Anyone starting their TTC journey in July 2019?

Anyone in the same boat? I'm 33 and from next week DH and I will be actively trying for #1. I'm excited, nervous, trying to be chill about it all but also imagining myself with a bump celebrating Xmas this year

I started taking SS 'trying for a baby' supplements 4 weeks ago, not sure if it was their effects or not but this month my cycle was 20 days. Otherwise i'm 27 days always. Anyways, let's see what happens.

I'm still not on 6 days late, weird achy feelings and I had bad heartburn last night but this morning on clear blue BFN. Now I'm going to wait till the weekend and take a first response, can't help but feel super down and completely baffled though. I know this has happened in the past to myself but I guess before I had way more firm symptoms than this time to keep me ticking over, I feel uncertain... Argh fingers crossed! My partner probably thinks I'm crazy lol

I did a test this morning which was negative. Plus I think my period has started now but it’s very light. I think this happened last month too as I remember I said I’d had a 9 day period - this was because it took ages to get going! Definitely blaming the vits. Pleased to know instead of all the back and forth stress!

Today my symptoms have got worse, I felt like I would vomit for an hour or so and I have this massive feeling of pressure in my womb still no AF. a little pale yellow discharge though... Still going to wait for Saturday to test but I'd say I'm feeling pretty positive now x

I dont really know that much about periods tbh. I know they come and their shit then they go again. My AF is gone already, very light spotting sunday night. Full flow all day monday, light spotting this morning, completely gone by this afternoon. Its normally at least five days. I've always had a clockwork cycle now I'm ttc its playing silly buggers.

I’m out for this month AF arrived yesterday was a 35 day cycle after a 24 day cycle last time so just glad I can move on to cycle 3 now! Think I might invest in some conceive plus as having cycles of different lengths even with opks I have no idea when I’m ovulating didn’t get any positives last time so must be testing at the wrong time? Started from CD10 with midday tests and sometimes testing twice a day when possible

Having now had my first period since coming off the pill, I have been able to put something into the apps to start tracking. So if that period will be the norm (but who knows), then I'm on CD10 and ovulating in a few days.

According to Ovia my most fertile days next time will be when we’re away for the weekend at peoples houses sharing rooms with the kids etc so that is not ideal :-( will just have to do our best!

@Harty89 it must be quite frustrating not being able to nail things down within your cycle. Onto the next cycle though and you never know the next long cycle might be because of a BFP!!

@Wakemeupwithcoffee not until about a day before AF arrived I’ve had long cycles in the past they are so frustrating ! It’s so annoying when plans land around your FW have to carry on but it can become such an all consuming process hard to not let it interrupt life!

We’re not ready to tell our f&f that we are ttc I don’t think I could handle the pressure from parents ! But it makes it so much easier to have people to come and talk to and share how things are going (or not going!)

Hello everyone, been following this thread all week but this is the only spare minute I’ve had to check in with everyone! Sorry to hear about the AF arriving for some members, wishing you all the good luck for next month. I’ve had a bit of an odd week, I’ve been expecting AF but no sign. If there’s no show by tomorrow night DH and I are doing a test! I wouldn’t test this soon (it’ll be CD27 for me) but we’re going on a mini break with friends for Bank Holiday and feel we would like to know either way – especially as there will be lots of booze involved!

I have no idea how I feel, I’ve never even purchased a pregnancy test before and I’m still holding off on doing so until tomorrow evening incase AF shows and I feel silly and maybe it’s just my cycle going back to its longer self, perhaps as I’ve started taking vitamin B6 although this has only been for the last 2 weeks. However for the last 2 days each time there’s been no sign of AF I can’t help but imagine something has happened/is happening! At the same time though I’ve had zero symptoms. I’ve told myself if its positive then obviously this is such happy news, if its negative then at least I’m not getting myself anxious about having yet another 20 day cycle.

Positive! Shocked is an understatement! Didn’t get round to doing it till 11pm last night then had to leave the house at 7am to get on the road for our weekend away! DH & I have just turned into bed. Hiding the me not drinking all day and all evening within a group of 10 was mega tough. I’ll report back with more detail next week! Fingers x everything going well for us - thanks for your good luck wishes guys.
