Hi ladies. Hope you don't mind me joining. I'm looking for some support following 3 chemical pregnancies/early miscarriages in the last 5 months. We are lucky to have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. Completely blindsided by this as she was conceived so easily. We do get pregnant every time we try but can't seem to hold on to any this time. I am waiting until I an 2 months post mc and then will be going to Coventry ri see professor Quenby. I'm also waiting for a referral to get all the routine bloods done on the NHS.
Just looking to receive and offer support really and any experiences people have from Coventry would be so greatly appreciated.
Lots of love to all of you 💖

Hi ladies,
I’m 38(in a week’s time)
TTC since October 18
First MC 2 weeks ago, so I’m just waiting for AF so I can get on the TTC train.
In the meantime trying to get my TSH level under 2.5 and hoping for that BFP soon.

@Nirupa did you do a pregnancy test before you started using opk? As I was told by doctor to check it comes up negative after bleeding had stopped first as opk could pick up hormones in any remaining pregnancy tissue X

I bleed for 7 days and I have worked out that my cycle started after I stopped bleeding. I've read that in most cases the waiting until after AF is really only to do with working out dates as long as you got a negative test and have stopped bleeding your fine to.dtd if your emotionally ready X good luck!

@catconfusion, I know I’m being a nag, but my dr told me my levels were normal at 2.83 (well within 4) but so many studies show 2.5 is the max for woman TTC. He’s now accepted that is too high and I’m being treated for it.
Ps, I thought I was having IBS during my MC. Turns out that was just contractions.. but worth checking it out anyway.

Glad you have a weekend away.. I swear there are pregnant woman and babies everywhere!

@russkispy.. congratulations! Stay positive. Fingers crossed, you will have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
positive thinking is powerful and good for all our sanities too!

@laney79. I’m having the same problem with my AF.
I’ve heard cycles are all messed up after a loss, so maybe it’s not too short?

Stupid question to ask anyone who can help....but it’s been ages since I had a heavy bleed after being on birth control for so many years..
do you bleed cloths during your monthly cycle?
My cycle before my MC was 2-3 days light bleed.

I am really trying to understand if I had my AF this week and can’t start TTC or if that is just the end of my MC... any advice would be much appreciated.

@Russkispy aww congrats lovely! Everything crossed for you.

@Catconfusion sorry the party was tough. I hate it when people ask about when you're going to have kids - I often feel like telling the brutal truth-it's not that easy for everyone, some of us don't get to choose when, and I've lost two in the past year so think in future before you ask...one day I'll snap and say it!

@Fivebyfive2 welcome to the huddle.

Hi to everyone else. I'm CD3...and my anxiety over AF is pretty high again. Advice thoughts appreciated...So had a bit of spotting thurs eve...Friday AF began-heavy and bright red when I went to the loo but very little on the pad (only really needed one all day!) -loo trips every 2-3 hours. That carried on till mid afternoon yesterday when it slowed right down to very light flow and turned darker/brown. Today it's only there on wiping and is brown. Surely this is far too short? On the basis of the past couple of cycles I may get a mini gush or two today/tomorrow but basically spotting only from here on in for 2-3 days if that. It doesn't seem long enough...so now I'm worrying about ashermans or lining being too thin or menopause (40 this July) -what do you ladies think?

@Laney79 thanks for asking after me. On Friday morning I woke up and miraculously the bleeding had stopped. I'm still having some cramping. I'm wondering if I have IBS. It would fit with all the stress we've had. My stomach has been upset for some time too. The weekend away is going ok. The party we went to was tough. Lots of babies and children. Also lots of questions about when we'll have kids so a bit awkward. It's been nice to get away though. Xx

Thanks @Nirupa I had those checked after my MMC last month. They were normal. It's likely my body just wasn't ready to support a pregnancy so soon after my ERPC procedure. Some women get lucky but unfortunately I wasn't. It could also have been chromosomal again too. My doctor is going to run a load of tests on me and DH so maybe we'll get some answers. Xx

@fivebyfive2 & raincart2017

Sorry for both your losses..
I am also going through the same thing..so understand your pain..
I Started spotting 28 feb. Had a scan on 1st with a ‘healthy’ heart beat then another, a week later with no heartbeat at all.
I have been spotting / bleeding all of March and it stopped earlier this week. I started to ovulate on Monday (from tracking BBT & taking an OPK) and then yesterday I had a full on bleed.
I’m not sure if that’s my AF or part of the MC.. it’s been so light today.

