@Lilimum6 Thanks lovely - I posted an update on Saturday. My DH freaked out during my FW so no joy again this month. Next up is my hysteroscopy on 25th Feb. Really hope he will try in March. I can't take this any longer ☹️

I've heard lots of good things about reiki - let us know how you get on. Are you still waiting to have another scan?

Hi @Lilimum6 I'm ok ta. CD12...think today is ovulation day. Peak on clear blue yesterday morning and positive opks all day yesterday but going negative today...so hoping to fit in another BD tonight but hoping our timing over the weekend was good. Off to GP tomorrow see if she'll do the referal for the private tests to save me a few quid, and to see if she'll check my vitamin D levels again now I'm taking a top up supplement.

How was the reiki? Xxx

Thanks ladies @InDreamland @Lilimum6 - how are you both getting on?

Well, I'm back from my scan.

No pregnancy, positive pg test, Sonographers looked confused and sent me up to consultant.

Consultant has concluded that it's either retained material from mc but based on my dates it should be falling now.

Or my first MC could have been a CP, I conceived some time between 5th jan (positive pg test) and 18th jan (negative pg test following bleed) and it's too early to see much on the ultrasound. She did say that the Sonographers noted a small material part in my uterus that could either be retained material or a new early pregnancy - the notes from my first scan conclude no retained new material.

So, more bloods, more waiting and if it's still rising, another scan in a week. I'm trying to remain level headed but honestly girls I'm just not sure what to think anymore.

Let's see what these bloods test and whether I can draw a line or not. X

Oh @frillyfarmer that's so frustrating. I was really hoping for an answer for you. I'll keep hoping it's just too early to see. Hugs xxx

@Lilimum6 thanks for checking in. I'm good bleeding is easing up at the moment - getting my head around the whole thing. Driving myself crazy googling everything. The day the MC started I went to the gym and did my normal session - I felt fine a little dizzy so now I'm thinking may be the gym caused it - I know it didn't as I went when pregnant with my DS. But can't get it out of my head.

@frillyfarmer god sorry you are going through this hopefully you will get answers soon - so hard waiting.

xx

@RedRobin7 hi hun sorry to hear that. I really feel for you. What is the hysteroscopy for what are they looking for?
@Laney79 fingers crossed hun for tonight. And good luck with the doc hope she agrees, I've looked at the cost of going private ouch on the purse strings
@frillyfarmer wow how confusing hun. I really hope it's a new pregnancy and it was just to early to see anything.

Well reiki was amazing I've never been so relaxed. She did lots a fertility prayer and treatment. And she says the spirits are showing a baby girl in my future. She said I was all twisted up inside and she also did some emotional heart healing too. I don't know if it works but I feel good (better then I have in a while)

@HellsBellsK are hun I totally understand how you feel. I had my second mc after I ate the wrong thing and I convinced myself that I caused it. Be kind to yourself hun you did nothing wrong. I would say step away from the Google but I'm as bad as you so I can't talk. I unfortunately am the type that if you told me to do a handstand and snort washing up liquid and you'll be pregnant right after, I'd laugh but I would secretly do it just incase it was true. Honestly the things I've done on this journey to try and get past 12 weeks would make your sides hurt.
Look after each other and I hope your feeling better (by that I mean calmer) soon. Remember we are here for you, your not alone x

@Lilimum6 Glad the reiki helped, I reckon relaxation is such a huge part of healing.

Yep-private not cheap but I'm being selective with my tests. I think if I get the GP to refer me I'll have spent £300 total for the ones I want. Xx

Hi everyone
Can I join please? I've had 2 MMC (June and October) and a natural miscarriage on Christmas Day. I have had my bloods done with the NHS recurrent clinic but awaiting results. Now I'm wondered do we DTD this month or not?

So sorry to meet you all here. It's such a rubbish thing to happen. I wouldn't wish it on anybody x

Hi @Lilimum6, thanks for asking. I'm not too bad at the moment. Trying not to let TTC take over my life lol, trying to go with the flow.
How are you getting on?

@frillyfarmer I can only imagine what your are going through! I really hope your next scan shows a little sticky bean. Everything crossed for you.

I'm am a bit annoyed because I thought I had my AF last week which would be roughly same as before bfp, no bleeding sun or Mon n then today, just as DH n I thought about DTD I went to the loo n had red smear when I wiped 😒 sorry for tmi. So I think my body is playing tricks with me. My DH n I started TTC again as soon as I'd had the all clear on partial molar. X

Also my friend does reiki, I might ask her for a session or two to see if it helps get my body n cycles settled down.

@MummyG82 I'm OK still coming to terms with yet another loss but spotting is very mild so nearly finished. Started opks but I don't think I will ovulate this month as I'm cd7 and I usually ovulate cd10 or 11 but there's no second line at all. But on the plus side hpt is now negative. So things are resolving. I'm just impatient

@Lilimum6 thanks for checking in. I am ok, recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment tomorrow so feeling quite nervous about that but got some good news today that my thyroid is now in ideal range for TTC so we can hopefully get back on it. I am 5dpo so this cycle is out but hoping the clinic tomorrow say we're ok to keep trying Smile have you any idea when your appointment is yet?

@frillyfarmer so sorry to hear about the confusing scan, what an agonizing time for you. I hope this is a new pregnancy which is just to small to see

Lilimum6 · 05/02/2019 17:15

@strawberrye no appointment yet. The stupid hospital lost my paperwork and still hadn't discharged me from this pregnancy so the referral still hasn't gone through. So I've gone mental it doesn't take a week to discharge a patient not to mention losing my paperwork. I left it with Dr Reeds (epu/gynaecology consultant at my local hospital) secretary to get it sorted. So hopefully hear soon.
Great news about your thyroid levels hun. I've already had mine checked and that fine so that's not causing me problems, I'm not diabetic either had those checked via the doctor. I'm convinced my problem is blood clotting so I'm now taking aspirin. All of my mmc have dragged on due to blood clots so it make sense to me that it's my issue.
Good luck tomorrow hun fingers crossed that you can jump back on the crazy ttc train.

@Lilimum6 oh bless you, it will take time. I'm the same, so impatient! I just want to get on with TTC. The only time I've ever been happy to see a bfn was after my MMC. It just that little reassurance that things are moving the right way so you can try again. I keep toying with getting ovulation strips, I haven't used them before, I usually just use apps. I think I'll see how the first couple of months go n if nothing then i might give them a go.

@Lilimum6 thanks for checking in. I'm so sorry for what you and we are all going through. It's two weeks on Friday since my mc and I still have blazing positive. Is that normal? I want to try again but they told me to wait until the rest is negative but I'm 41! Not sure what to do

Lilimum6 · 05/02/2019 17:43

@disconnecteddrifter I think the longer you are pregnant the more hcg has to leave your body. If it's still positive after 3 weeks contact epu and get a scan just to be sure everything has gone. I did and it turned out I had retained products. But all sorted now just wait for either referral letter or af which ever comes first. While you have high hcg you won't ovulate anyway. Look after each other and I will keep my fingers crossed 🤞 for a bfn for you

@Lilimum6 glad the reiki was good.

@Frillyfarmer sorry you're going through this. Hppefully it is just too early to see a new pregnancy and in a couple of weeks you'll have a baby growing confirmed.

Well this morning was mixed emotions. DHs semen analysis showed low count which he's upset about. So we're gonna get sperm DNA quality tests done too. Had bloods for AMH and should have results back by end of the week. I asked about NK cells testing but being discouraged from the tests as they said whilst they do it there is little evidence to back up effect on pregnancy, IVF and mc. I have been told to start taking Q10.
