TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@Rosie2531 just okayed with it either the brightness and a filter and can deffo deffo see it

I think I really don't have a knack for this cos I deffo do not see any glimpse of a 2nd line on Rosie's test? 😔

I've called the doctor this morning and they're going to call me back. Hopefully I'll get a blood test! 🙄😂

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Almost three weeks off Cerazette now and no bleed, nothing. I'm not feeling too impatient right now as not TTC until end of June (though hoping to change his mind ) so time for things to settle down. We have had unprotected sex twice in those three weeks though so you never know.

I'm still waiting on the doctor calling back 🙄 Really annoying as I'm on all day today so don't really have time to speak with them other than just now.

I'm feeling god awful today though. Think I'm getting a cold too.

@Rosie2531 ah how annoying! I'm pretty sure a cold is an early sign too!

@Robbo93 how many days post ovulation are you now? I'm feeling like I'm going to have AF but hoping it's just ovulation 😩

He called back whilst I was on lunch duty 😂🤦‍♀️ Wasn't my normal doctor and left a very vague voicemail. I won't get a chance tomorrow so will just need to wait till Wednesday and take another test.

I'm refusing to do cheap tests again though as the difference is crazy! Frers have been blank until Saturday and today. Those cheap strips have shown evap lines with colour for weeks!!

Oh ffs how typical. Yeah scrap the cheapies, try a clear blue early one and see what that's like! They're all so different 😩
Well I'm 2 days post ovulation and feel like my boobs may drop off and my womb will fall out soooo that's fab

I've got another frer to take :) I'll wait till Wednesday morning though. So hopeful that it's a proper dark line 🤦‍♀️ I know hcg doubles every day so it should be if this one is a positive. We go on holiday and it's my birthday this weekend (on Mother's Day 🙄!) Need to know before then haha 😂

I've just taken a pregnancy test because this feeling isn't normal, I've never felt like this and I'm starting to wonder if my AF was actually an AF... I don't know if I can see the faintest line or not? Again it's a cheapie tho! I'll attach it.

I wouldn't trust a cheapy unless it was bright red and the same as the control line! They're too unreliable. Literally every single one I've taken has looked positive. They're really cruel!

I'll need to know by then! 😂 will probably end up having to POAS on my birthday too!! 😂😂🤦‍♀️

@xoxhayleyxox @rosie2531 I done a cheap test today as I’m out a fortune on them, I’m nearly sure I seen a very faint line there. Afraid to get excited or tell my other half don’t want to get his hopes up. Done a clear blue on Saturday and not pregnant but I’m sure there was a faint line today. Possible chance I conceived was the 16th

@Byrne123 did you do a clearblue digital or just a normal one? I know digitals require higher hcg levels!

I'm on CD24 and an estimated 3DPO. Boobs are a little tender, I've had lower back ache for a couple of days and today I've had little twinges on one side of my uterus. It's way too early so I'm guess I'm just noticing everything my body does in the hope it will be pregnancy. I stuck a finger up earlier and can only describe it as milk looking when I pulled it out, wasn't a lotion texture tho, was still too wet to be that

So confused and impatient!!

@xoxhayleyxox I done a digital one on Saturday, last week i was having tingles in my lower stomach and headaches but I’ve been fine since Friday night. Can’t believe I’m riding all my hope on a fortune teller and faint line 😢

@Robbo93 nope I don't think you are, I think I'm just going crazy if I'm honest!! I just don't feel right so thought I'd try one. My boobs have the biggest dark veins all in them too and they feel like they've grown 79 cup sizes. My back too has been really bad, toilet troubles too and trapped wind like no ones pissing business. If this is ovulation every month then I'm going back on the pill ffs! 😂😂

@Byrne123 hun we're all bloody hanging onto that one faint stupid line. Try not to work yourself up. It's probably still too early to be able to tell an honestly digitalis need much higher levels xx

@xoxhayleyxox I didn’t think it would be possible to conceive so late in the month but here’s hoping, my AF is one week late today

@Robbo93 nope not anymore! I'm now convincing myself I ovulated when I first came off the pill and when we BD I bled 10/11 days after but super light! I honestly don't know what's going on! Gonna take a clearblue early test as I can't grab a frer for a couple of days

@xoxhayleyxox yeah deffo as the lines you saw on the OPK's may have been finding hcg instead!! X

I was on it for 2 years, I came off it in November and didn't have a period for 3 months. After 3 months of no periods, we started trying even and I fell pregnant straight away. Never had a period before so couldn't date pregnancy for ages! Good luck x

So out of morbid fascination I just took an IC and that stupid line still comes up even after AF. What a load of crap. I bet lots of women have had their hearts broken by them
