Yay a new thread 😊

I'm 23 and on cycle 1. CD 23

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 17:39

Thanks @thumper59 I'm gonna make a proper list 😂😂😂

KatBeCool · 22/01/2019 17:45

Go FURST baby!

@ValidUser somehow I had a feeling it would be March! That's great news! Dr wouldn't be positive without a reason. So happy for you!

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 17:46

I know @KatBeCool of all the mistakes I could make, I make it in the title! It's bloody awful 😂😂

Hey, I just joined in quite late on the last thread, I'm 31, on cycle 1 although not due to ovulate for another 12 days (on CD21 as I have long cycles).

Sorry to hear about the surgery @ValidUser, should it make TTC easier for you afterwards?

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 17:50

Hello all! 28, awaiting surgery in March before I can get IVF.

Cycle 7.

Lozzlepop · 22/01/2019 17:50

🙋🏽‍♀️

I’m 35, cycle 1 CD5

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 17:51

@Lola871 - will be ivf, but at least now we know!

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 17:52

@KatBeCool I'm hopeful!

thumper59 · 22/01/2019 17:54

Roll on us getting our furst babies 💕

@ValidUser I'm glad you've got some answers now 😊

Just been for a light power walk/jog and now I feel extremely sick 😷 don't know if it's the shock of running to my body or something else. Probably the former 😂

FlapJackered · 22/01/2019 17:59

Thanks for the tag @cupcakesandglitter 😘

@ValidUser that is really good news that the doc was so positive! And also great you can have the surgery so soon.

What does everyone do about exercise in the tww? I have been doing a fairly intense workout at the gym and just read it is better to do gentle exercise in tww like walking/Pilates. What are your thoughts? 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏋🏼‍♀️🤸‍♂️🏊‍♀️

KatBeCool · 22/01/2019 18:09

@FlapJackered exercise yes. Intense - no. Mainly, you don't want to put your body into overdrive or get dehydrated. Look at it this way, your body prioritises what it looks after, if you exhaust yourself, conceiving or take care of the egg might not be a front task, and, while forgotten, it might not get what it needs (nutrients, water, cm, etc).

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 18:09

@FlapJackered I do yoga and I'm going to do a lot more walking - I'm not doing any HIT, heavy weights or intense cardio, I've read you shouldn't do anything jumpy or too intense that it raises your body temp too much (I am super paranoid though so don't take my word for it 😂) xx

@cupcakesandglitter thanks for the tag! I’m still lurking around on this thread with my fingers crossed for everyone

@ValidUser I’m glad your doctor was so positive about you conceiving, must be very encouraging.

@FlapJackered I continued my standard exercise regimen (mostly HIIT and some weights) the whole time.

MrsR16 · 22/01/2019 18:11

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter

Hello you wonderful bunch of people! Debating on how to time POAS tomorrow... I get up at 06:30, shove clothes on, Walk the dog. First wee of the day is normally between shoving clothes on and taking the doglet out. By the time I get back from walking the muttley, the test would be way out of time! Do I just bite the bullet and get up earlier?!?

Lola871 · 22/01/2019 18:15

@flapjackered my understanding is that as long as it's your normal exercise routine or gradually increasing then it's fine (applies during pregnancy and two week wait) however I do work in an exercise based profession so probably have biases! I won't be changing my exercise routine initially though (weight training, triathlon, team sport).

MrsR16 · 22/01/2019 18:16

To put that in context, it takes an awful lot to drag me out of bed! I bet everyone's thinking "well of course get up 5 mins earlier!" Haha! 🙈

DayDreamer1707 · 22/01/2019 18:16

I love the new thread name, I have to say that even though we've never meant it does seem a very you thing to do @cupcakesandglitter 😂😂😂. Let's hope it's a lucky name and we all get our furst babies hehe.

@MrsR16 whoop your going to POAS!! FX For you, I feel very hopeful for you x

Cycle #3
Awaiting the joyous AF on Saturday
10 DPO
Age 28
Currently symptom spotting out my head 🤯

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 18:19

@DayDreamer1707 😂😂 piss off, I've got MNHQ to change it 😂😂 feel like such a fruitcake!

@MrsR16 oh god no, not in this weather!! Those extra five minutes make all the difference 😂😂 take it with you?! That way you can have a sneak peek when you're out?! Xx

OP posts:
thumper59 · 22/01/2019 18:19

My AF is due Monday 😫 like Monday's aren't bad enough!

I took another opk earlier, just inquisitive to see if anything came up with having a bit of an unpredictable cycle this month. It was very negative, as expected. Would they show positive if you was pregnant 😕 it was a cheap internet one.

thumper59 · 22/01/2019 18:21

Never mind. A quick google has assured me even if they was gonna show pregnancy it wouldn't be till after AF was due anyway. I'm loosing the plot aren't I 😫

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 18:22

@thumper59 far too soon for an OPK I'm afraid - from what I've read, you'd get a positive OPK when you've got enough hormone for a normal HPT xx

OP posts:
DayDreamer1707 · 22/01/2019 18:24

@cupcakesandglitter hahaha, we all still know 🤫. I agree with cupcakes @MrsR16 the test with you x

@thumper59 I've read that they only come up positive if you are a good few weeks up the duff. But might make you feel better now you've pee'd on something x

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 18:27

I'll embrace it 😂 @DayDreamer1707 come on baby Furst!!! X
