TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@Rosie2531 secret is safe with me! 🤫😋 I'm driving my OH crazy buying ovulation strips cause I'm doing about 729 a day! 😂

I think I've ovulated, not too sure tho as I haven't really had any symptoms or a change in CM - so I'm gonna assume I'm in the 2ww. Fingers crossed!
Stopped cerazette in January - noticed first positive LH surge in March (after 2 monthly bleeds)

@Robbo93 when do you think you ovulated? Or when's your next AF due? Dreaded 2WW, it's all about bloody waiting isn't it! 😂 Good going though!! My OPK started raising today and I'm due to ovulate tomorrow/Monday so I'm just keeping an eye. Praying I ovulate this month!! I have some signs like bloating and sore boobs so fingers crossed xx

@xoxhayleyxox I'm just going by my positive OPK which was Thursday (so an estimated ovulation of yesterday?) not to sure when AF is due as didn't have LH surge until day 20 and my lady cycle was 26 days

Does anybody find it crazy just how precise pregnancy actually is? Growing up it was always, 'don't have sex, you'll get pregnant!'

When in reality things need to be aligned pretty perfectly.

@Rosie2531 haha! This was our discussion at work the other day! Until I came off the pill I had no idea you ovulated once a month yada yada yada! I was always under the assumption unprotected sex led to pregnancy

I was literally saying this yesterday... how do people 'accidentally' get pregnant! No such luck over here! 😂 I've just got this OPK, do you think I'll ovulate tomorrow @Robbo93 or am I just dreaming? 😩

Well, going by my OPK's when I got my 'surge' on the clearblue digital... they weren't the same colour or intensity at all...

I'm a teacher and didn't realise! 😂 Have been giving PSHE lessons along the lines of, 'don't have unprotected sex or else you'll end up pregnant, riddled AND DIE...' 😂🤦‍♀️

How the hell do people manage to have one night stands and end up accidentally pregnant from one time? The odds are crazy! Might be getting all philosophical but clearly when it happens, it's meant to be!

@Robbo93 how bizarre is that!! I think I'm just gonna BD tonight then test again tomorrow and go from there! 😂
Hahaha love that @Rosie2531 - pretty much what I was taught too!! Can't believe it's taken me to nearly 25 to realise that in fact it is not the pissing case! My OH said 'god you really have been doing your research into this haven't you?!'... I'm a crazy woman with an OPK book and prit stick and pens.

@xoxhayleyxox Same here haha! I tried to explain ovulation to my DP and I've never seen him so confused! 😂 He just said something to the effect of, 'We'll just keep having sex every other day.' And that was that! 😂🤦‍♀️

@Rosie2531 mines buzzing that we get to BD more than once a week! 😂 they're so easily pleased aren't they. If only they understood our stresses 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Deffo don’t think I just had AF. It only lasted 3 days. I’d usually be on for a week. FFS

@Comps83 At least that's positive and you can count it as af. My af generally only lasts 3-4 days max in a cycle. Maybe grab some ovulation strips and you'll be able to see if you ovulate this month?

Ok it's totally driving me fuc**ng mental and I'm about to bin the lot of it because this morning it's gone down again and I dunno if I even ovulated or not. Contemplating buying the clearblue digital ovulation tests but haven't told my boyfriend yet about this part...😂 sick of reading poxy coloured lines that do whatever the fk they want!

@xoxhayleyxox your LH surge drops down before ovulation, if you tested positive yesterday it's like your ovulating now or very soon x

@Robbo93 just not sure I actually got a 100% positive yesterday 😩 probably just overthinking though! We BD last night and will next two days and three hope for the best! Gonna head out now and have a nice day, stop obsessing over it! Xx

I’ve seen this is an active thread and need some help. I came off my pill 6 weeks ago to TTC (trying to conceive) , I had a period when I came off it. I am now 5 days late and have had 3 negative tests. Can someone tell me is there any possible chance I can still be pregnant, I’m hoping I ovulated late in the month and it’s too early to tell. I also seen a fortune teller last week and she was adamant that I’m pregnant. ( I know this is probably nonsense)
