My temp hasn't gone up :( I don't know what's going on... how quickly does temp go up after ov? 😩

Went to bed and woke up in a right rat arse mood. DP doing my head in- I'm probably making things seem worse then they are in my head but oh well- today I am in a bad mood. Hope this isn't a sign of AF 😫 DP does stuff that annoys me all month round though so maybe just a sign he's pissing me off instead 😂

@MrsR16 not necessarily, you said you wasn't sure when you was due on.

@thumper59 I always get extra crazy when AF is due but then again I do that when it's not 😂. The underneath of my BBs kept hurting last night which I've never had before 🤷🏼‍♀️. I've also stupidly brought an IC to work with me 🙈

@Cinderella812 we have all felt and loved the attention of other people, we are only human. Every couple has it's rough patches but he needs to see how he's not only hurting himself but you too.

@DayDreamer1707 that's like me 😂 I'm so laid back 99% of the time but loads of little things have niggled and wound me up for about 2 weeks now so I'm just about ready to pop 😂 although he just rang to say he tried to de ice my car but it's so cold he thinks it'll ice over again, and told me to wrap up warm and go careful going to work, so he isn't all bad 🙄😂 I think I'm just being a meanie 😂 this is what happens if we go 4 days without DTD 😂😂😂

@DayDreamer1707 yeah, I guess... just frustrating! If AF doesn't arrive by tomorrow, this will be the longest cycle I've ever had!

@Lozzlepop no symptoms really! Bloated and forever feeling like AF has arrived, but she really hasn't! No cramps and the weird thing is that my skin is clearing up (as much as it ever does!) so god knows what's happening...

@thumper59 I can be harsh with my OH, sometimes I tell him that him just breathing is annoying me. I obviously mean it light hearted but anything can wind me up sometimes. I haven't been too bad coming up to this AF. Think I am trying to stay positive as it will have been my first cycle since my MC with no random spotting!!

@MrsR16 You aren't out yet and sometimes people don't get positives till weeks into their pregnancies. I am currently 11DPO and trying my best not to pee on the IC in my bag...why bring it...😣 FX for you x

@Cindarella812 just catching up on your last post from the old thread. I’m so sorry that you are in this situation, I really feel for you and it must be so hard because someone is always going to get their feelings hurt. It sounds like he’s maybe not fully ready, have you both had a good chat about it? You maybe need to have a firm chat and apologise for your suggestion yesterday but that his lack of trying is really making you feel this way and putting a strain on things. He maybe just needs it told to him straight then the ball is in his court?! I know he doesn’t like you coming in to him but how about the old classic of telling him you have a surprise and putting some sexy undies on and let him do the rest? Sending lots of good vibes your way.

@DayDreamer1707 I'm the same😂 they're annoying sometimes though. He's real scruffy and I'm real tidy so that causes me to want to erupt pretty much daily 😬 I shouldn't moan really, could be a lot worse!!

When I was on the pill the week before, so this week I would be such hard work. I'd have a extremely short fuse and be so emotionally unstable but I feel okay off it. I feel fine this week just impatient to test. That's great about having no random spotting! I think staying positive is key to lots of things x

Am 3DPO, usually a 10-11 day luteal phase so not long to wait!

Got my hormone blood test Friday, be interested to see the results of that. I still don't think that'll flag anything, but it's something until they agree to do a scan (potentially have scar tissue blocking things, as surgery has already messed with positioning etc down there). Early days still though, just annoying knowing I've likely got something wrong with me and they can't do anything about it due to protocol

@ValidUser - glad you don't have long to wait for your surgery and to start IVF, although am very sorry you have to go through with it at all

@Cindarella812 - see i'm more like your DP in this situation, in that I'm not really that way inclined very often, but because I know how important the fertile week is etc. I just power through. DH is feeling like it's not very romantic at the moment, but I think he's ok apart from that. It's all hard-going for everyone this malarkey, unless you're lucky that it happens right away.

Aged 34, cycle 6, PCOS

I have a work trip soon to a county with malaria (please don't criticize, my life has been on hold for long enough so I need to do some work projects now and not let my career go dusty like it seems my ovaries have?!)

So took a test this morning before I pick up prophylactic meds, as I believe you have to have a different type.

BFN on a FRER at dpo 11.

Beyond bummed.

I too am sorry to hear about your issues. It sounds so frustrating. My OH is seeking a job at the moment and feeling a bit low, so sometimes says no to DTD at crucial times.

I found talking to him about the cycles and temping and ovulation day etc really helped him to understand the delicate timings of it all. I didn't even realize this until I started TTC!

So now it feels more like we are planning it together, rather then me asking for a quick go on his penis and a sperm deposit!

We also planned a date night for ovu day - and went to the cinema then back for some wine and chocolate and sexy time! To try and stop DTD feeling like a timetabled chore.

All this said, I am not pregnant!? So what do I know!!! 🤷‍♀️😜

Got a BFN FRER this morning, but it is early... dpo 11 is early for a FRER right?! I don't have any symptoms though, accept for what feels like the very early aches of AF.

Here's hoping for babies all round! 🤞

@cupcakesandglitter 2-3 days is normal. It's rarely a spike. Do you feel anything? For me, the twinges are the only things that keep me sane while I wait for the temp rise. Also, the first couple of days it's only the progesterone that corpus luteum releases so there might not be a lot of it, after that the body takes over and that's when the visible temp rise should happen. Sometimes there's even a temp dip between 2 and 4dpo because corpus luteum has exhausted itself by the body hasn't taken over yet. I know... another waiting game. I swear the only peace we get to have is when our bodies are gushing out blood because there's no waiting involved.

@KatBeCool I've had a couple of the quickest twinges on my right, but that's pretty much it really. It definitely is another waiting game, couldn't agree more. It's really irritating me 😂 I just want to know - I swear TTC is NOT for the patient!!

@cupcakesandglitter stupid temperature. When did you get your positive opk again? Mine went up 3 days after my first positive opk this cycle. So it was a bit of a wait, hence all the shagging!😂

@thumper59 I am the same with my DH when it is almost AF time. Little things that I manage to cope with the rest of the month really piss me off!

@FlapJackered I got mine on Sunday just before midnight - hoping it shoots up tomorrow! God I'm so glad the sex is over, I'm actually worn out 😂😂😂 DH's alarm woke me up half an hour earlier this morning which really irritated me (he then snoozed it and went back to bed 😡) and I think I had a bad night's sleep... all a bit of a blur really 😂😂

Sorry about the BFN. I'm feeling very nauseous, but I'm afraid to test because a BFN would crush me. I need my temperature to go up again tomorrow otherwise it's all over this cycle anyway.

I'm running out of optimism with this whole process. It just seems impossible. I know every BFP on thread 11 thought it was impossible before they got the BFP. But I'm just having a hard time with it at the moment.

@cupcakesandglitter I do the signature sitting with a face on and if he asks what's up I'm just like 'oh nothing I just think it's funny how....'. It's certainly not funny. I think he'll wanna keep the spare bedroom to lock himself in when I am being the wicked witch of the west 😂😂

Yeah it's a bummer but prob safer to be with AF than with a babe as going to West Africa so tons of horrible diseases and being pregnant reduces the immune system. The travel doc just told me the extra blood flow also tempts the mosquitoes! 😱

AF due on 27th or 28th then I fly on the 30th.

I too am losing hope. But then I remember these last few days of TTC are always he worst. Although disappointed, I always feel relieved when it's finally over and on to the next cycle! And considerably less mental.

How long should temps keeps going up? Mine have really plateaued now and I am expecting them to start to drop soon. This is my first cycle temping so bit confused!
