TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

Hey @Byrne123 ☺️ I'd say there's deffo a chance you could be pregnant. Have you tried any of the early detection pregnancy tests like first response?

@xoxhayleyxox Just keep DTD and hope for the best! 😂🤞Try not get too stressed about it and enjoy your day out.

My frers have arrived and I don't know whether to take one tonight or just wait another few days and just try to forget about it all for a while.

@Byrne123 It can take a while for your cycle to regulate. There's a chance you could be pregnant (late ovulation etc) or it could just be your cycle regulating. We're all in a similar boat due to the pill 🤦‍♀️ it's very frustrating and confusing!

The beer definitely is not 'TTC friendly' but fuck it 😂
@Rosie2531 when did you last take one? Try hold out as long as you can! But... we all know every hour is a struggle 😂

This fortune teller has really got my hopes up she was pretty adamant that I am and told me to txt her when I found out , I txted to say I got negative tests she told me I am pregnant and give it time

@xoxhayleyxox That is fabulous! 😂 sunshine to boot too! Rain is lashing down here. My OH is actually angling to go to the pub for the football! 🙄😂 drink till it's pink! 😂

I took one yesterday morning so probably shouldn't piss away £5 today 😂 we go on holiday next weekend so would like to know by then.

@Rosie2531 ah it's lovely and sunny here! On our way back home now but may just pick up some more beer as I've just done my first wee in 6 days without dipsticking it 😂

@Rosie2531 I feel like you're getting way too many symptoms for it to be anything else. Maybe you should try testing, idk! 😩 let's try look at it rationally... when's the last time you BD BEFORE you started getting symptoms? Count like 10 days max before symptoms started and then work out how long it's been. Because implantation takes about 10 days and then you have a missed period at 14 days. So count 2 weeks after from when you think your symptoms started! Does that even make sense?

@Byrne123 it's really hard to say! Like I said to Rosie, count 2 weeks from when you last baby danced, last case scenario you conceived last time you BD. Do you have any symptoms of pregnancy?

@Rosie2531 you sure have some very promising symptoms.. so strange you're not testing positive! Maybe you had a dodgy pack of tests? 😂

Hubbys been out with his mate today and just come home and told me they're 10 weeks pregnant.. And my mate is 8 weeks pregnant.

If I don't fall pregnant within the next couple of months then is going to be crippling 😭

@xoxhayleyxox Before I stopped taking my pill I missed quite a few but could not tell you what dates.
We did the pull out 'method' for a week or two then just started having BD from the 4th of March, then the 5th... then every 2/3 days since 🙄

I woke up on the 4th of March during the night with really weird pains in my stomach so keep thinking these might have been implantation pains now - but I don't know if that is stupid.

The 4th is also the date I thought I had positive tests though - but turned out to be really bad evaps with colour in.

Had sore boobs all that week, started feeling really sick for the past two weeks with random stomach cramps. My stomach feels like it has food poisoning at points (like the stretchy, right pains before you vomit) but I've only actually been sick once.

So I have no clue and I'm very confused 🙄😂 I think the cheap tests have very bad evaps to begin with but now the line looks thick like a 'proper' line.

Does that make sense?

Earlier in the week I was very moody with Strange pains in my lower stomach but I’ve been fine this past 2 days

Oh, and I think I had my withdrawal bleed on the 17th/18th of Feb 🤔

@Rosie2531 mate I literally dunno what's going on with ya... take a frer tomorrow morning first thing, send a pic and let's have a look! Reassess the situation!

@Byrne123 It's really hard to say if you are or not, pregnancy symptoms can sometimes be super similar to period/ovulation symptoms!

@Comps83 A week on Wednesday but then I remembered that I'm actually on holiday 🙄 so I'll need to reschedule!

@xoxhayleyxox Yeah, I think I'm broken for sure! 😂 there's always the chance that my previous symptoms were ovulation symptoms. I keep having a weird metallic taste in my mouth which has been on and off since Wednesday. I wish I was bloody making it up too! I'm just so confused.

@Rosie2531 all I know is that ovulation symptoms are horrific for me. My boobs feel like they're gonna drop off and I feel like if I stuck a pin in my stomach I'd explode.. 😂😩 try hold out as long as you can then do a test!

My boobs don't really hurt at all just now 🤔 but they were sore two weeks ago.

I randomly have sore teeth and jawline but that's not related at all! 😂 perhaps I'm just falling apart! I've been feeling really bloated for the past week.

Just came across this but wanted to say that I was on cerazette for years, came off it, didn't have a bleed but conceived my son about 2 months later x

Well, the line's getting darker! 🙄 Still a squinter but there's no denying that I can see a pink line showing on the test. I wish my phone didn't have such a shit camera though! 🤦‍♀️

@Rosie2531 yep, can deffo see it!! I know cameras NEVER pick up the line you can see! It was like that when my OPK were really faint, felt like a crazy woman saying there's deffo a line but not being able to show it on camera! Ahh I'm excited for you!! X
