Hi everyone! How are you all doing? I'm 12DPO today weighing up whether to do a FRER when I get in as I'm struggling to try and wait any longer 🙈

@Tchelsea ok I will make myself hold out haha! sorry if this is tmi but I'm not sure if I should even test tomorrow now as I've had some light spotting I guess you could call it but only when I wiped (so sorry if that's tmi 🙈) but AF isn't due till Saturday/Sunday and I never normally get any spotting at all so that's a bit of a strange one for me 🤔

@als2912 how are you feeling, have you tested? Not sure about the spotting if you don't normally get it. I pretty much always get it 2-4 days before AF starts so that would be the usual for me.
I'm in my TWW now, really hoping this is my month!

@Goodyear2019 woke up feeling like AF is coming any time now, I've had fairly strong cramps but no proper show of it just yet but I think I may be out this month 🙁 gutted as I really thought this month was going to be it 👎🏼 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope your tww goes quickly! 🤞🏼

@Goodyear2019 sorry forgot to say I haven't tested as my plan was to do one this morning if it felt right but as I felt the way I did I just thought it would be best to wait and see if AF makes a proper appearance

Hi everyone
I was away for a week which was good because it kept my mind away from symptom spotting. Of course AF showed up a day after it was due :( so back to TTC. I used digital ovulation sticks last month and was hopeful it had worked first time but it did not :( We have now started Ramadhan so with the long hours of fasting and work it's gonna be a hard month. I don't have much hope for May but let's see.

@Tchelsea huge congratulations!! So pleased for you. Such lovely news to read 🙂

I’m currently in my fertile window and managed to DTD on Saturday and last night. Going to also tonight and tomorrow morning before my hubby goes on a golf weekend! Ha! Then it’s the waiting game for me... I’ve not used OPKs this month as going on holiday in June so just thought I’d go with the flow and see what happens!

Hello everyone, I'm new here!
I'm 32 and TTC 1st baby over 7 cycles in last 9 months (missed 2!), ovulated recently so now in 2 wk wait.

I've been trying really hard not to overthink it but with every month that passes it gets harder and lonelier so thought I'd join here for a bit more support. I've only just started tracking BBT this month but holding off on the ovulation testing as trying to stay relaxed about it and the thought of peeing on a stick every day is soul destroying!

I come from a really fertile family so I think that's what has made it harder as I wonder if there's something wrong with me. I just assumed that it would happen quickly!!

I get horrendous ovulation pain each month and sometimes notice bleeding after sex which isn't helping my worrying...!

Looking forward to learning more about you all and supporting each other on this journey together!

@winter138 welcome! You can always come here for support or a bit of a rant! Have you told your GP about your ovulation pain and bleeding?

@Tchelsea AF has well and truly arrived as the day has progressed so I'm quite gutted but I just need to accept that it's not this month and just keep hopeful for the next cycle ☹️

@winter138 hi! 😊I'm totally with you on the thinking it would happen quickly we've been ttc since December 2018 and there now seems to be more and more people I know lately that are getting pregnant and I'm just here like what on earth could I possibly be doing wrong 😂 I know everyone is different but it's still frustrating!

@als2912 sorry to hear that 😔 it never gets any easier! I felt like that last month and was quite gutted. Hope you are ok!

@winter138 Welcome! This is defo the right place to rant and find support 🙂 I also thought it would happen quickly for me as my sister fell pregnant so fast! Hopefully it’ll happen soon for you. It’s very common for it to take time, or so am I told!

I thought I'd join, cycle #7 age 28, first baby.

@winter138 totally feel the same as you, my sister, mum and grandma all conceived in first cycle and friends in 1-4 cycles so it's hard when it seems to take longer than everyone else! DH 7 years older so we really want to conceive soon

@meenabeena That does sound like a tough month, but wishing you lots of luck!

I'm in my TWW now, cycle #11 for me... I find some months tougher than others when I get AF. I've got a GP appointment in a couple of weeks and hoping they can refer me for tests.

Welcome @Am2019. It's horrible when everyone else seems to manage it a lot easier than you. I was the same with all of my cousins. But it's not a race, go at your own speed!

@Tchelsea thank you :) just waiting for AF to finish so we can start trying again.

Question to everyone. So I've been taking folic acid tablets since we started trying in Jan. One every morning and I'm running low. Should I continue taking them? They say you should start taking them a month before you start trying. As it's not happened yet is there any problem if I continue taking them? Also are pregnacare tablets better than just folic acid tablets? And advice would be greatly appreciated :)

@Meenabeena I also started taking folic acid in January as that’s when we started trying too! I have just carried on taking them! Xx

@Tchelsea CONGRATS delighted for you.

I have been missing for awhile due to work being really busy and then I was on holidays. My fertile week was the week before holidays when we only DTD once and the week we DTD all week long was my TTW week but sure feck it, we had a great holiday and that is all that matters. Although DP really can't understand how some people get pregnant first time, or when they aren't trying, and yet we can't. He knows AF is due Saturday and he is getting very excited about taking a test Sunday, he doesn't get that it is a bit harder for us women even when we do put on a brave face.

@ImMeantToBeWorking Thank you very much :). Glad you had a great holiday! I know how you feel with DP... DH is exactly the same. I suggested he watched The Great Sperm Race... You can find it on YouTube if you haven't seen it. I think it gives men the visual understanding of why it's so difficult!!

He loves youtube so that is perfect!! I have explained time and time again why I cant get pregnant every day of the month but he just doesn't understand!! I will link him to that later!! Thanks
