Hello!
I know there are a few threads on this already but can’t find any recent ones.
There’s a theory that your resting heart rate goes up before you can get a bfp so a sudden spike/increase could be indicative of an upcoming bfp.
I’ve been tracking mine for months and have noticed that both times I was pregnant (both unsuccessful) this was true re heart rate.

For reference, it seems that a lot of people have a dip before ovulation followed by a spike around ovulation then it drops a bit and starts to climb a little, dropping again when af arrives. If it keeps climbing, it’s usually a good sign.

I think I’m out this month as mine is dropping steadily but I’ve had a weird cycle and am
Not sure I ovulated because I got multiple
Positive opks spread out over two weeks and didn’t see a heart rate spike as usual. I apparently ovulated around 23-27 (big window due to confusing tests) and AF is due in 4 days so I would normally see my heart rate climbing at this point - who knows what’s going on!

Anyone else symptom spotting and got a Fitbit so can share their heart rate chart?

I was right. AF arrived this morning 😢

Hello ladies, I’ve taken a step back this month and haven’t been tracking at all. But I felt weird this morning and checked my HR (I have a garmin not a Fitbit so the chart is a bit different!) and this has happened...what do you make of it? It has never been this high, ever. CD1 was 18th May so today is CD25. No idea when I ovd. Am I making something of nothing or could this mean something?

mommato3 · 14/06/2019 14:22

@Novella12 I'd love to comment but the images won't load for me???

Treaclepie19 · 17/06/2019 07:37

Ohhh I was looking for this!
I've been tracking it this month too. It's not showing anything so far.
Maybe a slight raise to show ovulation but nothing much.

Treaclepie19 · 17/06/2019 07:39

Here's my chart. The red circle is cd1.

I'm still here every other month trying, no reason for it. So my Fitbit rhr looks good this month, still time to crash. Af due Monday.

@treaclepie19 I would be interested to see how we both test because our charts are very similar.

Treaclepie19 · 18/06/2019 12:39

@Bloodylegoeverywhere I will update you! Fingers crossed it's good news for us both.

@Bloodylegoeverywhere ohhh that's so exciting! Sending quiet congratulations 😁

Treaclepie19 · 18/06/2019 20:20

So many questions! When do you think ovulation was? What cycle day are you?

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 18/06/2019 20:37

thank you, Very kind but doubt it, I've had shadows before on frer and cheapies. Hmm, think it was a day before we did the deed. Google tells me you can catch it after ovulation but god knows. I know these sticks are a nightmare etc. so I think I ovulated on the 7th June making me 10 dpo. My Fitbit will tell me tmrw as well, depending on whether it stays elevated or starts dropping. Grin

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 06:01

Well I will keep everything crossed for you!
My heart rate has gone up again this morning.
I looked back and before my last af it dropped daily. The equivalent day would be saturday so if it stays high I might feel positive.

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 19/06/2019 07:15

Thank you
That's good, mine is still 67. Mine varies, has a steady drop, a big drop the day before or on the day.
Is this your first?

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 08:08

Child? Or cycle?
First cycle trying. We have a 3 year old and we lost a baby in December (termination for medical reasons)

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 19/06/2019 10:40

Amazing if this is your first cycle trying this time round and you catch it. Sorry to hear about the medical termination, that must of been hard. I have 2 boys Wink

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 10:52

I can't see it happening this quickly!
It took 5 months with our first son and another 4 before that with a miscarriage. Then with the little boy we lost it was first month!
It was really tough, we found out he had a rare chromosomal issue at 22 weeks.
Aww lovely :) Keeping everything crossed for you! Will you test again?

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 19/06/2019 11:12

I will test again but will wait a few more days. Dont fancy spending lots of money on the more expensive tests.

coconutlatte44 · 19/06/2019 18:05

Good luck to both of you!

My rhr has been consistently going down since a few weeks after conception, wish I had taken my Fitbit off so I didn't have another thing to think about! But despite the drop had a strong heartbeat on scan on Friday (around the time circled) so just sharing this to remind us it's not a perfect science!

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 20/06/2019 07:41

As you say, you can never tell re rhr, congratulations @coconutLatte44! Mine dropped by one today

Treaclepie19 · 20/06/2019 09:49

Congratulations @coconutlatte44 :)

Mine dropped by 2 today... AF isn't due until Tuesday.

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 21/06/2019 06:30

Morning, mine is the same as yesterday. No rise or drop. How about you @treaclepie19

Treaclepie19 · 21/06/2019 08:07

About the same. It keeps doing little dips then back up.
The highlighted one was the start of my period.
Not long left to go now for either of us! (Still feels ages)
