Is everyone ok ?

hmmm123 · 16/07/2019 16:28

I know we've all gone quiet!

I'm ok thanks. Cd28 no sign of AF yet but feeling some symptoms. Last cycle was 30 days so 2 more days to wait

How is everyone else?

Cleozeta · 16/07/2019 16:48

I'm ok, ploughing on!
Had a crap ovulation this cycle, ewcm on cd11, +opk cd13 then no temp rise until cd17. Just seems to be getting slower and slower. But grateful to still be ovulating so can't complain.
Everyone else ok? Super quiet over the last few days!

Hmmm - good luck!

rubyroot · 16/07/2019 17:14

Hi all. Had awful pains on left hand side so investigated for possible ectopic today. Currently inconclusive. I'm currently around 4.5 although it's anyone's guess as no period after Chem pregnancy and I had run out of ovulation tests

KristieP2018 · 16/07/2019 17:27

I was wondering if everyone disappeared lol. Still here, still not ovulating. Trying to stay hopeful that my body hasn't given up on me.

SparrowSG · 16/07/2019 17:46

I think that's the longest this thread has gone without a post for months!

Sorry about your crap ovulation Cleo, have you thought anymore about IVF/DE?

Are you going back for more tests Ruby? Hope it doesn't turn out to be an ectopic.

Fingers crossed for you Hmmm

Great news Russkispy, I hope this one is lucky for you.

I have been in touch with my Dr in Athens and will be going for one final round of IVF in October. Have to have one last try, especially as I am loading myself up daily with all the supplements, you never know, it might make a difference.
Will stay out there for two weeks and take it as a holiday, at least then if it doesn't work out we would have had some nice family time on the beach (inbetween all the injections and scans! Smile)

Hope everyone else is ok.

I accept full responsibility for the thread temporarily stopping. I was the last to post before the quietness. I am a bit of a thread ender I have to say!

So waiting to hear hcg and then I think they'll ask me to do another. Though I'm supposed to be going away on hols. So they saw what they thought was a normal luteal cyst on ovary (but can't be sure it's not eptopic) and a tiny speck in uterus which could be the start of a pregnancy so concluded that it was pregnancy of unknown location.

The sonographer couldn't explain my weird pains but she did say that usually you wouldn't get pain from ectopic until about 7 weeks

EC22 · 16/07/2019 18:00

I had a scan today due to spotting which had turned to bleeding. Scan was inconclusive. Bloods were taken, Ive to go back on Thursday but I can just tell the pregnancy is failing.
I have done a lot of crying but coming to terms with it, I don’t think I will try again.

Chatbash72 · 16/07/2019 18:06

Ooh ladies sending lots of love to you all and keeping fingers crossed for you all..
I have brain ache my 20 year old was back at the weekend and it was awful, has had dreadful ramifications for the family.. but we powered through and still managed to dtd a few times.. a story to save for her older age... "that dreadful weekend we conceived your younger sibling" power of positive thinking..

anywho it's a full moon tonight so my crystals are going to need a recharge..
lots of love and positivity thrown out to you all 💕💕💕

Elles1980 · 16/07/2019 20:35

IV just lost the plot, one minute I think I'm having symptoms and the next I'm upset coz I don't have any lol! I'm not due af till a week today but I ovulated on the 6th and 7th (I peaked on my cbfm), today especially IV had more thicker white cm though so I think I read somewhere that that's a sign of af coming Confused? Aww ladies I hope your pregnancies are ok at your next checks. sparrow sounds like a win win plan you have going on there, And chatbash your messages make me laugh. I think we have the same sense of humour lol! Hugs to all of you ladies xx

Russkispy · 16/07/2019 21:26

@SparrowSG good to hear from you. Was wondering how you were getting on. Guess your first IVF didn't work. Have you got any Frosties left? Or you'll have to start all over again!? Short or long protocol?
I'm still here, around 5w3d and still no symptoms. Booked an early scan end of July, a couple of days before our 4th wedding anniversary. 🙏🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

karryk · 16/07/2019 22:00

I've been lurking quietly 🙂

Sending lots of love @EC22 ❤️❤️

And fingers crossed for @rubyroot and @Russkispy 🤞🏼✨🙏🏼 I didn't get any symptoms until after week 6 xxx

rubyroot · 16/07/2019 22:26

@EC22 I'm really sorry to hear that. Hoping for a miracle for you. I've heard of people who have bled and had inconclusive scans and it been okay.

