Thanks @Mistymeow, you said almost exactly what the gynecologist said last week! Dh had started taking the wellman conception tablets. These were advised after his SA. We then caught a month after he started them. He's ordering some more. He's not so bad on caffeine and alcohol but both of us have completely got out of the habit of any fitness routine at the moment.

Having a really bad day, got sent home from work as I was so upset 😢

VenusStarr · 15/04/2019 16:13

Ps sorry to hear you've got painful cramps @Mistymeow. I think leaving it a while to test is probably a good idea. Fingers crossed for you xx

Newbie21 · 15/04/2019 19:36

Hi @Mistymeow my second MC was in November so it's been a little while. The spotting seems to be a new feature of my cycle which I could handle although was beginning to question but this cycle, I've literally had my AF at 9DPO (ovulation based on CB digital static smiley being 2 days before). I've been tracking ovulation using CB digital tests since after my first MC back in April and my luteal phase (bar one cycle when I didn't ovulate - 2 months after first MC) is always 13/14 days excluding any spotting. I think I am just getting so fed up with it all. I booked an appointment with the nurse at my GP. Hopefully she will be willing to run some tests or refer me. If they count CPs then I've had 3 MCs so hopefully entitled. Plus I'd like to just know what is going on with my cycle and whether my age (38) is becoming even more of an issue :-(

Newbie21 · 15/04/2019 19:40

@Mistymeow I hope the cramps calm. Maybe wait a few days before testing. Our bodies do go a little haywire after MCs and surgery.

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 08:48

@Mistymeow we have a urologist appointment after work today. Hopefully there is good news and a "fix". Thing is I'm just so impatient now, now I know I can get pregnant twice I want to just have a third but keep it and quickly. Hope your cramps have eased now. MC really can play havoc with anything to do with AF and our wombs. Someone else I know who has had multiple mc's since summer last year, also no living children, is saying the same thing. Fx that the cramps though are a good sign and the witch never shows and you get a BFP.

@Newbie21 it's such a head f**k isn't it. Hope you can get a referral. I worry about my age now at 39.

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 08:56

@Lilimum6 hope that you can get some BD'ing in this cycle.

@Laney79 whatever decision you make will be the right one for you. If you're unsure you could wait a couple of cycles before going ahead?

@Beaglemum93 fx this is a sticky one! Keep us posted.

@Frillyfarmer how are you getting on? Are you going to test early or wait until you miss AF? I'm too scared to test. Even when I test after AF is very late and I get a BFP I can't hang onto baby. Both times I've had a BFP I've tested when AF is late.

AF due this weekend. Bet she ruins my Easter.

FlapJackered · 16/04/2019 09:23

Hi ladies, I hope it is ok if I join? I am 31, ttc #1, cycle 2 after MC. I see some familiar names on here.
I had a MC at 8 weeks end of Feb after a suspected ectopic and laparoscopy. I had been ttc for over a year and so the bfp was a long time coming so I am now terrified it is going to take another year. Two of my best friends are due the same month I would have been so it has been a hard few months.
I am now cd14 waiting for ovulation. Did you find your cycles settled down quite quickly after your MC?

Frillyfarmer · 16/04/2019 09:40

@InDreamland I tested yesterday at 8DPO with an internet cheapy just to get the urge out of my system because I was driving myself wild. I will test either Friday or Saturday as we're out for Easter Sunday and I will be having a few gins in its BFN. How about you, when are you planning to test?

I'm dead on my feet today, my toddler was up from 2.30-5am with a snotty nose and I'm in budget meetings at work all afternoon. I'm feeling bloody awful to be honest, sleep deprived, snotty and wibbly, hay fever seems to have wiped me out!

Russkispy · 16/04/2019 10:27

Jut finished my early Scan which went very well and all progressing well and according to the dates! 7w3d today! And only 1 baby! Strong heartbeat! tears of relief about everything! Booked for another reassurance scan in 2 weeks! Then harmony test in 3 weeks and anxiously waiting for its results. In the meantime time, still feeling tired every night and nausea kicked in last week, and boobs are still tender from the day of transfer. But I'm not complaining. Just feeling blessed we've gone that far and still more hurdles to overcome

@InDreamland no chance of that for I don't know how long DH has done his back in again always seems to happen around fw. Starting to think there's a pattern. Last month it was tooth pain. And other times it's been head aches or toothache. I've asked him about it and he says it's nothing to do with ttc but I'm starting to wonder.

