Evening ladies. Hope you're all doing well! Thanks for the tag, @cupcakesandglitter

I'm now on Cycle 9, CD 4.

Doing SMEP again this month so will start doing OPKs at CD10. Really, really hope that this is my month.

Fingers crossed this thread is lucky for us all!! Xx

thumper59 · 22/01/2019 18:42

@cupcakesandglitter @DayDreamer1707 Thankyou that made me feel better! I should of just googled first, my little brain is over flowing with ttc tips and tricks and all sorts of CM!

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 19:40

@thumper59 and @stormtrooperjulian - I was so glad he was happy with my AMH, and unconcerned about my (slightly high) FSH!

Apparently if they can't reposition my left ovary or save my right, I'll need to consider egg donors.

On the other hand, if I can use my own, I'm planning on donating an egg or two once I've completed our family.

19Bee2 · 22/01/2019 19:51

Evening all and thank you for tagging me in @cupcakesandglitter I'm currently CD25. Not really feeling hopeful for this cycle but looking forward to starting the next with a little more focus.

I've been watching from afar these last few days - congratulations to those with BFP's.

@validuser I am glad you got some answers and some hopeful news about the future. March will be here in no time at all!

@Cinderella818 I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time. I understand where you are coming from. Mental health particularly can play such a role in these things, particularly for men, and I think they put so much pressure on themselves. This doesn't take away from the frustration that we can be left with, though, so that is completely justified. I am sure you will be able to find a solution and work together on this.

cupcakesandglitter · 22/01/2019 19:51

@ValidUser what's the chances of them not being able to? Donating your eggs is a lovely thought x

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 19:56

@cupcakesandglitter I'm told that's "worst case scenario".

I do feel like taking someone else's is a bit of a violation, though. But I'll think about it all in the next few months.

Sleepyquest · 22/01/2019 19:59

Hiiii
Can I join?

I'm 28, cycle 1 no idea about what day of my cycle 🙈
TTC #1

MrsR16 · 22/01/2019 20:01

Hi @Sleepyquest welcome to the madhouse! Some of us have been around a long time and this is the best place to be! Xx

TrashKitten10 · 22/01/2019 20:01

Can you add me on? I'm not very good at keeping up with this thread in the week but I try to catch up at the weekends

Cycle 1, CD 26

Sleepyquest · 22/01/2019 20:06

Thanks @MrsR16 Smile I do hope it won't take us too long!

ValidUser · 22/01/2019 20:14

@Sleepyquest, welcome!

BostonFern · 22/01/2019 20:18

@cupcakesandglitter thanks for tagging me in.
I was still looking at the old thread wondering why it had gone so quiet! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Welcome @Sleepyquest

TrashKitten10 · 22/01/2019 20:38

@Keyboard91 Sorry to hear you're still in limbo. I hope that line darkens again for you

@ValidUser Good news the doctor is confident, that must be reassuring

@Cinderella812 Sounds like you're having a really rough time of it. I can see why your DH was offended but I think he's being really unfair to you. It's quite simple, if you want a baby then dtd is pretty compulsory. It's messing with your head promising you something and then not being willing to do anything about it. I think you're being very reasonable to be honest, you've done everything you possibly can to help and make things easier for him.

I'm having a low, not necessarily TTC related day today. Feel really rubbish at doing my job despite spending nearly 12 hours a day out of the house for it. Feel a rubbish wife because I'm so busy and stressed and keep crying. I even just got upset I'm not keeping up with this thread and got left off the list, it's like I'm rubbish at even reading bloody mumsnet Grin silly over emotional day, probably not made better by a BFN. Now DH is moaning I'm spending all my night on here, I need more hours in the day. Or just to quit my job.

BostonFern · 22/01/2019 21:00

I caved in and just did a FRER, it was a BFN- fully expecting AF on Thursday.

MrsEG · 22/01/2019 21:58

Ah thanks for the tag lovelies! Hope to see lots of BFPs soon.