I know you might feel like giving up. I certainly did after my tfmr on 2018. Just give it time x.

@russkispy hope you're coping okay. I had sore breasts which went away and came back. They're my only symptoms presently. Apart from this god awful pain in my side which I now need pain killers for.

I'm starting to wonder if it's pooh related. One can only hope!

Russkispy · 16/07/2019 22:36

@karryk thank you!
@rubyroot all my pregnancies were results of fertility treatments and I was always "drugged" up from before and after procedure and I always had some symptoms as a result. This time is natural pregnancy and so different and new to me. Just hoping all is going well.

Constance1234 · 16/07/2019 22:41

@EC22 sorry to hear things aren’t going well. Hope you are feelong as ok as you can be x

Hope everyone’s start to the week has been ok. I’m still stuck in limbo waiting for my period to return after the erpc three weeks ago. I’ve been testing with opks and got positive tests for around 10, so I don’t think my body is back to normal yet :(

Constance1234 · 16/07/2019 22:42

*10 days that should have said!

hmmm123 · 17/07/2019 07:47

Sending hugs @EC22

Well I'm out AF has arrived! I really think we gave it our best shot this month so I think either DH's swimmers are a bit decrepit or my eggs are past their sell buy date ☹️ we both said if it didn't happen naturally we would give up and be grateful for what we have.

I think we will give it until the end of the summer though!

Good luck to everyone else

Elles1980 · 17/07/2019 21:05

@hmmm123 so sorry Hun, I'm not due af till 23/7 but no symptoms at all, the cramping and spitting all stopped last week. Had some cm yesterday but that's also gone now and I think I'm just a bit mental waiting to feel things happening .! A lady on another thread said I could test tomorrow but I'm not sure if I have the balls lol! Xxx

KCM99 · 17/07/2019 22:59

Hi ladies, found this thread earlier today and have been reading through but have yet to get to the end. Didn't want to lose the thread so just a quick hello for now and I'll post properly tomorrow.

Me: 43, DH 42 (soonish)
Two children 8 & 5
DH didn't want another until recently.
4th cycle ttc
Cycle 1 - cp @ 5 weeks
Cycle 2 - cp @ 4 weeks
Cycle 3 - mc @ 6 weeks with D&C

Russkispy · 17/07/2019 23:08

@hmmm123 sorry about AF 😞 onwards and upwards and even if it's just till the end of the summer
@KCM99 welcome to the group of very nice and supportive ladies Smile

Catclock · 18/07/2019 02:50

Hello again ladies, yes I've just been floating around too. It that post ovulation day, waiting for af limbo land. Don't even think I did ovulate in all honesty. I'm defo not on the ball with this. I'm also feeling decrepit @hmmm123 and as it's 3am so also feeling the mid night baby panic.

Sending positivity @EC22 xx

And @Elles1980 fingers crossed. X

Elles1980 · 18/07/2019 07:05

Good morning ladies, my test was negative. I went to the bathroom at 3am and had super light spotting but it seems to have gone again this morning so I have literally no idea what's going on with me lol?! IV resigned to the fact it won't happen this month and I'm actually ok with that Smile, will however keep you posted on my journey and hope it's ok to hang about and see how everyone else is doing, big hugs to you all SmileFlowers

EC22 · 18/07/2019 08:45

Sorry if this is TMI but I passed a huge bit of tissue, felt like I was delivering a placenta, about 7 inchx4inch. I’ve never had a miscarriage but I assumed at 5 weeks it’d just be like a heavy period. I got such a fright and was absolutely distraught, my husband had to come home from work. I have rpt bloods at 3pm so will show midwife photo but I now wonder if I was possibly further on.

