Hello there,

Currently on cycle #5, trying to conveive baby number two (many years after first), and realising ttc is one of the most frustrating tasks I have embarked on.

I had a chemical pregnancy in january which has completely taken all joy out of trying because even if that BFP appears, I do not think I could bring myself to be excited about it.

That being said, there is only one way this is going to happen so on I go with the 'ahem' BD and peeing on ovulation sticks and then pregnacy tests at any given moment.

AF due 15 April, let the obsessing begin..

Oh, and is anybody else actually sick of doing the deed yet (sorry husband)?

@peasando congratulations!!! That looks positive to me!!!

10-11DPO and miserable and irritable because I told myself I wouldn't POAS and I did and it was BFN 😩😩

thosethreewords · 12/04/2019 08:34

@peasando I'm so sorry that I included that in the same message I wrote to you! Tactless! Didn't mean to 🥰

Novella12 · 12/04/2019 08:41

@peasando congratulations!!

peasando · 12/04/2019 08:48

Thanks so much guys!

@thosethreewords haha don't worry about that at all! I'm so sorry about your BFN but there's still time 🤞🏻💖 xx

lololoe · 12/04/2019 09:03

BFN for me again this morning. Fed up with this ttc now. I keep getting these early lines/shadows then it all disappears. I don't know what's going on but I'm feeling a bit down about it. Sad

lololoe · 12/04/2019 09:04

@peasando congratulations that does look good line progression too

thosethreewords · 12/04/2019 09:32

@lololoe yeah I feel that way today too, but I think it's probably the hormones too!

MotherOfShihTzus · 12/04/2019 09:44

@thosethreewords ah I did the same, feel the same :( was meant to wait til tomo, but 12dpo today and want a drink tonight. No symptoms at all so wondered if that meant I was pregnant Confused oh dear. Not even a squinter! Now feeling sorry for myself, but feeling good at least that my luteal phase seems to be lengthening :)

Novella12 · 12/04/2019 10:13

@MotherOfShihTzus hope you feel more cheery later - good news about your luteal phase!

After getting the positive on my OPK this morning, I have (predictably) spent the morning falling down a google hole about what that means. As with everything else in the TWW, it means EITHER you’re pregnant OR AF is on her way 😂

I’m getting a headache now which I usually do before AF.

Headswim · 12/04/2019 10:28

Hey @MotherOfShihTzus sorry about the result today, but good about luteal phase... can I ask what you are doing to lengthen? I have the same issue

peasando · 12/04/2019 10:32

@Novella12 I've had a headache all week so it could be good news... x

MotherOfShihTzus · 12/04/2019 10:40

@Headswim hey there! So I am taking 1000mg vit c, a vit b complex and pregnacare. Also focusing on activity levels and diet; walking for about an hr a day and eating leafy greens and wholgrains. Couldn't tell you which of these is working as I started all of them about 2+ months ago!

thosethreewords · 12/04/2019 11:22

@peasando do you feel any different to normal? I just wonder if all the symptom spotting is a load of rubbish and actually no one really feels that different 😂

Charlotte9876 · 12/04/2019 11:24

Morning all - I just woke up and did a test at 9 DPO and negative - but I figured as I'll be flying overnight tonight I won't be able to test with FMU until Sunday now when AF is due.

Sounds like there's some good charts/signs so fingers crossed by the time I'm back there'll be some more BFPs on here!!

And congratulations @peasando 🥳

peasando · 12/04/2019 11:37

Thanks @Charlotte9876! Safe flight.

Good question @thosethreewords. I am the worlds worst for symptom spotting and have been convincing myself every month that this is it, but the main things this time were a really sore back for the last week (and not just lower back, the whole thing) and a headache most days, which I don't normally get. I've also been really snappy with DH (more so than usual!)

I've eventually realised that I get varying degrees of sore boobs and nausea every tww so I don't trust those as symptoms any more, but everyone is different! I think the key is noticing something that's different from your normal cycle. I actually kept a list of my symptoms this month so I could compare them next month (!), hang on and I'll try and post them.

peasando · 12/04/2019 11:40

Here you go...sorry about the TMI! 🙈

3 dpo very smelly poo (way TMI!), lots of ewcm
4dpo strong smelling urine, very sore upper back, thirst, tired
5dpo upper back still sore, thirsty, tired, dizzy when standing. Boobs feel heavy. Creamy cm (loads)
6dpo sore back, nausea, dizzy, mild cramps, poss squinter on IC
7dpo diarrhoea, sore boobs, watery cm. BFN on IC
8dpo sore boobs, blue veins, some nausea, back ache, watery cm, constipated, really smelly wind. Shattered (went to bed at 8:30) BFN on IC and FRER
9dpo extreme nausea, thirsty, hot, sore back, headache, sore boobs, constipated. BFN on FRER.
10dpo sore back, slight dizziness, tender boobs, headache, nausea in afternoon, spots. BFN on FRER and IC.
11dpo sore back, nausea, poss squinter on IC, faint BFP on FRER!

AysLon · 12/04/2019 12:03

@peasando Congrats and thank you for that very helpful list of symptoms to (hopefully) look out for. I am DPO4 I think...could be DPO3 if trust Flo, but i trust my body more and how infelt early hours of Monday morning. Good luck to all trying...I am also hoping to lengthen my literal phase and just to get into a better settled cycle. I am CD27 but very irregular (52, 28, 37, 33) since coming off Pill in October. If AF this month I just will aim to get my cycles more reliable to predict.

This thread is amazing for being a forum to express my fears and worries and vents- thanks guys.

Novella12 · 12/04/2019 13:16

@peasando that’s so interesting, thanks for sharing! Do you mind if I ask what you mean by blue veins on 8DPO? Thank you! X

Novella12 · 12/04/2019 13:17

@AysLon 🤞 this month is your month!

peasando · 12/04/2019 13:48

@Novella12 ah yes sorry! Really visible veins on my boobs!

peasando · 12/04/2019 13:48

🤞🏻 @AysLon x

thosethreewords · 12/04/2019 14:23

@peasando maybe I need to get some FRERs then since I only have cheap ones and they're hard to read! I think I'm 10 or 11DPO today so still have a chance 👌

Novella12 · 12/04/2019 15:03

@peasando ah, thanks!

peasando · 12/04/2019 15:14

@thosethreewords defo, this is the second month I've used the cheapie ones and i really think they are rubbish. I have loads left so I keep peeing on them but frer's are much better.

I did 3 of the cheapies yesterday (don't judge me!) and another one before work this morning and they have the faintest lines ever on them, couldn't see them without my glasses! On the other hand my DH could see the FRER line straight away even without his specs and he's blind as a bat! 😂

AysLon · 12/04/2019 17:15

@Novella12 @peasando Thanks for your positive thoughts guys!
@thosethreewords Good luck! Also Frer are on offer on Amazon, it'd be rude/negligent/downright careless not to!
