TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

Every cloud...@Roo3125 I thought the same as I had a bottomless brunch booked in this weekend just gone, with people I'd not seen in well over a decade so I was actually glad I could enjoy it!

Glow has just told me this is a positive test 🤔 it ties in well with my symptoms I suppose & it was only on a 2hr hold.. just thought it'd be darker x

@Robbo93 The line looks dark but I'd do another to see as the line looks a bit broken.

Can feel af making her way. Stomach cramps are seriously bad 😔 although, if she comes tomorrow I'll have had a 27 day cycle 🤔 I did ovulate on day 13 though. Not sure if that's normal or not?

Well, after the really big cramps last night, still not af (due tomorrow). Took an ic and I swear there's a second line there. Can anyone else see this?

Had serious cramps last night but didn't amount to anything.

My boobs are quite sore today. Just don't want to get my hopes up haha!

I can't see anything @Roo3125 but I don't have a knack for seeing these lines :( FRER would be your best bet.

My OPK was completely negative this morning, no 2nd line at all... will do another this evening but dunno what's going on lol

Are you using the strips @Robbo93? If so, you're not meant to do them in the morning, they are meant to be used in the afternoon. I do my strips mid-afternoon and early evening. The mid-afternoon one always seems to be darker.

I also use the ClearBlue advanced, and they are meant to be used with FMU. I am on CD13 and third day of flashing smiley. Based on last month Glow predicts OV Friday so will have to wait and see but busy DTD anyhow.

Also temping this month, just lost an hour comparing my charts to other peoples on Fertility Friend as I thought that mine looked a bit off but it seems okay.

@Roo3125 I can just about see a faint line. Get a FRER!

@tisonlymeagain yeah, I usually have a faint line in the morning (instructions say can test anytime of day) but zilch this morning.

Will test again later to see if there is any change.
I'm thinking of getting the clearblue advanced next cycle (if I'm not lucky this time) but they are so pricy to just pee away 😭

I've had some very weird cramps on and off. Last night was very intense then I had some earlier (weirdly when I really needed a pee). I'm hoping they're not af cramps though! 🤞

I'm 14dpo today and af is due tomorrow.

Anddd af just reared her ugly head 😔 those ics are cruel as there was definitely a line. Oh well, at least I know that my cycles are back to normal so quickly after coming off the pill and that horrible last cycle!

@Robbo93 I'm convincing myself that it's a good thing as the closer to Easter my due date is, the longer my oh will get for pat leave.

Can go out and enjoy my hen do now too. Just hope I don't have to do many more months of this :(

Peak solid smiley on my ClearBlue this morning which has put OV as tomorrow, just one day earlier than predicted. DTD for the past two days and will get on it tonight and tomorrow and then I guess it's onto the 2WW

CD15 and OV day today according to Glow, had my peak on Clearblue yesterday and positive cheapy strips yesterday, did a strip first thing this morning and that was positive too. We've DTD CD11, 13, 14, and already today ha so I guess that's as good as can do and now on to the 2WW. Determined not to endlessly symptom spot or test too early.

Have been temping this month too so interested to see if that actually confirms ovulation, it should do tomorrow or Saturday if I take my temperature consistently!

How is everyone else?

@tisonlymeagain I'm very close to you this cycle! I got my positive opk Tuesday, still had a line yesterday but was getting fainter. Had really painful cramps on left side yesterday evening and felt really sick (hoping it's my hormone Lh spike (first one I'll have had in at least 12 years) and not the sickness bug going around the office!) also had ewcm for nearly a week before and tues and yesterday it was there when I wiped as well. (Sorry tmi)

Dtd every day and twice on Tuesday! Hoping for the best although don't want to get my hopes up!

I've been trying to temp as well and this morning it was only slightly higher than yesterday's but I had broken sleep and woke up briefly about half hour before I temped so that could have affected it!

Let me know how your temping goes :)

I'm with you on trying not to symptom spot. We can do it!

Not sure how my temping is working out, I have been trying to be as accurate as possible but sometimes I wake up at odd times for a wee which messes it up. It did go down and is starting to climb so if it climbs for the next two days it should show I ovulated. I'll attach a pic in a minute.

Here's my chart - it's a little all over the place but I found it reassuring comparing with other people's on Fertility Friend as you can see ones that had a pattern like yours and whether they resulted in pregnancy or not .

Here's mine! The two drops just be O should be discounted as I'd woke up before and they were low. Same this morning and it was 'normal' so hoping it was raised but my waking caused it to drop. Hopefully will see tomorrow.

Hoping with the positive opk, ewcm and cramps I have o'd. Can you o without having the temp spike?
