TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

Good news ladies!! HCG levels have not only doubled but soared!! I needed them to be 2,300 and they're 2,800 which is fab 🥰 they've also booked me in for another early scan on Wednesday so I get to see baby bean and make sure they're growing well just to double make sure.

My OPK testing isn't going so well, totally forget yesterday, haha but I'm still on CD09 today so not too worried.

Oh and I meant to add - I am very confused by hormones right now. I'm having a breakout on my chin which normally happens about a week before AF Everything feels a bit out of sync.

Just googled it to make myself feel better and I am going with this explanation

“Many adult women get breakouts around the time of ovulation, typically a couple weeks before the start of their period and these tend to be localised to the area around the sides of the chin.

“These breakouts are most likely due to the surge in luteinizing hormone [a hormone that helps the function of your reproductive system] that is seen at this time. You may notice that the breakouts occur on opposite sides of the chin each month in unison with the particular ovary that happens to be ovulating.”

@tisonlymeagain ah trust me I had a break out when ovulating, when my AF was nearly due AND now I'm pregnant! There always seems to be a hormone responsible for a bloody breakout 😂

Let me tell you one thing, don't expect to be glowing and escape them during pregnancy. When I was pregnant with DD I was spotty all over!

God, yes. I was a spotty, greasy, sweaty mess during pregnancy. Not quite what I'd call 'glowing'.

I'm so pissed off. The lab haven't received my sample and it appears to have been lost. How can you lose a pot of piss in the post?! 😤🤦‍♀️ If I didn't laugh, I'd cry. Have to do another one on Monday and bring it in when they are open again.

@xoxhayleyxox I honestly wish I was kidding. Annoying thing is that they wouldn't give me my results earlier because it 'wasn't results giving time' but if they had just looked I could have put another sample in today. So fed up now! 😔

Bet you and your OH are delighted! It'll be nice to have another scan too and get to see baby again :)

The only saving grace is that if those OPKs were positive for ovulation last week, I would have ovulated Weds/Thurs morning and DTD a LOT the days previous and on those dates. So if this next test is Monday's FMU and I wasn't already pregnant, there's still a chance that I might be from last week. Does that make sense? Or am I just rambling into an even more confused state... 🤔😂

I'm still feeling shit, sore head, sore boobs, sick etc. I really don't know what's going on with my body.

Ugh @Rosie2531 how annoying! So frustrating. On the positive side, no sign of AF still so you're still in the game. Let's hope you can get some answers next week!

I didn’t want to say on here but as there’s only a few of you girls I will, I’m a midwife so if you need anything I’m here ☺️ That’s what is making it so stressful for me as I have to be around pregnant women and babies everyday 😞

@itsonlymegan sometimes get random break outs mid cycle too!

No strong/convincing OPKs yet and having random spotting every now and again and just feeling generally like it’s never going to happen!! X

@amiejb25 Your secret is safe with us, haha! That must be extra stressful for you though. I can imagine it being difficult working with babies all day, especially with some circumstances too. I work with teenagers, so they just put me off! 🙄😂

Got another pee pot so will drop that in on Monday and hope for the best. Will try and hold out till Wednesday to do another test at home as that'll probably be when the doctors results are in I would guess!

Antione else getting frustrated with not being able to make plans? I’ve had to turn down a few weekends away in case I lose hundreds of £ if not able to go later in the year and just had a message from a friend begging us to come stay with them but if I’m pregnant by then I’d have to tell them as they’d totally know something was up if I want drinking (and I really don’t want to telling anyone til 3 months)

@xoxhayleyxox I have no idea and that's the biggest problem! I don't understand why I wouldn't get a proper line if I were 6 weeks.

I've not had any sign of bleeding since the week between 17th-24th of Feb (around 2-3 days within that week but can't remember exactly when).

I've had all these faint lines that definitely exist but also no proper, in your face clear answers.

Those ovulation tests looked positive on the 3rd, but I had faint lines afterwards on pregnancy tests 🤔 🤷‍♀️ Absolute mind melt!

I'm feeling extra horrific today though. Haven't felt this bad I don't think 🤢

@Comps83 Definitely! I've had similar. Had to pay a deposit on a hen do that I - hopefully - won't be able to drink at. We had the chance to go away with family in October but can't run the risk of losing money and not being able to go!

@Comps83 yep, it's my brothers wedding In santorini next month and I'm soooo worried as I've already had to miss out on the hen do this weekend because of the scare. Fingers crossed everything is ok and I can go, can't imagine missing the wedding!

@Rosie2531 I'm not surprised you're so confused 😩 I'd have thought you'd deffo be showing a stronger line. Maybe you should try a digital? My FRER was a faint line but I came up with a positive and weeks on a digital!

I'm not sure I want to do a digital yet as they're super expensive haha! 😂 that being said, I should probably have taken shares out on frer as I've bought so many! 🙄😂

This might also be absolutely ridiculous, but one of my dogs won't leave my side. Totally normal for my other dog, who's joined at my hip like Velcro. But my girl dog doesn't normally bother with sitting on/next to me and she honestly hasn't left me alone for the past day 🤔 She even slept right next to me all night which is highly unusual! 😂
