@venustarr really sorry you had a bad day. It sounds like your work are taking good care of you. How are you doing today?
@newbie21 that does sound very frustrating but it’s good you are seeing the nurse. Hope everything settles soon.
@flapjackered sorry for your loss. Cycles can go a bit wacky after a miscarriage (sometimes when you are later in the first trimester it can take a while for the hormones to settle). I hope you are doing ok.
@russkispy that’s really great news, so pleased for you. Everything crossed for your next scan!
@indreamland well done for resisting! I would wait until the weekend if you can.
@littlelea welcome to the group. So sorry to hear of your losses. It must be a very difficult time for you waiting for test results and to say goodbye to your little one. There are a couple of ladies here who had later losses whom I am sure can provide support. Sending lots of love.

I took a frer and bfn. I’m not too disappointed because I feel nervous about a new pregnancy. But I wish af would turn up now (first since erpc). I had extreme cramps on Sunday but nothing. Tiny amount of spotting yesterday. I know I ovulated (confirmed by temps) but at 15 dpo I expected a period by now. Last time I had an erpc I got af 4 weeks later. Hoping af will arrive today (just in time for my long weekend away, joy!).

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 09:33

Oh lord now I think I can see a faint line on the frer. If this is a chemical I really don’t want to know. I’m not going to test again unless af doesn’t show by the weekend.

Yukka · 17/04/2019 09:39

@russkispy lovely to read your update fingers crossed for next scan. If you need any extra support during this phase just PM me, it’s quite a difficult thing to be pregnant after mcs xxx

@laney79 what did you decide on the end re fertility week? It’s a difficult one. I’d prob be tempted to crack on with IVF as that can take time also. Can you ttc whilst going through ivf from a medical perspective? Appreciating pressure on DH.

I’m all good here, still pregnant... 25.3 now. Lots of movements and starting to prep at home. Bloods and growth scans are good, they will decide at 28w if I should go back on heparin till 36w. Still on daily aspirin, got diabetes test next week as urine sugars are high. Otherwise I’m feeling good and treatment for APS so far successful. Here’s hoping xxx

Sorry to see new joiners and those having a rough time. Stay as positive as you can, we all have our own journeys but the odds remain in your favour for successful pregnancy xxx

Hi all!

Amazing news @Russkispy! Everything crossed for your scan and sending positive thoughts!

@Indreamland – keeping fingers crossed for you too! Agree that seeing that white space is even worse than AF arriving, so well done for holding out!

@Mistymeow I’m getting prematurely excited for you! On a serious note, we wait so long to see a bloody line and when we get one I find it opens a whole new set of worries.

@Frillyfarmer – have you tested yet?!

I am a bit better than the past few weeks. I had a long talk with DH about how I feel weird after tube removal and just how the whole thing has left me feeling very frightened and generally not ‘in the mood’ to TTC, although I still desperately want a second child. He was very helpful and supportive. We even managed to DTD a few times over my fertile week (if my calculations are correct –it’s only the second cycle after the ectopic so I am also worried my cycle might still be out of whack). Anyway, I didn’t use OPKs and I have never temped, so I don’t think we will have caught it this month but I am still descending into TWW madness! Veering from wildly optimistic to convinced that I will never have another child… I am also so scared of actually being pregnant and it being ectopic again or having another MC…such a rollercoaster.

I can’t remember if anyone here has had an ectopic? If so, did you have pains around ovulation? I have felt really sore on the left side (where the tube was removed) for the past week. And had a couple of stabby pains. Have read that women can often feel ovulation after ectopic surgery?? But also that the site of the pregnancy can feel sore due to adhesions etc. Its stirred up a lot of emotions and made me feel quite sad. I don’t want to have to feel that every month in addition to the rest of the worries and emotions!

I am sorry to everyone I have missed and that I don’t ever keep up properly. I am thinking of you all xxx

Newbie21 · 17/04/2019 11:10

Hi ladies, update from me - I had a really good appointment with the nurse today - she was so understanding and helpful. She said my CP counted as an MC so since I had 3 MCs last year I was entitled to a referral so I'm to have blood tests and scans. I have private healthcare through work but it doesn't cover fertility but she said it should cover gynecology so she is writing a letter which will allow me to have scans and tests privately to speed things along but also putting me in the NHS system. Naturally I burst out crying at the relief of someone listening to me and giving me a path forward. She then asked if I wanted to hear a happy story and then told me how she is 49 and last year she gave birth to twins (it was her second IVF round) so I was to stay positive and to relax as much as I can and it will happen. So I'm feeling very relieved and blessed today that I met such a lovely lady. Fingers crossed that things progress and that my positive thinking stays and helps me on this journey.

I hope that story gives you all a bit of hope too xx

Bluebelltulip · 17/04/2019 11:21

So glad you had a good appointment @Newbie21.

I'm in a dilemma today, having bathroom extended and redone. I hate mess and find it really stressful but if I escape to my mum's we will likely miss my fertile window this month.