Lilimum6 · 16/04/2019 16:14

@Russkispy that's wonderful news hun xx
Fingers crossed the next 32 weeks are just as wonderful and healthy xx

Lilimum6 · 16/04/2019 16:18

@FlapJackered welcome and sorry for your loss x I hope you find support and friendship from this group. I couldn't handle it without these wonderful ladies x x

Newbie21 · 16/04/2019 19:26

Lovely news @Russkispy fingers crossed that you have an uneventful and healthy pregnancy.

Newbie21 · 16/04/2019 19:32

@FlapJackered sorry for your loss. It is difficult when others around you fall pregnant and would be due around the same time. Each woman is different after an MC but I would say I had a few months of slightly longer cycles and then a cycle when I didn't ovulate then it all regulated after that so about 2-3 months. I should also say that my cycles have been a little different ever since with spotting before AF but this might just be coincidence. I hope you don't have a long wait. Try and stay positive. This is a very supportive group. I'm not always the most responsive on this group but I do check in regularly and find a lot of comfort from the ladies here and the helpful advice and just knowing I can vent when I feel a bit rubbish knowing this group understand.

FlapJackered · 16/04/2019 20:13

Thank you for your lovely messages @Newbie21 @Lilimum6
@Newbie21 thanks, fingers crossed it's not too messed up! Clearblue digital opks are on special offer on amazon so I have stocked up but hopefully I won't need them all. 🤞🏻

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 21:14

Surrey you find yourself here @FlapJackered. The ladies here are very supportive.

@Frillyfarmer I'm tempted to test because we've both been given antibiotics by the urologist following our appointment today and of course shouldn't take if pregnant. DH said though to just wait until the weekend for AF to arrive so we're 100% sure I'm not pregnant. I'm trying to resist the FRER until Saturday. Maybe Sunday.

@Russkispy that's lovely news. Fx for the next 33 weeks!

@moonpeace this could be your month. Fx you get a BFP.

@Lilimum6 hopefully it is just unlucky timing. Tell him that DTD could help as a painkiller - pure ecstasy.

Hmmmm, I really want to POAS!

Frillyfarmer · 16/04/2019 21:46

@InDreamland are they precautionary rather than to treat a definite infection? Definitely wait for AF but I'd test at the weekend as well. I'm trying my hardest to hold out until Friday, luckily early start tomorrow and two ridiculously busy days in the office ahead of me so fingers crossed I can distract myself!

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 22:04

@Frillyfarmer they're to treat a definite infection. It's symptom-less but detected in DH's tests. Hopefully you can be distracted enough. So tempted to do a FRER now.

Frillyfarmer · 16/04/2019 22:18

In that case could you call your GP to discuss taking them whilst TTC, just so you're not leaving the infection untreated? If I had a FRER I'd be so tempted tomorrow at 10DPO but they're arriving by prime on Thursday because I know how weak willed I am 😂

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 22:35

The antibiotics were prescribed by DH's private urologist rather than our GP. Given we've both got to take them and lively we've had it for years a few days won't hurt to wait until AF shows. I have 5 FRERs and a CB digital in a drawer!

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 22:59

Well after a 5 hour hold I resisted the temptation to POAS. No point in testing early as I only end up disappointed and annoyed with myself for pissing away money 🚽. Forget burning money on bonfire night! 🔥🎆

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 23:33

Thanks @moonpeace. Of course I'm symptom spotting like mad now. Feeling nauseous and light headed on the tube, pulling and fluttering in the lower abdomen, are my boobs really feeling a little tender? Thing is knowing what I know from the recent tests it's very very unlikely I'm pregnant and even if I was then it's very likely we'd be looking at mc #3.

Littlelea · 16/04/2019 23:59

Hi, hope it's okay i join? Currently having a furious day following recent mc and trying to let go somehow. Im 33 with a 2 yr old and been ttc since june last year. 2 mc at 5weeks and then my 3rd at 22 weeks. Waiting impatiently for apt with test results etc. Trying to arrange a proper goodbye has me confused and beyond irritated...
