Aw @BooseysMom - didn't mean to make you cry! 😘 AF always makes me an emotional wreck too tho, so I understand!
@Realitysucks - good to hear from you. I KNOW it's hard to hear, but it does only take 1... so you never know. If your clinic are like mine then they will probably put the embryo back in on day 2 if there's only 1 as the best place for it is your womb.
My DH was the optimistic one out of both of us and sometimes I've wanted to slap him for it, but tbh I think one of us needed to be more focused on the hope and I couldn't be, so I think while it's frustrating, it's a good thing really? Rest up, drink lots and good luck for the call tomorrow x

Realitysucks · 14/03/2019 20:50

@Hobbes39 yes they are saying day 2 transfer so Saturday as long as little egg lasts that long. I’m trying to be positive 🙄!

bitheby · 14/03/2019 21:39

So sorry Sam.

Rose68 · 14/03/2019 21:44

@Reality I’m keeping everything crossed for you!

@Samk79 I’m so sorry, it hurts like hell, I hope you are holding up okay.

Samk79 · 14/03/2019 21:53

Rose68
Thank you, I feel devastated, I was looking forward to my 12 week scan next week

Hobbes39 · 14/03/2019 22:02

Oh @Samk79 - I'm so sorry. It's so unfair. I've been there, and it hurts like hell. Be kind to yourself...
do you know what you will do? Are you waiting it out or going to go for medical / surgical management?
While I know you won't feel it now, you will recover xx

@hobbes39
I have to go back for repeat bloods Saturday and they will discuss further options then. I know lots of ladies go through this but it has devastated me

Hobbes39 · 14/03/2019 22:29

@Samk79 - it is devastating. I think missed miscarriages are extra cruel as they come as such a shock.
How did you find out? DS you have an earlier scan due to worries or was it routine? X

OP posts:
Hobbes39 · 14/03/2019 22:29

Did, not DS

Samk79 · 15/03/2019 04:33

@Hobbes39
I had a scan st Epu due to light bleeding. I think it's worse as I was almost at the 12 week mark. The cruel thing is I still have pg symptoms, I'm really struggling to cope x

Cleozeta · 15/03/2019 07:42

Sam - sorry to hear you are going through this. It happened to me too last year. Hugs

Samk79 · 15/03/2019 07:57

@Cleozeta
Thank you. I only found out yesterday so still early days. I'm worried my age is against me

Realitysucks · 15/03/2019 08:21

@Samk79 I am sorry, I know many of us have been where you are and it’s such an emotional time. You have lots of support here x x

Hobbes39 · 15/03/2019 08:42

@Samk79 - it's totally normal to feel how you are - it really is cruel and the limbo land you are in where you are still pregnant but know it's not good is just so awful, I'm so sorry.
While I'm not out the woods yet, you are younger than I was with my first MMC and hopefully it will allcome
Good for us both in the end xx

Realitysucks · 15/03/2019 11:14

BooseysMom · 15/03/2019 11:29

Hobbes.. that's ok. I'm ok really. My colleague has announced she's 6 wks preg and today a mum at the school gates showed me her 7 wk old baby girl..but no, honestly I'm fine!! Honestly I am !! Hmm

Reality.. What fantastic news.. am stoked for you! Good luck for the next step x

@Samk79...welcome and so very sorry about your mmc. If it's any help I was a couple months shy of 41 when i had DS. I had had 2 mcs previous to this and we gave up then there he was ..un-noticed up to 12 wks would you believe!!
Look after yourself and hope you feel better soon x

littlemimosa · 15/03/2019 11:30

Reality - such great news 😊

littlemimosa · 15/03/2019 11:33

Sam - welcome and I’m so sorry to hear about what’s happening. It’s heartbreaking. I had a missed miscarriage a few years ago in my thirties but have gone on to have another child. I doubt it’s age related. They are sadly just so common. I know that’s probably no consolation right now but I didn’t want you worrying about age on top of dealing with everything else.

Hobbes39 · 15/03/2019 11:36

@Realitysucks - I had 2 put back on my first round on day 2 and I did get pregnant but it was a chemical (but showed that I could get preg!)
The other rounds, this last (4th) one included I always had 2 put back on day 3 as I never had enough to risk going to day 5. People can and do get pregnant from day 2 transfers - the best place for your embryos is in you, so good luck! 🤞