Sorry to bring a downer to the thread. Just need a virtual hug xxx

KCM99 · 18/07/2019 08:57

Read the thread for hours yesterday and so glad I found you girls. I posted on the August bus with my 'protocol' and someone commented they'd never seen such a long list! I was like "really?" So now I guess I've found the proper thread for me as you ladies are pretty much doing what I'm doing - hitting this ttc seriously with lots of research.

I wasn't even ttc until 3.5 months ago and since then my life has been consumed by pregnancy-trying to get pg-waiting to see if I am pg-waiting to try and get pregnant-cp's-mc's-doctors&hospital visits.

My DH didn't want another baby after our 5 year old. That is our only child within this marriage. I have another 8 year old from a previous abusive relationship. Had to leave that pretty sharpish after son was born.

Then met my DH and fell pg accidentally at 38. Son born with congenital disabilities (sweetest child ever!), but scared the heck out of us both. I got serious pnd for 2 years. Marriage nearly fell apart etc

Our son is 5 now, he's adorable and our marriage is stronger than ever now after a lot of soul searching, finding God, and we are ready to try and bring another miracle into this world.

Haven't had an easy run of it but able to conceive - not sure if sticking power is just poor quality eggs or if there's a womb lining thing and hormonal thing going on too. Got referred to RMC after last loss. Seeing them in August.

So in addition to healthy eating, getting good vitamins, minerals, etc I also have started this 'protocol' recently:

CoQ10 600mg
Vit D3 1000iu
Vit C 4000mg
Pregnenolone 50mg
Nicotinomide B3 (non flush) 500mg
Baby Aspirin
Iron tablets from GP (low after recent D&C)
Iodine
Cough medicine (non drowsy)
Folic acid 5mg
Melatonin 2mg
1/2 glass pomegranate juice up to ovulation
Grapefruit (canned) some days leading up to ovulation
Preseed
Soft cups
More green tea
I don't drink, smoke, can't eat chocolate (due to medical condition)! Bummer.
1 cup instant coffee per day

I run around all day after my two children and feel completely exhausted all the time. The idea of stress free and reflexology sounds wonderful and I'd like that in my life.

My GP told me the antidepressants I was on were toxic to animals so I had to do a super fast taper when last pg. I'm glad she told me this as they might have been causing the losses. Who knows? We shall see now I'm off them if there's any difference.

After my last loss, had to have an emergency D&C, suspected partial molar (waiting on pathology). I personally don't think so (just think my womb was seriously messed up and needed a good clear out). The ultrasound showed an absolute mess in there. Bulky womb, weird lining.

One more thing I'll add is about other people reactions. My mum is warning me not to get pg, others are surprised when I tell them my age and ttc, nurses at EPU and RMC see this all the time and one said, so long as you are in it for the long haul and prepared for the losses, there's a good chance you'll have another baby. I overheard a 30 year old saying she was too old for another, I almost spat out my drink! I didn't have my first til 35! Next one at 38 and hopefully 3rd at 44. Imagine thinking 30 is too old! My goodness, even my grandmother 50 years ago had her last at 42 and that was way before all the help we can get these days.

Thanks for reading 💕

Me: 43 DH: 41 (married 5 years)
Cycle 4: waiting this one out til get all clear from pathology
Cycle 3: suspected partial molar & emergency D&C at 6 weeks 2
Cycle 2: cp at 4 weeks
Cycle 1: cp at 5 weeks.

MaryShelley1818 · 18/07/2019 09:01

EC22 that’s so awful, I’m sorry you’re going through this ((hugs))

I’ve been really down since my CP last month. We’ve been away this month and really gave it our best shot, loads of sex, used preseed, both taking supplements. Got a negative test this morning and spotting. I’ve sat and cried all morning. Then I feel terrible because I’ve got my beautiful little boy and should just be grateful. And I am but I really didn’t want a sibling for him.

I’ve done really well at work though and have been successful in getting a great training opportunity so will be starting a new Degree in September. That will keep me busy for the next 3yrs.
