TTC after coming off Cerazette

Hi everyone!

Me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby. I’ve been on Cerazette for about 8 years with one break a few years back. I stopped taking the mini pill 16 days ago and still no bleed. Usually if I miss 1 day I’ll bleed the following week. I’ve taken a test which came back negative but wondering if it’s too early?
Can anyone else share their experience with coming off cerazette and their first bleed and/or conception please?! I’m desperate to get pregnant!

CD10 for me. Negative OPK just now. Hoping that something will occur towards the end of next week, fingers crossed. I’ve got a real downer about it today, I just feel like it won’t happen for us.

@Comps83 I know what you mean. It’s my 40th this year and I’m all over the place with it. Was planning a spa weekend with friends but no point booking anything because if I DO get pregnant then I wouldn’t be able to do much, but can’t explain that to friends either. It's so hard, we both said we wanted to be relaxed and not put our lives on hold for TTC but in the same way it's too hard to make plans.

@Rosie2531 I know you don’t want to spend out on a digital but honestly I would. I said before I never got a positive with a FR in my first pregnancy and I did it several times.

Yeah I can't wait for Santorini, should be amazing. I have my 12 week scan the day after I'm home as well so can announce shortly after! Not sure how I'm going to hide a 3 month bump in a bikini, mind! 🤰🏽😂

@tisonlymeagain stay strong with the OPKs, mine went from nothing to positive within hours, you're so close to it happening now, you got it!!
I'm feeling really dizzy again today, just having a lazy day but feel like I've been on the town! Feel really hungover and just ick really. Just counting down the days until Wednesday for my early scan, hoping that we can see baby beans heartbeat 🤞🏽❤️

@tisonlymeagain I keep remembering that you said that, haha! I need to take that advice. At least with it being tested by the lab they should be able to tell me. I've got one frer left which I'll do on Monday and then I'll grab the clearblue set that had the digital in it I think :)

@xoxhayleyxox Just act really offended if anybody says anything! 😂 That'll be my plan for kids in work. They're so cheeky and forward! 😂 You can have some good fun with it. I don't know if I'm stupid to believe that she knows, but I'm taking it as a positive sign haha!

Feeling so grumpy and my boobs are fucking killing me this evening! I don't normally have sore boobs with af, so hoping it's a good sign but could also be sign of af - so who knows! 😂

@Rosie2531 my dog is a maniac and he's so gentle with me recently! Maaaaaate my boobs are crazy. I've had to go out and buy like super soft non wired bras because they're just so painful and have grown crazy amounts already! 😂😩

CD11 for me, I have no idea how long this cycle might be so to be safe I am going on the assumption that OV might happen this week. Not a hint showing on OPKs but we are DTD regularly (we both have high sexual drives ) so I'm not worried about missing it would just be nice to know if it's happened!

Just going off the FLO app and tbf I’m still testing v early maybe 9 or 10 DPO so I’m being silly really . It reckons af will be here Wednesday but I think it will be later

@tisonlymeagain I'd start testing twice a day from CD11, mine were always stronger in late evening! And you don't wanna miss it, it's coming!!! Hang in there x

@Comps83 try not to fret, you're still in the game! I found out 9/10DPO but I was suuuuper early to find out. Almost wish I hadn't known so early either as just means longer to wait until you know baby's safer!! X

It was only a few years ago that folk didn't know till their second missed period! Plus, every pregnancy and woman is different. Hcg levels can be different too.

That's what I'm telling myself anyways 🙄😂

On a side note, has anyone looked through the 'baby names' forum on here? The names are so middle class it's hilarious! 😂 Keeping me going! 😂

Omg no I've not looked but will look now. Went out and bought the CUTEST babygrows earlier, couldn't resist them. We also have our names for both boy & girl! So exciting

@Rosie2531 my brother and sis in law bought us the cutest dungaree set when they found out I was pregnant so I just could help but add to the small collection today! Yeah we will, but I'm going to have a private scan that will sort us out a gender reveal cannon without telling us. They write it down in an envelope and then when I go for my NHS scan I'm going to ask them to just confirm what's written down and then we're doing a gender reveal where everyone including us will find out! So exciting, won't be until August though but hopefully it'll fly round
