TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

@JD154 Hey! Love the friends reference, haha! I can fall asleep but then keep waking up super early and can't fall back asleep! 🤦‍♀️ that's three mornings in a row that I've been up at 5am!

So, I caved and did an ic (as my new frers haven't arrived yet! 🙄) and omg, there's definitely a line! 🤞💕 My mouth has been super dry and I just can't sleep properly. Now my boobs proper hurt and the burping too!

@Roo3125 I've just managed to find my cheap test the day before I got my BFP on my FRER! Looks sooo similar

@xoxhayleyxox Omg, thanks for sharing that! I'm quite excited now! 🤦‍♀️😂 Although, I feel like shit! 🤢 it came up pretty much straight away too. I'm really hoping that the frers come today and I can use one tomorrow. They weren't on Prime for some reason! 🤔

@Roo3125 so exciting! Maybe wait till tomorrow to try a FRER (if they come) as i done one same day as I got that faint line and nothing on a FRER, but the next day I got my BFP. But I agree with you there's definitely something there and your symptoms are there too so hopefully! God knows you deserve it!
I'm having the WEIRDEST dreams at the moment. Like so odd and vivid and I wake up like REALLY?! I dreamt that?! 😂 hooding morning sickness settles soon too, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow.

@xoxhayleyxox I'll probably wait till Friday or Saturday for the frers and maybe just use up the other cheap tests and see if the lines are getting darker with those!

I cannot shift this dry mouth. It's driving me insane! I'm having to sit and sip orange juice all the time to try and get rid of it but nothing is working! 🤦‍♀️

I've heard that vivid dreams are a thing. My friend has that too just now and she's around the same as you!

@Roo3125 yeah that sounds like a good plan.
Honestly if you are pregnant then the thirst doesn't get any better 😂 and then the wee's set in! Constant cycle of needing a drink but being about to piss yourself.

Yeah my friend said she had really weird vivid dreams when she was pregnant too, I've heard it's a thing. I'm struggling waiting for my 12 (13) week scan, 4 weeks away and just seems soooo long away. I go away on the 28th so at least that's a week I'll be busy but considering whether to have an early scan in about a week or not? Might cause me more worry 😩

@xoxhayleyxox I honestly can't shift this! I've drank a whole carton of orange juice already today (which is not like me at all) and my mouth is still like the desert! I'm exhausted now too!

I'd probably be tempted to get an early scan but I'm really impatient haha!

I'm getting dull cramps in my stomach and lower back, hopefully a sign af is gonna show I usually get these then a couple days later af shows

@roo3125 my first faint line looked very similar to yours then 2 days later was BFP, exciting! I also had really vivid dreams and peed all the time!

OH has treated me to a last min break in the sun and feeling so much better. Back onto tracking next month I think xx

Will catch up on everyone's news in a minute but just quickly... CD8 today and decided to start testing with cheapie OPKs. I ovulated CD16 last cycle and nothing showed up on OPKs at all until CD13 and when they did, they looked just like this. Do you think I am going to ovulate early? Based on cycles it's not predicted for another 8 days

So I came off the pill sat 6th April had a 5 day long withdrawal bleed from tuesday 9th which was exactly like my periods were, only been on the pill just over a year. I tested mon bfn and decided to test again tonight (I know it should be the morning) and got this.... I see a line but don’t know if I’m trying to convince myself

@amiejb25 That's lovely that you've had a chance to get away and have a nice break. Hope you're doing good! I'm hoping that I'll have my BFP in a few days! 🤞

@tisonlymeagain Mine always kind of look like that. I'd just keep testing twice a day just to make sure!

I'm not sure when to poas again 🤔 I had heartburn earlier and I'm still feeling terrible! The frers arrived today whilst I was at work!

I've just been woken up feeling crazy sick and thrown up. This better not become a thing 😩

Caved and did a frer at 5am (still cannot sleep properly). I'm not sure if my urine will have been as strong as it should be 5 days before af 🙄 but I can see something peering out at me!

Congratulations @emma8t4 that's a definite BFP! @Roo3125 hard to resist the temptation to constantly POAS! Hopefully a couple more days will give you a lovely clear line :)

Well I've just done an IC n it was bfn, af due tomorrow so I think I'm out this cycle. No symptoms really either, it's only my first cycle off the pill so not too disappointed. I can't see anything on there Roo, maybe try again in a couple of days x

@JD154Sorry to hear about your BFN but you sound very positive. A BFN ins’t unusual before AF is due though so fingers crossed, and if not, good luck for next cycle!

As for me, tested with a ClearBlue OPK this morning and it was low, I’m going to test twice a day now. Once in the morning with the CB and then later in the day with the IC OPK. OV might come earlier this month and I don’t want to miss it, even if our chances might be lower due to DP’s ailment. Predicted OV in 7 days so DTD has started in earnest!

Thanks everyone, I bought 2 more FRER and 2 more Clearblue on the way to work, so i'll let you know how I get on. I did a clear blue digital one this morning and it was Not Pregnant, so now im worrying that the FRER one is wrong.

@JD154 I only got my faint line at 2 days overdue, with my first I only got a positive 4 days after my period was due so you're not out yet. I've not got any real symptoms either other than those that could be explained by AF, tender boobs, spotty. etc

@Roo3125 when are you testing again?

@emma8t4 Super exciting for you! I'll probably test again on Sunday or Monday. Although, I'll probably do the cheap strip tests too haha!
