Hi @rubyroot
I've had 5 pregnancies - two miscarriages then one successful and another miscarriage last year. I'm now in the early stages of pregnancy 5. I'll be 42 this weekend (!)
I think part of it is a numbers game (I.e. Keep trying) but it's up to the individual how much they think they can put themselves through and this will be different for everyone. I met a lady around the same age as me who had 11 miscarriages before having her daughter. Personally I don't think I could do that, just not strong enough. Where you draw the line is really up to you and you'll know yourself the best. I've been doing 5 elements acupuncture, taking ubiquinol, folate (instead of folic acid) and also did fertility massage this last cycle as well as take a probiotic supplement for a few months beforehand. I think even the slightest thing might help but that's just me
I'm a firm believer in trusting my body and that it is capable of carrying a pregnancy - whether I stop trying before it has a chance to prove me right is another thing and one (if I get to it) I will try my best not to beat myself up over.
I'm rambling now (!) but just to reiterate, it's such a personal decision and you'll know in your heart if you want to try again - listen to that voice xx
