure it will come, however I do feel odd today. Sore boobs, heavy in my stomach with some niggly cramps. Headache and feel drained today. Soooo maybe I’ll get lucky this month.

@Positivity2019 ohhh I'm rooting for you! I hope it's your lucky month 😍😘🙏 that all sounds really positive so fingers crossed! I don't feel hopeful, I know we did it at the right time but we've done that every month so it's like... What can change? Lol if I start getting pregnancy symptoms I'll be hopeful but I got to wait at least a week for anything like that...
I hope it happens soon though because its just too much stress on our relationship

You’ve hit the nail on the head there. We do the thing right every month but it’s always a disappointing end. I do have absolute faith one month will be our month and I keep thinking that every negative month must be taking us a step closer to our positive month.
I am sorry it is taking its toll on your relationship but it seems like you guys have come to a good compromise and you know you can chat and vent and symptom spot on here and we will listen. We are all in this together.
Thanks for you luck. I have a little excitement creeping in but I am trying to stay sensible, i have been devastated the past two months when AF came.

@Missgoldilocks so niggling cramps all day today. Feel very period like so I think I am out. Prob come on some time today or tomorrow. Boobs not so sore. Temp actually went up last night when I was expecting the drop. But I am certain this cycle is coming to an end. Hope you’re fine. X
