Hi All,

In the tww of my first cycle trying for my first baby.... learning so much reading through some of these threads! Would be lovely to have people to talk to that are going through the same thing!

I'm on cycle 5 CD13, according to my Ovia app I'm right in the middle of my fertile period however Flo is saying I'm only on the first day of it so who knows! 😂 just going with whatever this month and trying to be a bit more relaxed about it all!

This matched what my app (Clue) and the digital ovulation test said so maybe use this to see what's your best day.

I also counted back my previous cycles and realised that we actually missed ovulation day every month. So fingers crossed we've done it right this month

Thanks @Tchelsea I did have a little cry this morning but now that's out of the way I feel a bit better. I don't mean to sound pessimistic but I'm kind of resigned to the fact that I probably will need to go for tests. I might make an appointment sooner rather and later and hopefully they'll agree to tests.

I always thought my cycle was bang on 28 days, but over the last 9 months it's been 26,26,29,27,30,31,25,28,28. You're right that nobody knows their body better than a woman trying to conceive, I've noticed so much more about my body/cycles since I started!

Someone told me I should stop running as its all to do with gravity LOLS but everything Ive read says exercise is good for fertility and also pregnancy so Im going to just pray for the best and go for a run tonight. (But omg running when your a week away from period is a no-no, the sore boobs are a killer)

@Goodyear2019 hope you are okay. I would definitely go sooner rather than later just so you know either way. I’m really sorry that you are having to go through this.

I’m currently really bloated and still spotting but no cramps as yet although a few twinges earlier. Maybe AF is on her way...

Has anyone had lots of cm AFTER you're supposed to have ovulated? It's sticky and cloudy so I definitely don't think it's fertile cm, but there is loads of it! I supposedly ovulated over the weekend so I'm a tad confused that maybe my ovulation dates are all wrong.

Gravity?! lol! Everything I've read generally indicates staying active is recommended when TTC and when pregnant, especially if you regularly exercise anyway. I occasionally run (well jog!) and do pilates or yoga most weeks and I've kept doing both. I've got no boobs so thats not a problem for me haha!

Hey everyone hope you're all doing ok! Just got a bit excited because I've just got my first ever positive OPK and didn't really have anyone else I could share it with without sounding a little bit crazy 😂 so I thought I know just the people 😂

@Danimarie thank you! Yeah I got a bit anxious last month as I did quite a few and they were always negative so wondered if the tests were rubbish or if my body just wasn't doing what it should! but tonight this has given me a bit of hope that things are looking up!

I’m feeling a bit deflated today. I took a FREP test and it was negative. Kind of knew it would be but still has upset me as I had a tiny bit of hope left....

@Goodyear2019 thank you! was a bit gutted as didn't manage to DTD last night as my OH got in so late from work 🤦🏽‍♀️but did another OPK this morning and still showing positive so there's still hope for tonight 🤞🏼

@Danimarie sorry to hear that, even if you are sort of expecting it it's still not a great feeling when it's confirmed is it 🙁we're all here for you x

@Danimarie sorry to hear that, it's so hard not to hold on to a bit of hope. I've managed to resist doing tests so far but I find it impossible not to symptom spot and get my hopes up. Lots of luck for us both next month :-)
