🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

Here's the new thread. This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

Welcome to any new ladies and sorry for your loss.

Let's have a roll call ladies

@Lilimum6 Wow! That is quick. Glad they are looking after you now x

frillyfarmer · 08/02/2019 20:04

@Lilimum6 great result, so pleased they're doing something about it.

I've got a follow up scan on 14th to confirm either early pregnancy or ectopic as my levels have risen again.

I've been spotting and cramping and to be honest I've got a very bad feeling about stuff. I've had 2 ultrasound since the start of this, but the more things progress the more I'm convinced it's an ectopic.

InDreamland · 08/02/2019 20:41

@Lilimum6 that is a really good email and a great response from them too. Glaf they're looking after you now x

InDreamland · 08/02/2019 20:56

@Dimblebimble I remember with my first pregnancy around 5 weeks (So before I knew I was actually pregnant) I had some strange CM that was brownish pink - I remember thinking AF was trying to start but it just wasn't and I was annoyed because I was so late. Hopefully it's just bean getting comfortable and it's like an implantation bleed.

@Catconfusion hope that even though you've had a loss you can still enjoy the honeymoon period. Being newly wed is so magical.

@KnitKitty hello! I have also been wondering how others have been that we've not seen here for a while. Have also been wondering how @boboelephant @Russkispy and @zarala are doing.

I'm on CD10, still flashing smiley this morning, I'll do another OPK before bed tonight. DH wouldn't BD lastnight because he thought it was too soon even though I had a flashing smiley yesterday morning ...... he thought it'd be a waste of his swimmers Angry

Hi everyone. Thanks for asking after me @Lilimum6 and @InDreamland. I've been trying to read back and catch up but my mind is not retaining the info very well to respond individually. I am chock full of hormones at the mo and it's making me a bit forgetful!

I am well into the swing of things with IVF. It has felt like ages as I started down regulation on the 11th Jan which was day 21 of my Dec AF. Jan AF finally arrived 2 weeks ago- a week late on the one cycle that I wanted it to arrive! I've done 11 days of injections and had my last scan at the clinic today. I've been given the go ahead to take the trigger shot tomorrow night and egg collection will be on Monday. All going well they'll transfer a fertilised embryo back next Saturday! At this stage everything is looking good and my follicles are growing well so fingers crossed that I'll finally, finally get my rainbow.

I'm sorry that I haven't replied to you all but I am sending you all lots of penguin hugs and wishing all the best for you.

InDreamland · 08/02/2019 21:59

Hi @boboelephant so lovely to hear things seem to be going well so far with IVF! Fx for you that this will be your rainbow! Hope all goes well with egg collection and the transfer x

@Boboelephant hi! So happy ivf starting well for you! Long may it last :)

@KnitKitty @Clumsykitten I just started accupuncture inspired by this group! She have me a bit of chat, stuck pins in me and left me to lie quietly for 10mins. Is that normal? Wasn't what I expected at all. I loved the reflexology so much because it was time to talk (to a fertility expert)as wel.

@jessabean was on the antenatal thread I joined in October - I think atl least 20weeks, happy and healthy ❤️ I hope @hayleyfx is doing well - think she popped up there briefly but I think had a loss. Hard to remember which threads! I was never comfy in my "July" group - slightly better in their loss off shoot but here is my home (hopefully a short tenancy on substantive grounds bit longer term on the relationships 🥰)

Newbie21 · 09/02/2019 19:28

@Boboelephant lovely to hear from you. Fingers crossed all goes well. Do keep us posted. Pleased to hear that all seems to be on track x

Will try and catch up on everyone over the weekend.

9dpo here - no symptoms whatsoever. Will test on Valentine's Day - if good news then :-) if not then a bottle of bubbly as a consolation - needs must! 🍾 🥂

frillyfarmer · 09/02/2019 19:40

I'm heavier than spotting, old brown blood. 111 have told me to call back if I have symptoms of internal bleeding, otherwise scan on Thursday 👌🏼👌🏼😩

At this point I'm fairly sure whatever the outcome, it won't be a healthy pregnancy and I'm having a glass of Macon to console myself - shoot me. Fuck me 2019 is kicking my arse!

Newbie21 · 09/02/2019 21:05

@frillyfarmer I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I understand that you are expecting the worst but there are ladies who have heavy bleeds and all is fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you x

frillyfarmer · 09/02/2019 22:06

@Newbie21 thanks. I think with everything else, it's most likely I'm having another ectopic now. The dates don't really add up for it to be anything else and not be seen on a scan. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had big bleeds with my DS so I'm not being dismissive, it's just the type of bleeding that's worrying me. Check up with OO tomorrow. X

Newbie21 · 09/02/2019 22:13

I'm so sorry @frillyfarmer I hope it's not another eptopic.

Lozboz22 · 10/02/2019 09:07

Hi ladies, can I please join? I have read the thread all the way through (couldn't sleep last night!) and you all seem like a great bunch.
My story is I'm 38 with a 4yo Dd , got pregnant first go with her, normal pregnancy, horrific birth which led me to vow never to have another and get rid of everything. The old biological clock started ticking pretty fast last year and hubby and I decided to go for it , so super excited but mega anxious. I then get a new job so have to hold off ttc for a couple of months then I end up really sick with severe pneumonia which put me out of action for months. Start ttc in November and get bfp on Xmas eve , so ecstatic for about 3 weeks and then the spotting starts mid Jan. Cut the story short had NMC at approx 7 weeks all clear at scan last week, bleeding stopped last week finally took a pg test on Friday which was negative. So straight back on it for us! Slightly nervous that we've left it too late so not hanging around. Taking pregnacare extra folic acid and CoQ10 after having read it starts with the egg. If you ladies haven't read it then definitely worth it.
Thanks for reading this massive ramble xx

Russkispy · 10/02/2019 12:05

@Lilimum6 and @InDreamland thanks for asking after me.
We TTC naturally this month and never had any symptoms while in 2ww. (AF or possible pregnancy symptoms), took a HPT this morning and it's BFN. I didn't track OV and no idea how many dpo I'm now. CD29 today and I'm sure it won't be BFP this cycle. Last cycle I had only 26 days. Anyway, just waiting for AF then starting injections for a fresh round of IVF. Will be flying home for EC and ET. Providing all going well.
Back to reflexology and acupuncture next week. And continue with all supplements
Hope all is well with you.

Lilimum6 · 10/02/2019 12:28

@Russkispy hi hun lovely to hear from you. Sorry for the bfn. I hope the next round of ivf brings a rainbow in to your life.

As for me I'm starting to make fertility bracelets again. I need a distraction from all this stuff with the NHS. I'll be selling them on ebay I think 🤔. Still no hormones detected on my monitor, now cd13 since erpc, I would have thought estrogen would be starting to work by now but nothing, monitor still says low. I had a negative on a frer last week. I'm confused 😕. My temps are all over the place too. I think this mmc has completely messed my body up.

Pop1234 · 10/02/2019 12:43

@frillyfarmer how are you doing today?

@Lilimum6 Try not to worry. I think it's normal not to ovulate until a period after ERPC. How many days are your cycles usually?

Lilimum6 · 10/02/2019 13:05

@Pop1234 they are normally 24 - 25 days

Thanks @Lilimum6 ! Everything crossed for me and all of us on here! Distraction is the key! Love my fertility bracelet.
And just now at the O2 about to watch Strictly live! Practically sitting on the dancing floor! Grin
