Anybody want a new Fitbit/resting heart rate &TTC thread? (Hr indicating bfp before tests)

Hello!
I know there are a few threads on this already but can’t find any recent ones.
There’s a theory that your resting heart rate goes up before you can get a bfp so a sudden spike/increase could be indicative of an upcoming bfp.
I’ve been tracking mine for months and have noticed that both times I was pregnant (both unsuccessful) this was true re heart rate.

For reference, it seems that a lot of people have a dip before ovulation followed by a spike around ovulation then it drops a bit and starts to climb a little, dropping again when af arrives. If it keeps climbing, it’s usually a good sign.

I think I’m out this month as mine is dropping steadily but I’ve had a weird cycle and am
Not sure I ovulated because I got multiple
Positive opks spread out over two weeks and didn’t see a heart rate spike as usual. I apparently ovulated around 23-27 (big window due to confusing tests) and AF is due in 4 days so I would normally see my heart rate climbing at this point - who knows what’s going on!

Anyone else symptom spotting and got a Fitbit so can share their heart rate chart?

Mine went down by 2 this morning and af has come.
Good luck all!

Hi ladies!

So this morning I had a positive ovulation test, whoop whoop! This is a pleasant surprise as I'd had ovulation problems prior to my pregnancy / miscarriage, so the fact that it's happened 38 days after the mc is encouraging given that in the past I'd had some cycles that were over 3 months!
From a heart rate point of view it's jumped up the past couple of days but I'd put this down to the really hot weather.... I'm off on holiday next weekend for 10 days so whilst we're away we might be on track either for AF or maybe even a BFP..... Shock

@Treaclepie19 sorry to hear AF has got u mine has also gone down do I don't know what is going on

mommato3 · 30/06/2019 10:33

@Treaclepie19 Sorry to hear af arrived.

I'm not holding my breath but mines gone up again.

This time last month it was high but dropped at this point (7days til af) however I'm 9dpo so not sure if af would be due earlier in all fairness. I'm expecting it will drop in the next day or so....

Well..... let's see what the rhr does the next day or so...... I think I just got a bfp......I can't post it today as it claims I've already posted 6 images today 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Avocuddles · 08/07/2019 07:51

Hi all.
@mommato3 did you get your BFP?

What does anyone think of the attached chart? I'm on holiday and 7-8 DPO. I'm trying to resist POAS as know it's way too early but not knowing is really hard. I would love a BFP, but if AF is going to arrive I hope she does it sooner rather than later so I can take advantage of all of the chilled white wine on offer!
It's my first cycle after my MC 7 weeks ago so feeling equal parts excited and scared at the thought of seeing two lines again.

Yvonne1988 · 10/07/2019 16:15

My rhr has gone up to 75 today. In a week it's gone up from 64. When I was on the pill it would go up to 70/71. Then drop the day of my break. But iv not had it this high before.

Yvonne1988 · 10/07/2019 17:27

Marker is possible ovulation, the 1st was a Monday but the Wednesday to Tuesday was fertile week, think it happened over the weekend ... Af due on Monday ish.

Congratulations @mommato3!!

@Avocuddles how is your hr looking?

Avocuddles · 10/07/2019 21:08

Hi @coconutlatte44. It's dropped a little but then again it did in the month I got my BFP. I've attached my April chart, got the BFP on 3rd May when I think i was around 16 DPO, then miscarried three weeks later. Had a BFN from FRER this morning but I'm only 9 or 10 DPO so guess it's not over yet. Just want to know one way or the other! I've been on holiday since Sunday and not had a single glass of wine yet Sad

Hi @Avocuddles, I had bfns on FRER at what I thought was 8dpo and 10dpo, went out and treated myself to a half pint (was too hopeful to go overboard!), then two or three days later tested positive! To be fair I don't track ovulation so am not exactly sure on dates, but definitely don't rule yourself out.

I had a mc in March, took one cycle off and then was lucky enough to get bfp on following cycle. Fingers crossed you have similar luck, you deserve it!

Avocuddles · 12/07/2019 08:48

Well that's me out for this month as looks like AF has arrived. Interestingly / depressingly my Fitbit chart was identical to the month in which I conceived, so I guess I won't pin too much hope on it going forward. Feeling really low now, the sadness over the miscarriage is hitting me badly. It's 14 months since we started TTC and still no luck. I feel broken Sad

coconutlatte44 · 12/07/2019 20:49

Hi @Avocuddles, so sorry to hear this. Rest up and treat yourself to anything that might help you feel a bit better. Yes, we definitely have to take the rhr with a grain of salt - mine was a huge source of fear as it dropped quite a bit after it rose for bfp, but all seems to be ok. Hang in there!!

Help1983uk · 06/09/2019 08:45

Is this post still live, just thought I'd share my graph with you to show you how similar my HR and Temp is at the moment. I turned on the HR setting on the Fertility Friend app and inputted my fitbit HR stats. What do you all think? Does it look promising? I think I O'd later than where my cross hairs state tbh x

Is this still active? It's the only decent one I've found and need advice

PT8998 · 06/10/2020 22:53

I’d love it if anyone on this thread previously (or new!) was able to have a look at my RHR chart. I’ve no idea how to interpret it, and it’s driving me mental! I don’t know if/when I ovulated (looks like by the RHR rise) and if I can pinpoint O from this chart? It’s driving me insane 😩

Any insight would be great! And would also save my insanity...

Second pic is of previous cycle where O was confirmed but ended with AF. I’ve very irregular cycles, and currently on CD97. So I don’t have much data to compare with!

Thanks!
