Currently on cycle #5, trying to conveive baby number two (many years after first), and realising ttc is one of the most frustrating tasks I have embarked on.

I had a chemical pregnancy in january which has completely taken all joy out of trying because even if that BFP appears, I do not think I could bring myself to be excited about it.

That being said, there is only one way this is going to happen so on I go with the 'ahem' BD and peeing on ovulation sticks and then pregnacy tests at any given moment.

AF due 15 April, let the obsessing begin..

Oh, and is anybody else actually sick of doing the deed yet (sorry husband)?

Sorry you're feelingoing down. I felt the same for first 3 months but this month I'm a bit more relaxEd this month, think I'm getting used to the disappointment. It will happen, Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I keep reminding myself of one of my good friends who concieved her first baby after 4 months but then took 18 months to concieve second! She went on to have another 2 very quickly after. Gives me hop that eventually it will happen.

Also since trying to conceive, a few friends have tried making me feel better by telling me how long it took them, one took 9 months, the other 7.

It doesn't help the impatient part of me but it does give me hope.

@lottie360 thank you :) you're right, it is important to focus on the success stories and stay hopeful. Just find the 2ww agonising! I think we are going to book a holiday soon for the summer- we usually book in advance but didn't because of ttc. I think we need to live in the moment and just make the most of being the 2 of us for now!

Hello can I join? AF due 14 April although she showed up five days early last month so who knows 😡 Think I'm 3dpo (based on clearblue OPKs) and trying really hard not to symptom spot but just had a really big blob of EWCM (sorry, TMI) which is definitely not normal for me at this point!

Hope all is well. I've been super chilled all month and can you believe it, an hour ago I developed a headache and decided it could be a pregnancy symptom. Awww, I was doing so well but my familiar friend obsession is back. 3dpo is a new record for me.😅

What a difference a couple of hours makes, Ive now decided I'll be really sad if I'm not pregnant this month.

I am however managing to remain positive in the sense that I know it will happen eventually and there is nothing wrong with me.

I know how you feel I've definitely been secretly symptom spotting even though I said I wouldn't...today I have been freezing cold and starving hungry must mean something 😂
And I also check for cm every time I go to the toilet! but I guess you never know. 😄

@lottie360 oh gosh me too! I was determined to be chilled out this month, no obsessing, no symptom spotting and DEFINITELY no early testing.

So here I am at 3dpo on Mumsnet banging on about CM! That went well... 🤦‍♀️

I have a stash of cheapie tests as well (bulk bought from Amazon last month). I mean, if I don't end up testing tomorrow morning I will be amazed...

Hi, mind if I join too? First time properly TTC and AF due on the 11th but I've reallyyyy been symptom spotting this month!

To be fair I've had the most fatigue I've ever had but like constantly and also had weird pulling sensation in my lower stomach as well as headaches constantly (plus occasional nausea). My boyfriend keeps telling me I can't feel symptoms this early but I've really not felt well at all.

Who knows - I'm remaining hopeful but have been let down by false symptoms in the past so quite nervous for taking a test. Don't know how long I can wait!! X

I had the same resolve @peasando and find myself constantly on mumsnet. Hadnt had any symptoms up until today. Had quite a bit of pink tinged EWCM - sorry tmi - not sure what that means but its not something i have had before.

@lottie360 I try to be positive like this too. When we started TTC, me and DH decided that we were focusing on getting pregnant this year rather than cycle by cycle. So 3 down, 11 to go (yes I've counted them!)

Hello! Can I join in please? I think AF will be due on 15th April, think I ovulated yesterday but didn't see a temp rise this AM. But if I am 1DPO then it's the 15th for me too. Seems like a lot of us will be counting down till then - let's hope for some BFPs next week (because let's face it -none of us will be waiting until the 15th to test!!) 🤣

I bulk bought 50 IC last month and only just remembered. Woo, They'll be gone in about 10 days.

Unfortunately, I've made the mistake of google imaging pictures of faint positives and have seen that some women get there BFP at 6dpo! This of course only happens to about 1 in a thousand but hey, could be me 😂

😂 i wish I had 50 tests! I'm gonna buy some more tomorrow and hopefully I can hold off until Sunday as it's my OH birthday and I'll be 11dpo then..what a great birthday present that would be.

Same dates as me, really hoping for some BFP from this thread this month.

I also bought 50 last month, and surprisingly have a few left! So I caved and tested this morning (4 dpo - what an idiot!!) and then proceeded to put the test down in a puddle of water on the side. So obviously it was a BFN but obviously that's because it was so diluted..

I am a crazy person.

@Charlotte9876 cycle twins! I'm either 2DPO or 3DPO - FF gave me crosshairs this morning and reckons I'm 3DPO. In a way that would be better because then I hit all the days! And yes - not waiting until 15th to test haha

@lottie360 I bought 50 too. I feel like this way if I want to POAS I can do without wasting FRERs!! I'm not doing any FRERs unless I actually miss my period

@thosethreewords that's a good idea buying a load of cheap ones to just use at will to save on the FRER! I think I'll follow suit. 😄

I brought 30 cheap ones this month too. Wasted so much money on FRERs last month because i was 4 days late

Hey all, I'm back again for round 3. AF due on the 14th.

4 DPO today.

Found out that I think my temps were recording the wrong OV date as I managed to work it out myself this month and was a couple of days different. So lets see if that changes things at all.

I've been obsessively following various threads like this for the past few months but thought it would be good to join in as this one is bang on my cycle. TTC our 1st, and cycle 3 for me. I'm 38, so coming at it all a bit late but hopeful it won't take too long. AF due around 11th/12th.
So comforting to see I'm not alone in the 2ww stress. Good luck to everyone this month.

Random observation today...I've noticed today that my boobs seem bigger! I've got a bra on that usually is slightly big on me tbh (could do with getting some new ones lol) but not today! Caught sight of myself in the mirror and was like woah! Where did they come from?? I know they change during pregnancy but does anyone know if it would be this early??

@MrsBookworm I know last cycle I noticed my boobs were huge just before my period and I got quite a few comments when I wore a low cut dress! (From close friends perving on me 😂)

@MrsBookworm , yes that was the first sign for me (besides the missed period lol)

@peasando I'm not sure tbh. I had some cramp yesterday and a little brown spotting and the odd bit of nausea but nothing else. No breast tenderness or anything as of yet but that usually starts about a week before af. You? It's awful this bit isn't it xx