How long did the bleeding from your MC last?

I can’t wait to TTC again and I read it’s better to wait for your first AF, but I’m not sure if that’s happened or not.

I’m sad that our hopes for a 2019 baby are quickly slipping away too.

Goodluck to you both on your TTC journey

@Fivebyfive2 yeah we didn't want families fussing either so we kept it quiet apart from some key people who have had MC before just so we could talk through early stage worries and questions with them and since the MC it's been great to have close friend to talk to. There's so much taboo about talking about it X we have made a real effort to be as open as possible x yes fingers are firmly crossed!!!

@Raincart2017, sorry you went through that xxx I'm glad your af arrived OK though and that you're ready to go again! I think I will be too, by the time mine arrives. Dh has been really good and is keen to try again, think we'll keep it to ourselves if we catch though, as before we told our parents so don't want them worrying / fussing bless them! Fingers crossed it happens for us both soon xxxx

@Fivebyfive2 sorry for your loss X Welcome to the group everyone is very lovely and supportive x

I was in a very similar situation to you I started to bleed on 16th February at what would have been 7+2 X

You weren't silly it's a very normal reaction to be excited and start making plans. I remember thinking we could tell our mums the good news on Mother's Day next week as we would have been over 13 weeks and I had a wander round John Lewis and mamas n papas one day to have a look at what things they have to offer.

My AF started today which is 5 weeks after the bleed started and 28 days since it stopped.

I'm feeling desperate to be pregnant again but I believe what will be will be and I feel so much more prepared going into this time then last time but I think there will always be a little doubt in the back of my head saying what if it happens again but I'm ready to face it!

Fingers crossed your AF comes ok and then if your feeling emotionally ready to try again so I wish you good luck x

Hi ladies, would it be OK if I dipped my toe in here? You all seem so lovely and I'm so sorry for everything you've been through and continue to go through xxx

A bit about myself, I'm 30 and came off the pill this time last year. Started full on ttc around August and got a bfp in Jan. Thought all was fine, but had brown spotting on Valentines day, so went to hospital. They were reassuring and booked me an early scan 'just to be safe'. Sadly I was told that, instead of seeing what they should at around 8 weeks, there was only the pregnancy sac. We waited 2 weeks and the follow up scan was the same. I had d&c on 11th March. It was devastating but we're getting through it and want to try again.

We're waiting for my af to show up, then will try again. On one hand I'm desperate to be pregnant again but I'm a bit scared too! Feel like we were so naive last time, we got so excited and we're already making plans. Which is what is normal I suppose, but looking back I can't help but feel a bit silly...Xxx

@Pop1234 do whatever you need to lovely, it's a really anxious time. I'm sure we'll all feel the same with any future BFPs. Wishing you the stickiest of stickies xx

@Catconfusion how's the pain now? Has it eased off? Hope it has so you can enjoy your weekend away etc.

@ale2992 fingers crossed for you. I too hate not knowing when af is due-I rely on my opks as I know she should arrive 12/13 days after ov for me (my luteal phase is the one thing that hasn't got too screwed by my miscarriages)

Cd2 here, heavy-ish and painful cramps yesterday, let's see what the witch brings today. If I don't catch this cycle I won't be pregnant by Bows due date in April, and I guess it's my last shot at a 2019 baby. Can I just say that sometimes life is an absolute b**tard and so bloody unfair. Thanks. Feel better for that. Wink

Arh good luck @ale2992 I hope you're doing ok. Sounds like you did O so hoping you'll get a bfp. I've had a chemical since you were last on here. Am so nervous about what my cycle will do now I'm cd4. I had a very healthy cycle after my MMC and got bfp but it didn't stick so two miscarriages back to back. Xx

Report
ale2992 · 22/03/2019 17:48

2dpo here I think not 100% as my cycle feels like it's all over the place after my chemical. It even sure if I ovulated this month 👎🏻
I feel like I did but my opks didn't pick it up, I can't test between 8-4 when I'm at work though so hoping I just didn't catch it on a test? I got my usual ovulation pains. I was getting very anxious so I stopped testing as it was making me worse.
Af is due between 2nd and 4th according to my apps but again I'm still not sure...
I hate not knowing when to expect it
