Anyone starting their TTC journey in July 2019?

Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

@aajj83 I used first response the most sensitive. I feel so stupid that I thought I would conceive straight away. I conceived literally straight away before so I just thought naturally it would happen again. Otherwise i would have tried from last year! Lol blurgh
Hold out definitely because the bfn is just such a killer

@AAJJ83 I literally find getting a BFN so devastating that I don’t test at all until AF is late, hence why I’ve not had to test since my first cycle. Fingers crossed for you if you decide to test though. I would agree with the making up symptoms comment, it’s so frustrating that pregnancy and AF symptoms are so bloody similar.

@Ellsbells112 don’t feel stupid, it’s great to go into this whole thing with the positive attitude that it will happen quickly. Even though it isn’t happening as quickly as you would like just think about that amazing moment you’ll have when it’s a BFP and it’ll all have been worth it. I’m sorry you’ve had a BFN but don’t count yourself out until AF is here.

@Positivity2019 @Ellsbells112 I’m out this month, just used a CB early response test BFN so af will be here tomorrow. That’s my run of conceiving second month over 🙈 can’t believe how obsessive this whole thing is! Good luck girls!

Feeling a bit dejected. Had more ovarian cysts and 2 rounds of 8 day periods. Thinking things might not be right! Also gag absolutely no positive on ovulation strips at all since the start of all this c

@Han1213 sorry to hear what you are going through, have you seen your GP?? What OPK have you been using? I’ve used CB ones but I think they take at least a month to get ‘used’ to your hormone levels? @Ellsbells112 how are you doing? No af yet so 1 day late but feel so badly like I’m going to come on. My cycles are usually 29 days but I have had the odd 33/34 day so I think it’s just a random longer cycle. Pure torture!

@AAJJ83 hey there! Yes indeed so mine just came!! I'm just super happy that its here fi ally so I can plan for the month ahead. I have bought the CB opks I'll start from cd11 as now I have come on 2 days late my app has had a melt down with days etc so best figure out when I'm ovulating!
You never know, some people say they feel like they are coming on and they're pregnant;) xx

@Han1213 I’m sorry to hear about what’s going on with you. I’m not having much luck with ovulation sticks either really, finding them quite inconsistent. Is that your main way of tracking?
@Ellsbells112 sorry to hear about AF but like you say it’s good to be able to move onto a new cycle.
I’ve been using the clear blue advanced ovulation sticks and I’ve had flashing smileys for the past 11 or so days. I’ve only got one stick left and then I plan to call it quits this cycle and start a new box next month. Tomorrow is CD18 which is when my AF came on last month so I am hoping and praying it doesn’t come again and I get a normal cycle this month. I do keep getting a pain, dull ache in my lower abdomen, always on the same side. Feels almost like constipation pain. Never had it before except last month and now right now in this cycle. Last month was the first time I had a strange 18 day cycle. Anyway still figuring things out, keeping a detailed log of everything which I can take to a doc app and trying to stay positive of course.

I’m just using a cheap job lot from amazon. Should really look into better ones and to be fair, I’m not consistent enough in using them. I’m going to give it until the new year to see a GP and try the impossible of being a bit more relaxed about it all! You never know!

I had another positive OPK this month. And a bit earlier this time, on CD18, so I'm pleased about that. Currently 2DPO now and desperately trying to ignore the TWW...not even sure that's really possible though!

I’ve made it to CD 26, AF due Saturday so test day potentially sat or Sunday. No symptoms and BBT temp went down yesterday and today so no got much hope for this month.

Hi all. Sorry to hear no one is having any luck ☹️ So relieved to have it all out in the open now! Work kids family friends. Kids are super excited. 😁 midwife app next week looking forward to hearing the heartbeat. Still not feeling great, struggling with nausea, and tiredness. Sleeping poorly sometimes. I seem to wake in the night for a while or I’m awake and up from 5am sometimes! Hoping this all improves as I get further into the second trimester! Got quite a bump now. Seem to be coping without any maternity clothes yet. Only thing I’ve bought are maternity bras. Not sure how I’m sure I was in them by 12 weeks with my first! Really hope you all get some good news in the new year if not before!

AF arrived this morning, what a bloody cow bag. Praying for an Xmas miracle now. Hope you’re all fine,

@Positivity2019 damn I'm sorry af come for gods sake! It's so annoying! I'm starting to think it will never happen. I either ovulated yesterday or I will today. Got a solid smiley yesterday on opk (didn't get flasheys just went from blank for 4 days to solid) I think I'll class myself as 1dpo from tomorrow. Really hoping for some luck this month and I'll be in Australia from the 11th so obviously my cycles will mess up next month if I'm not pregnant 😩

@Positivity2019 Sorry to hear AF got you. Keep your chin up and look ahead to the new cycle. I know it can be easier said than done though. It's bloody rubbish sometimes 

@Ellsbells112 Australia! How exciting! I'm so jealous! I'm doing okay thank you. I'm 7DPO today. Each of my 3 apps has a different predicted date for AF, so not quite sure when it's due. Trying to keep my mind occupied!

Good to hear from you guys, I’m keeping up the positivity as best I can. Trying to push on with the mantra that I’m well within the normal time frame for conception so just keep doing what we are going. I’ve cut out caffeine and sugar in my tea and I’ve started a simple work out and yoga programme to try and shift some weight and relax. Af should be done tomorrow and then it’s OPK from thurs.

I’m on day 4 of flashy smiley faces on the CB OPKs, according to the Ovia app (anyone use that?) I think I’m due to ovulate tomorrow?
This thread is now so long I can’t recall how long we’ve all been ttc?! Fingers crossed for some lovely xmas gifts for us all x

@AAJJ83 hey! I use ovia app it's pretty good but your ovulation day will change depending on info you put into the app. Tomorrow hopefully you'll get a solid smiley face and you can enter that info on the app it will update because once it's a solid smiley you'll ovulate in 24-36 hours.
I got my solid smiley on Sunday and we dtd from Saturday to last night. I'm pretty sure I ovulated somewhere on Monday as I didn't get anymore ewcm or pains that day.
Yes I really hope we get some good news! Fx for us all. I'll be on an island with OH when af is due so I'll be so upset if it comes right on time 😢

I've been using Ovia and Flo for tracking and then Premom for uploading OPKS. I'm CD27 today and 8DPO. Trying desperately not to symptom spot, but have had a few v mild cramps today so feel AF may be on the way.

Yep I'm out. AF showed up this morning at CD28. 10 day LP this month, so slightly better than last month. Hoping I ovulate earlier again next month. Fingers crossed someone else has more luck this month! And onto the next cycle for me...

@Wearenotyourkind damn I'm sorry!! Argh it's soul wrenching... What are you doing to lengthen your LP? Are you using vitex/agnus castus

@Ellsbells112 hope you have more luck than me this month! Does anyone have any experience of using vitex or agnus castus to try and lengthen LP? I'm hoping it's still just my body getting used to natural cycles after being on the pill for so long (18 years). And I've only been off the pill since July. Hope everyone else is doing okay.

@Wearenotyourkind I don't have experience but I bought it lol haven't used it but wanted to for pms and to balance my hormones, I'm scared though as it does lengthen your cycle I don't want to mess mine up. I say do it, but you could alway stalk to a doc prior

Morning all! So I got my static smiley face this morning on the CB OPK just wondering do I enter on Ovia ovulation today or tomorrow? Needless to say we’ll be DTD today and tomorrow, blooming hard work this ttc! Hope all is good with everyone else x
