Hello there,

Currently on cycle #5, trying to conveive baby number two (many years after first), and realising ttc is one of the most frustrating tasks I have embarked on.

I had a chemical pregnancy in january which has completely taken all joy out of trying because even if that BFP appears, I do not think I could bring myself to be excited about it.

That being said, there is only one way this is going to happen so on I go with the 'ahem' BD and peeing on ovulation sticks and then pregnacy tests at any given moment.

AF due 15 April, let the obsessing begin..

Oh, and is anybody else actually sick of doing the deed yet (sorry husband)?

Phew, finally tucked up in bed with a cup of tea reading what I've missed!

@peasando Congratulations on your result!! I'm absolutely made up to see a BFP on this page! Thanks for the symptom list too. I read through it all! I think I have to agree with you on the cheapies. I don't find them that easy to read and all the reviews I've seen are terrible!

@MrsRLM I found looking at your chart really interesting! It's funny how different everyone's are! I am exactly the same with my temps though. The night before I decide within what range it should be in the morning and if it's not then I overthink it all day!

@MotherOfShihTzus I saw you mention a short luteal phase - how long is yours? I've been off the pill
Since the end of December and my last two cycles only had a luteal phase of 10 days. I've been taking extra vitamin b and c for it. Have you tried any supplements?

@Novella12 I didn't know that about OPK's! Another thing to pee on tomorrow! 😂

Well my period has not arrived on schedule! I allowed myself to get a bit excited this morning. I didn't test as I don't have loads of time in the morning before work and I knew I had a hard, exhausting day at work today which I wanted to be in the zone for.
Around 4pm though I was hit with the most UNBELIEVABLE cramps! They literally took my breath away! I had to run to the toilet to check I hadn't bled through me uniform (that's what it felt like!)
I don't feel pregnant and I can't imagine experiencing cramps like that meaning anything other than a mutant AF is on the way!
With that being said, if my temp stays up tomorrow I'll definitely be using my last FR - just to be completely honest! 😂
Either way, if a late period means a lengthening luteal phase then that is good!

Good morning! How is everyone doing? Who's testing today? We need some more BFPs!

Here are today's tests - the cheapie is still quite faint but I think the digital is pretty conclusive! Now I just have to hope and pray that it's a sticky bean xx

So, update from me....

My temp was still on the higher side this morning. Not massively but much higher for me. Despite the cramps continuing I thought I would throw caution to the wind and use my last FR and this happed!!

My line is actually much clearer in real life. I left it on the side in the bathroom and went to get my towel. I came back 30 seconds later and nearly fell over in shock!!

Here’s where I’m up to - day 29 of my cycle today. My cycles are usually 28 days so according to that, AF due today. For some reason my Flo app doesn’t think it’s due until tomorrow though. I ordered some FRERs from amazon, they’re arriving today. BUT I have some Clear Blue tests in the bathroom. I could test now with one of those - but am I setting myself up for a BFN? Should I just wait for the FRERs? (Definitely overthinking this whole thing!)

@Novella12 it it was me, I would test with the clearblue but then if it comes back BFN (which fx It won't!) I'd tell myself it's because they're not sensitive enough and test again with the frers when they arrive... Confused

@RLI1105 AAHHHHH! Congratulations!! I'm currently away and without any tests for the weekend, or my thermometer. Af due today and nothing as of yet which is unusual. I've come back to bed because I nearly threw up and I've got terrible back pain! Im sure it's unrelated but obvs a part of me is hoping. I suddenly feel totally exhausted. The only way I can describe it is it's as if I've just come off my first night shift and haven't slept in 28 hours. So weird. I need to get up though because I'm away with ten other people!!

@thosethreewords I have my fingers tightly crossed for you! No sign of AF here but that’s not to say she won’t arrive with a vengeance soon! I’ve just been for a swim to take my mind of things and going to go and get a hair cut now. Hopefully the FRERs will have arrived when I get home

So I have grumpily got off my delayed long haul flight and what a wonderful surprise to see these fabulously positive tests!!!

Congratulations @RLI1105! I wonder if those B vitamins have paid off then!

@peasando I imagine that must be a pretty wonderful feeling to actually do the digital test and see the words "pregnant."

So exciting- looking forward to more lines from tomorrow's FMUs 😄

I had some very light spotting yesterday which at 9DPO was likely more a sign of AF coming, but that hasn't continued, I'm also getting odd twinges and feeling very bloated - but I think these are the result of being cramped up for the past 10 hours in a very small space. I'll reassess once I'm home and showered in a couple of hours

Hi all, took a little break from this as had AF warning cramps for the past few days so knew I doomed this month. It finally arrived today. Really gutted, but trying to see the positives. I seem to have lengthened my luteal phase to 12 days, which is good coz I was worried about my cycle being a bit short. Might add some vit B after reading the above. FX for next month.

MASSIVE congrats to the BFPs @peasando & @RLI1105. So happy for you!!! You thoroughly deserve this. What a wonderful Christmas you'll have 😁x

Thanks @peasando and @Novella12 - I'm going to test earliest on Monday but maybe Tuesday if I can hold out 😱😱 I get back tomorrow night so the earliest I would have a test would be Monday morning.

AF still not here and back ache, all day nausea (and I'm definitely not imagining it)... 🤞

Thanks everyone for your congratulations! 😁 I'm really excited but also still trying to process! Obviously it's still extremely early and anything could happen but trying to enjoy the feeling while I can. My fiancé is currently on his stag do so you guys are the only people I have told in the world! I've just been out for dinner with my fiancé's sister who
I'm super close to and she was like "Oh I hope you have babies super quickly so our children can be best friends" I was desperate to blurt it out!

@Okready My luteal phase is only 10 days which I was worried about! I have been taking Vitamin C and vitamin B complex this month as well as a normal pregnancy supplement. Obviously I can't say for sure if it has helped but I got BFN with a FR 9dpo (not even a squinter) and a good BFP 12dpo so I obviously didn't implant early, say 7/8dpo. I'm going to keep
taking them too. A 12 day luteal phase is pretty good!

@Novella12 Did your FR's arrive? When are you thinking of testing? My fingers are crossed for you!'

@thosethreewords That does sound super promising!! Fingers crossed!! If your period was due yesterday then by Monday you should get a really clear answer! Eek!

@RLI1105 they arrived and I just did one with FMU, BFN. I’m not too surprised to be honest but a little disappointed. Ah well, onto next month. Need AF to hurry up now!

@thosethreewords I’ll probably wait until Tuesday now. I’m hoping AF will turn up today so that we can get back on it 😂 I’m on day 30 of my cycle now, 15DPO, and I’m usually so regular at 28 days. I got another positive OPK this morning so who knows what’s going on!

I thought I was out because I had minor spotting a few days ago (and minor spot every day). But nothing like it normally is before a period and period usually shows by now and nothing so I’ve been testing and today this came up!

And so the 2ww begins. 15th April count down.

Thanks Novella12. It sounds like you might be pregnant too? Have you ever been late? For me I’m like clockwork. Never late. Only have been early by a day or two sometimes. But never past 28 days for my cycle. And if you are getting positive OPK that is a good sign. Good luck and keep us update!

And congratulations everyone else who had a positive! Have been reading this thread on and off but have been on holiday last several days so haven’t been reading through. And good luck to everyone else still waiting!
