Conception and ovulation straight after chemical pregnancy

Hi all,
New to this board ☺️
I’m 32 and myself and DH are trying for number 2 (we have an almost 3YO DD). We just had a chemical pregnancy - AF was due May 18th, already faint pregnancy test lines got fainter on May 19th and disappeared completely on 20th. Started bleeding May 20th and now on a very heavy AF.

We are emotionally ready to just got for it again, my question is have any of you positive experience of getting right after an early Chemical pregnancy and if so did you find you ovulated earlier/later.

For example, I ovulate exactly 14 days after my period starts. As my period was technically 3 days late, do I assume I will just ovulate 14 days after this bleed started? Or do I count 14 days after period was actually due?

I'm completely with you I've got my second now but am so worried it's going to happen again I'm testing every day but 🤞🏻it's looking ok

Decided to do an ic this afternoon and it's completely negative very confused and hoping it was faulty 😩🙈

@Abi58 very strange, you have got so many positives it seems unusual it would be completely white. Sounds like it could be a faulty test if as it’s ic. Fingers crossed for you it is.
Yeah I have another cheapy test, think I will try tomorrow with FMU & hopefully able to put my mind at rest. I was just ready to start again this month but this has given me a tiny glimmer of hope which isn’t great as so sure Il be disappointed.

@MountAbora I feel like my eye is being drawn to something, but I can't see enough to be sure... how odd that your DH is the one symptom spotting you though - it's usually the other way round! Try again in the morning maybe and see what's there

@Abi58 that must be a faulty test, you've had so many positives and some strong lines so I'd just ignore that one and continue what seems to be a seventy test a day habit! In fact, perhaps that ic is from the same faulty batch that is giving me bfns every day.... I wish.

10dpo here, what feels like zero symptoms and had some spotting this morning which was more like the spotting I get before AF than what I had last month with my bfp so I think I'm out. Should find out either tomorrow or Saturday as that's when I expect af to arrive.

@MountAbora did my daily frer and another ic I must've had a dud. Wasn't a huge progress like they have been so far but I don't know what good progression looks like 🙈
Just happy they aren't lighter!

@satsumasaturday did appear to be faulty but did give me a fright! Haha I'm at 2 a day (3 today but I learnt my lesson 😂)

I'm wary of that new batch though so when I use the next one I'll do an old and new just to check it was 1 faulty or all faulty.

I thought I was out with no symptoms you're not out til af comes 🤞🏻

@Abi58 Great! I thought it would be okay with all the positives you have had but still good to have that reassurance. So pleased for you!

@satsumasaturday sometimes people get BFPs without any symptoms so your not out yet. Fingers crossed for you.

So I’m pretty sure the lines are just evaps. I can still a whisp of a line, but have some ic’s on order anyway so will try one of those when they arrive just to put my mind at rest.
Flo says it’s my fertile week next week so I’ll keep myself busy with that & hope for next cycle.

@MountAbora I'm just paranoid tbh, but it's making me feel better seeing it's still there 😂 af isn't due til tomorrow hence still panicking she's just going to show up later. I think I'll feel a lot better mid week next week if she hasn't shown and it's been a good few days 🤞🏻

I can see a line, can you tell if it has colour? Are these the Asda ones? I think Asda's are not well liked. Do you have an frer you can try? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yeah they are Asda ones & Iv read about the evap lines with them. Don’t think last nights had colour but todays might have a tiny bit. I really don’t want to waste a frer when I think I’m going crazy so will try a different cheap test & if that’s still inconclusive will resort to a frer!! Honestly this ttc stuff has me going mad!! 😆

@MountAbora yeah I'm definitely going overboard with the testing 😂 I'm like a woman possessed 😂 buttttt when I see those lines I relax for the day of I didn't i know I'd be worrying 🙈

I did one the day before I got my line on frer and had a faint line almost like a shadow and with the reviews wrote it off, not sure if it was or picked something up but keeping everything crossed for you! What other tests do you have?