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:31

@Bluebelltulip oh no. See how you feel pet. But I think I would just stay and dtd during fertile window. Totally depends on how stressed you are though x

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:32

That's great news @Newbie21 she sounds lovely x

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:34

Did a clear blue digital test this morning.. still positive says 1-2 weeks so must still have hcg since mc 12 days ago.. We're going to dtd anyway this week as I think it's my fertile week. Anybody got similar experience?

sophied1983 · 17/04/2019 15:16

@FirstTimeMama91 - I know it's tough but I'd be inclined to wait until you get a negative pregnancy test. But that's just me. Not talking with any medical expertise!

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 16:18

It looks like an evap, although it did come up within the time frame. Or maybe I’m just seeing things! I plan to test again at the weekend if no af.

Frillyfarmer · 17/04/2019 17:20

@FirstTimeMama91 can you have a fertile period whilst your body still has elevated HCG?

@MyHeartIsBrokeButIHaveSomeGlue I haven't yet, only because I've not got any FRER! Hopefully tomorrow, although won't be in time for FMU and I'm just so ridiculously impatient this cycle!

@Mistymeow I can't see anything on that but I always find squinters really hard to take a photo of. How many DPO are you?

VenusStarr · 17/04/2019 17:38

@FirstTimeMama91, I'm still getting positives, it's 2 weeks tomorrow since I passed everything. When I had my scan last week they said my left ovary was waking up and I have had ewcm over the weekend. No idea what's happening. Just wanted to post in solidarity

@Mistymeow, I can see something but not sure. Good plan to leave it a while. Sorry you're in limbo tho 😔

@Newbie21 glad you have had a positive appointment and for sharing her happy story.

Feeling better today. I'm wondering if my emotional days are linked to my hormones coming down. Hope everyone is OK.

Any nice plans for Easter weekend? X

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 18:01

@frillyfarmer I’m not entirely sure as I wasn’t temping every day- 13 or 15 dpo. It’s the first cycle since my erpc so probably everything is out of whack. There is a faint line irl but it could well be left over hcg, although I have had bfns previously. Good luck for when you test!
@venusstarr glad you feel better, definitely the hormones crashing will make you feel worse. I’m ok, just would like af to kick in now. I have a lovely relaxing weekend on our family’s narrow boat, am on my way up now. I hope you have something nice planned for the long weekend, the weather looks great!

Beaglemum93 · 17/04/2019 18:37

That's great news @Russkispy!
Lovely to hear your pregnancy is progressing well @Yukka :)

I'm 4 weeks now and tests are still getting darker so hopefully this will stick but I'm so scared about having another miscarriage.

I think I see a very faint line on that test @Mistymeow, fingers crossed for you

ale2992 · 17/04/2019 19:06

Hi all, sorry I've been quiet but have been trying to take a step back from obsessing over TTC.
Just a little update, I went to my doctors today just to voice some concerns I've been having around my cycle and TTC. She wasn't concerned at all, thinks it's highly likely my hormones haven't balanced out yet from coming off my pill in September. She calmed my concerns without making me feel stupid, it felt positive and I felt as though she listened and understood.
She said the obvious, try not to stress/just enjoy it, which I knew she'd say and it's what I am trying to do. I am trying not to track this cycle and the next ones coming other than using my apps, which I don't actually use everyday now. She also did say that if I haven't conceived in three month to come back and she'd look at referring me.

Newbie21 · 17/04/2019 19:50

Fingers crossed for you @Beaglemum93

@ale2992 I got the same kind of advice about relaxing etc. I'm going to try and chill out a bit the cycle. I didn't think about it at all and fell straight away with my son. I think the longer the time goes on the more I get stressed and fed up and that isn't helping. Let's think zen-like thoughts. After all it's going to be a lovely warm and sunny long weekend so hopefully, despite what everyone is going through, we can all try and enjoy the sunshine and have something to smile about Smile

Frillyfarmer · 17/04/2019 19:51

Got home to a pack of FRER so I've tested at 10DPO and there is a definite line? I'm elated and utterly terrified of another MC.

Beaglemum93 · 17/04/2019 19:55

Congratulations @Frillyfarmer! That's a good line for 10dpo :)

ale2992 · 17/04/2019 19:59

@Frillyfarmer that's a brilliant line for 10dpo congrats!

ale2992 · 17/04/2019 19:59

@Newbie21 yes zen like thoughts all round! Easier said than done though

Squiff70 · 17/04/2019 20:03

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join please?

I had a late miscarriage in January at 19 weeks (twins) and this month we've started to TTC again. I'm 8DPO and decided to do a FRER tomorrow. I shouldn't be symptom spotting but over the last 3 days I've had dizzness, cramping and back pain. I know it's a bit early to test but I can't wait much longer. I'm excited and terrified in equal measure.

@Frillyfarmer congratulations! I have everything crossed for you Flowers

MyHeartIsBrokeButIHaveSomeGlue · 17/04/2019 20:10

@Frillyfarmer!!! I'm so pleased for you! Fingers crossed for a sticky one xxx

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 20:13

Welcome @squiff70 sorry to hear the sad news about your twins. I hope this is a positive cycle for you.

@frillyfarmer congratulations, that’s a lovely line at 10dpo! I hope this is it for you x