@FlapJackered re: exercise in 2WW, do exactly as you would normally. DH is a personal trainer and gym owner; you don’t need to worry at all. Even in first trimester you just make minor modifications and the body temp thing has all been debunked :)

OhMarnie · 22/01/2019 22:13

I also joined late ish in the last thread! I’m 28, cycle 1, CD8.

@Sleepyquest welcome!

OhMarnie · 22/01/2019 22:18

@TrashKitten10 sorry you’ve had such a rubbish day, hope tomorrow is a better one. I know the feeling when you’re over tired and emotional - it makes everything worse! I don’t know you but I bet if you’re stressing that much about being a good wife and doing well in your career then you probably are! We put so much pressure on ourselves and have to remember not to say things to ourselves that we wouldn’t say to someone else. I’m sure you are doing better than you think, get a good rest and hopefully it will clear your head!

19Bee2 · 22/01/2019 22:29

Hope you feel better after a sleep @TrashKitten10 Am I remembering that you are a teacher? I know there were a couple of others on here as well as me. Either way, it's such hard work being on to go for so many hours. Go easy on yourself! Flowers

MrsR16 · 22/01/2019 23:02

@DayDreamer1707 @cupcakesandglitter I'll let you lovelies know as soon as I know anything! 😂 my DH said "god, I'll get up and check it if needs be!" 🤣

daisiesandpeonies · 22/01/2019 23:14

@ValidUser glad to hear the doctor is optimistic and it can get sorted!

Really interested to read the exercise stuff. I'm desperate to tone up my arms and belly a bit for some spring weddings after my Christmas decadence. Are things like the plank and mountain climbers risky? Assuming arm exercises are fine?!

@Cinderella812 I've had many a door slammed on me too trying to discuss this stuff with the DH. He will get over today and understand why you said it, don't worry.
I get the flirting with other men stuff too, when you're struggling with sex it makes you sad and almost angry when other men give you the eye, you want to shout 'bet he'd be up for a shag if I let him, what's wrong with you ffs!' Imagine😂
It's just a balancing act between supporting him through the depression - a lot of cheerleading and 'mothering' which isn't very sexy, let's admit it, but he needs to relax and know that he isn't less of a 'man' in your eyes - and then at the same time being firm in addressing that this issue hurting you for lots of reasons, not just the baby, and it's not fair of him to brush you off. It's hard work and I've cried for hours over this - but you WILL get this off the ground. Gosh TTC is hard 😭

DuchessofPemberley · 22/01/2019 23:17

@thumper59 I'm due on Monday too! Hoping to hold out testing until Sunday.

@ValidUser that's great that you have some answers, really positive. Now you can move on in your journey xxx

🙋🏻‍♀️

My stats:

Age: 32
Cycle: 6
CD: 22
DPO: 9

I had another temp drop below the cover line today (had one at 5dpo too). Really hope it rises tomorrow, although it's confusing. It can't be implantation double dipping can it?!?! 😂😂😂

KatBeCool · 23/01/2019 05:21

Ladies, how long does your LH surge last? Second month in a row I missed it because it seems like it's only a few hours long and I catch the beginning of it where opk is just pre-positive and then later that day it'd be negative. I used to get full two days of peak and it became shorter and shorter. I know it was positive and I just missed it, it coincides with temps (the dip and the rise), and twinges, and the weird itchy lower abdomen right above the ovaries. Poor DH, he went to sleep, I had to get some before he is asleep 😂

sunshine1987 · 23/01/2019 06:45

Bookmarking my place so I can see how everything’s going, hope you’re all doing well xx

TrashKitten10 · 23/01/2019 06:57

@19Bee2 @OhMarnie Thank you both for your kind words. I have woken up all puffy eyed but trying to be more positive. Yes I am a teacher btw :) I've always been very self critical and blame myself for everything and also bottle things up until I have a huge blubbering meltdown Blush how are you both?

Chanel05 · 23/01/2019 06:58

Hello ladies can I join? I’m a long time lurker and occasional poster in other threads and looking for a bit of a laugh in this minefield we call ttc.

Age: 29
Cycle: 7
CD: 18
DPO: temps are confusing me, 2dpo I think.