Ah ok, I’m not very hopeful but will try a another tonight. I have boots ones, Clearblue & frer & hopefully ic in the post today! So have a few to choose from 😆

I found frer is the most sensitive and for some reason I've been getting strongest lines about 8-9pm after a hold and not drinking much 🤞🏻 for you and keep us updated :)

Hi ladies just checking in, glad the weekend is here - a full week after three weeks off has been tough! It's kept me distracted though at least 🙂

So I'm 10/11dpo now so AF due either today or tomorrow. Had a bit more spotting earlier this morning so I'm pretty sure af is on its way. I'm still Constantly doing ICs but there's nothing there. Saying that last month when I got my bfp it didn't come until 12dpo with what was possibly an "unidentified mark" 11dpo. So I know I can't rule myself out until af arrives.

Keep getting little pains in my boobs today but I think I'm just noticing them because I'm thinking of them. Apart from that I feel totally normal (but again I did last month too).

Oh @satsumasaturday I can imagine it’s tough going back after that time off!! At least being backs hopefully helped distracted you a bit from the tww! Fingers crossed for you, as you said your definitely not out yet!! Keep us posted!

I did a Boots test this evening (I’m too stingy to use a frer when it’s so unlikely !) and got no hint of a line so think it must have been evaps.
Disappointing but expected & I have a good friends 30th this weekend so the small silver lining is I can have a couple of Proseccos 👍 and next week get down to it

@MountAbora yes it's definitely meant the TWW has gone quicker.

Sorry that the boots test hasn't given you a line - at least you're a few days closer to your fertile time now so not too long to wait to try again.

My temperature dropped below my cover line this morning and another blank ic so I'm expecting af to arrive today. I'm thinking I might try soy isoflavones next month to try to bring my ovulation forward a bit, I was going to try them the month after my bfp but then didn't cos of the bfp

Just took a look at the ic I did having just tossed it on the side and there seems to be a hint of something. My eyes have gone funny staring at it now but I reckon I might be seeing a shadow.

Probably wishful thinking, or an actual shadow. I've got no wee left now so maybe I'll try later with a frer if af doesn't show.

This month and last month I got a hint on an ic before I got my bfp. It was literally caught my eye then vanished then could only see when shone a torch behind it but was the perfect line. Both months before nothing. Stark white. So I'm thinking that for me it was maybe the start of something. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Is the name of the thread there's a pic there it didn't photograph well but it was a shadow! Blanks all again after chemical then got a shadow for 2 days then bfp on frer so 🤞🏻 it's a sign for you too!
If they are usually stark white for you it could be super early detection!

I've attached the photo i took before I left the house but I can't see anything on it. I'm pretty sure I was wishful thinking, especially as I know that it was at 11dpo that I kept checking my ic even though I couldn't really see anything and then got a bfp the next day. I put it though the light box on fertility friend and it didn't show anything.

Fingers crossed though, I can remain optimistic until af arrives 😊

Also @Abi58 how do you manage to shine a torch behind them? Whenever I've attempted this I've just ended up getting so much light in my eyes I can't see anything anymore 😂

@satsumasaturday I use my phone torch and sort of hold it at an angle so the light shines through but not in my eyes 😂🙈

Did anyone else on here have pregnancy symptoms when they had their chemical? I think I definitely did but I also could have been jet lagged (I was mostly exhausted!) - trying to compare how I'm feeling this month to last month.

@Larrydavid I didn't have any symptoms last month - I distinctly remember being quite surprised by my bfp. I was knackered a couple of days after my bfp but then I had had a super busy work trip so wasn't sure if that was a symptom or I was just exhausted! How are you feeling? How many DPO are you now?

Very jealous of what amazing weather you had at Glastonbury! When I went it chucked it down for the first two days Constantly and then turned into some sort of bog once it's started drying out!

I've managed to resist retesting until today, so just over 48 hours later... the line looks good, I'm now just constantly looking at it against my BFPs lines from last month to compare them in the hope this one sticks

@Larrydavid hope you had an amazing time! I actually felt more pregnant last month with my chemical. This month I was certain I was out as I wasn't as tired and my nipples weren't sore but I was 😁🤞🏻

@satsumasaturday that's a great line, everything crossed for you! The weather was amazing - so fun when it's hot because you can run from band to band - that's probably half the reason I'm exhausted. I think I might be 5/7dpo. I have some aches and twinges down the side I ov from and I'm tired.

Not totally sure what day I ov. I was using clear blue opk and I got a static - so assumed I had ov sometime a day or two later but then I think had EWCM about 3 days later - anyone else had that? Maybe the opk was wrong? Very confused.
