@moonpeace I haven't yet I thought that because I've had 3 mmc's in a row that did not end naturally even after waiting that my progesterone was OK but I'm wondering now. I've put last month's chart up do you think it says low progesterone?

@moonpeace Thanks hun I'll get in with a doc if I can.

I'm so fed of all this now, I'm so upset I just don't know what to do with myself. Ttc is stressing me out but the idea of not ttc is worst. I just need nature to cut me a break. I've tried to talk to DH but he just doesn't get why I'm so upset he just keeps telling me to stop worrying about it which really isn't helpful. Literally all I seem to do these days is worry or cry.

Newbie21 · 26/04/2019 01:07

@Lilimum6 definitely go and see a doctor. I feel so much better that I'm now speaking to the doctors and getting the necessary tests. Even it reveals there is nothing particularly wrong and we just need to keep trying at least I will know I've looked into stuff. Just being able to take some form of action when we feel so out of control with everything that is going on helps in my opinion. This journey really sucks.

Lilimum6 · 26/04/2019 07:09

@moonpeace @Mistymeow and anyone else that temps.
I'm still waiting for the stupid temp rise but I need advice I woke up randomly at 5.30am and my temp was 36.91 so went back to sleep and took it again at the proper time of 7am and it was 36.66 which temp should I use neither will be the big temp rise I was hoping for but don't know what to enter on FF today

strawberrye · 26/04/2019 07:15

@lilimum6 if you didn't get up or move around much I'd probably enter the 7am one

Lilimum6 · 26/04/2019 07:18

@strawberrye I did enter the first on on to the app before going back to sleep does that count as moving to much. I've since changed it to the second temp.

Mistymeow · 26/04/2019 08:23

Yes I would be inclined to take the 7am time. Definitely book the doctor today. If it is low progesterone this is very treatable. You clearly do ovulate because of your pregnancies. I’m sure your GP will be happy to do a day 21 test- perhaps you could even do it during this cycle. You will be ok. I’ve had problems with ovulation last year and it was fixable- all down to hormone imbalance because of the miscarriage. Now go and ring the doctor’s and get some reassurance :)

InDreamland · 26/04/2019 08:42

Wow this thread moves fast.

@Lilimum6 sorry you're feeling so rubbish about all this. Given what you've been through it's totally normal to feel like this. Hope you can get to see your GP quickly. Get every test going.

Jumping in on the exercise discussion, when pregnant both times I didn't stop and carried on with weights etc. but I did find I needed to drop down to a slightly lower weight and also just didn't have the energy to go for it full pelt like I normally do. I think it is healthy to continue what you do exercise wise as much as you can if you're already exercising. That said I lost both babies so maybe next time if it happens I'll take it much more easy but I hate not exercising.

Should be having first acupuncture session tomorrow. Decided to give it a try as so many here have recommended it. I've gotta try something new. Half way through antibiotics today too.

InDreamland · 26/04/2019 08:44

I am feeling really low about it all too so big hugs to all of you having a hard time. 3 baby bombs recently has really hit me hard. It's not even like I can avoid these people either.

@Mistymeow do you mind me asking about your hormone imbalance and what they did to treat you? I think my hormones are out of whack XX

Mistymeow · 26/04/2019 17:48

@laney79 sure, although all my blood results were fine. When I had the fertility appointment for ivf the consultant prescribed clomid purely on the basis of my cycle length- ranging from 20 days to 35 days. She said she didn’t think I was ovulating every month. I decided not to take the clomid because that cycle was normal (30 days) and the next cycle I conceived. I had a lot of the symptoms you describe (short light periods, irregular cycles). But bloods were fine. In the end I think it was partly to do with the miscarriage taking longer for my body to recover and stress.

ale2992 · 26/04/2019 19:31

I'll be in TWW in the next few days I think so hoping I can keep going with the not obsessing and it will make the wait seem less

PrayingForMyRainbow · 26/04/2019 21:48

@InDreamland how was the acupuncture? Is it good for conceiving? I heard reflexology can be good for fertility too x

Avf88 · 26/04/2019 22:24

@InDreamland hugs to you too. I’ve just been told the my mums friends daughter (we grew up as friends but aren’t close any more) is a few weeks ahead of what I should be. It’s killing me. Thankfully we don’t live near each other but it’s making me feel bad for not being happy for her... what a confusing time! 🙈

Yukka · 27/04/2019 07:59

Morning all sorry to see some if you having a difficult time. It’s a hard path to be on xx

Re excercise my acupuncturist first advised no exercise at all for the first 12 weeks, then consultant said the same. When I looked st pregnancy classes/yoga/swimming groups, none of them allow you in till 12 weeks.

I did continue with some yoga till 8 weeks, but as it has to be dialled down so much it wasn’t worth it. Went back to yoga and swimming at 14 weeks.

Their reason was about just how fragile early pregnancy really can be, probably more so for us with history xx

@prayingformyrainbow acupuncture totally sorted out my cycles after last mc and I’m convinced was the reason I conceived again after 6 months of nothing - I had been getting pregnant every 3 months. @indreamland how did it go?

Good luck to those in the tww x

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 13:57

Hope everyone is ok

I started using OPKs first time yesterday and wonder if anyone can help

I got what I interpret as a high result yesterday (but not quite +be)

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 14:00

Not quite positive I meant

Today I tested again expecting it to be the same or stronger but I got a faint line

I’m on CD13. Usual cycle length is 31 days but I’m only on my third cycle since giving birth and last month was 34 days.

I am not getting stressed about it as it’s probably early anyway but odd that the line is lighter today?

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 14:00

I did text earlier today - was about 5 pm yesterday and 2 pm today

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 14:07

Today’s test is quite a bit darker now (than this test was when I first posted) 🤔

Not v much lighter than yesterday

Will try again later

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 14:21

Today’s test has got darker (maybe I was a bit too keen) so will try again later

VenusStarr · 27/04/2019 14:24

@AliceRR I used those tests last year and generally tested around 2pm and 6pm. My surge is fairly short and I don't think I ever really got a true positive. What cd are you on and how long is your cycle?

I'm obsessing over bring pregnant again 🙄 I know it's not healthy but can't stop myself.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend x

fnej01 · 27/04/2019 14:30

@AliceRR looks like you are getting close to peak but not quite there yet. I think now would be good timing to DTD if you can. X

AliceRR · 27/04/2019 14:45

Thank you

I am on CD13

Did yesterday, will try again today / tomorrow

DH said yesterday I am treating him like a baby making machine so can’t be too forthcoming about it - I feigned being horny yesterday but he knows how a woman’s cycle works 😂 We still dtd though 😬

Any tips in that regard welcome! It doesn’t help that we hadn’t dtd for the best part of a year until this week but I was pregnant and then postnatal so it seems like I’m only interesting in making a baby 🙄
