Wonderful news, Keepingthefaith! I remember your user name. So happy for you and as you're mid 40s it really inspires those of us who are now 43 or older like me. Is he your first? Sorry he had to be in NICU for a while.

Alibaba2 · 14/01/2019 20:15

Congrats Faith! I remember you. Enjoy your special time.

BooseysMom · 14/01/2019 20:18

Hi and Welcome @LynnC77 ! Sorry to hear of your mc. I wanted to tell you I had DS at 41 so there's every chance for you. How long have you been ttc? Good luck x

BooseysMom · 14/01/2019 20:23

@Lostlily... hello & welcome. I see your msg sneaked thru whilst I was typing another so I nearly missed you! I also have 1 child conceived at 40 and I was nearly 41 when I had him. 44 def not too old! Good luck x

Rose68 · 14/01/2019 20:28

Congratulations @Keepingthefaith9 such wonderful news! Such a relief he is doing okay after the spell in NICU. xxx

Welcome @LynnC77 and @Lostlily xxx

PetraRabbit · 14/01/2019 20:56

Welcome Lynn and Lostlily. I had my one DC at virtually 42 so there's a hopeful story for you.

Chatbash72 · 14/01/2019 22:20

@KeepingTheFaith9 congratulations and glad you are both home now..
welcome @LynnC77 and @Lostlily
@Cleozeta don't go... it takes 3 months to mature an egg for release you probably aren't going to see any results straight away... take the bracelet off and try some time away from it... xxx

littlemimosa · 14/01/2019 23:20

Cleo i agree. I think you need to step away from all the analysing. I know it gives a feeling of control over a situation in which (for once in life) we have very little control but it’s so stressful. I also think that you need to give all the Vitex etc longer. I’ve read it can take up to 4-6 months for that one to have a true effect and that’s just that one. AF day is the WORST especially whey you’re stressing about your cycle. But I think you need to take a breather. Get some distance. Keep going with the TCM, supplements and sex buy try to ‘unfocus’ yourself for a cycle. Put the Ava in a drawer and try to distract yourself. I say all this with huge respect and because I care. I also selfishly hope you don’t quit because you give the greatest advice! We’re all here for you.

littlemimosa · 14/01/2019 23:22

Faith congratulations!!! 💕 Such lovely news and happy to hear he’s doing well now. You always gave us such support and positivity so I appreciate you popping in. You’re welcome here anytime mama x

Letsdothis43 · 15/01/2019 02:54

@keeping brilliant news! congrats!

sorry and hugs for all the AF's

As for me, off in the morning to the czech repulic for first round of IVF, nervous excited, CD7 scan showed 6 follicles all growing as normal the sonographer said will have CD10 scan when I get to clinic and then EC on? hoping on Friday!

Chatbash72 · 15/01/2019 09:12

Travel safe @Letsdothis43 and good luck and also good luck @Presh12345 and anyone else who is starting rounds/jabs and procedures today xx

weasledee · 15/01/2019 11:37

Congrats faith!!

Hobbes39 · 15/01/2019 15:51

Good luck @Letsdothis43. Hope it's a good week for you. And congratulations @KeepingTheFaith9 😊!
Was trying to stay positive (I'm only 3dp3dt) but just had call from clinic to tell me the other embryo we had left didn't make it to being frozen, so I've slightly lost confidence in the ones transferred. It felt more reassuring last time when we had a back up as I could tell myself that if those ones made it that far, the ones in me surely could too... but now it's all riding on this, no back up. 🙈

Karigan195 · 15/01/2019 16:04

Fingers crossed for you Hobbes.

Also good to see good news as I’m currently suffering horrible anxiety about getting to 12 week scan and finding I’ve had a mmc or the baby has a problem.

Trying to relax. Had no bleeding, getting symptoms albeit nausea mild so far but still so worried about it going wrong. 7+3 today if my dates are correct. And it’s definitely grown so far as I haven’t put on more weight but I can’t do my trousers up comfortably!

Gizmojo · 15/01/2019 16:44

Quick question for anyone who uses the clearblue advanced monitor. I’ve read that for my cycle length I should start testing on CD10 but I’m already on day 13. Does that mean I shouldn’t test this month and start next cycle or do you think it’s worth starting tomorrow? I seem to usually ov about from day 19 onwards

Kj1010 · 15/01/2019 18:34

Hi all congrats to those who have bfp sorry for the ones that have af gl to those on there treatment its been three weeks today since my mc no bleeding yet been dtd do have sore nipples heartburn has now gone had a few pains which feel half like ovulation pains but also period pains me and dp are just enjoying the dtd no contraception they say 4-6 weeks should see period after mc so i guess i have another three to see if i have one or to do a test not looking forward to next week would of been my 12 weeks scan so think i will do something to keep mind occupied Smile

hmmm123 · 15/01/2019 18:35

@Cleozeta I'm worried about a short LP too . It seems to be getting shorter every month. November was 12 days December was 11 days with spotting on day 9☹️ this month I am awaiting AF and hoping it stays away as only 7 dpo but it feels imminent and I am crampy angry and spotty ....

hmmm123 · 15/01/2019 18:39

Good luck let's
Fingers crossed for a sticky one Karrigan

So good to hear of the safe arrival of your baby Faith.. I remember your positive thoughts.. let's try it ladies ...

olivia12 · 15/01/2019 19:51

Evening girls, pls help!!!! I’m having some spotting, pinkish and very light, I’m on day 22 since my period and period not due until the 25th January. I’m thinking this must be implantation bleeding, I’ve also had mild cramping all day and low backache. I am feeling hopeful and excited but I’m trying to keep calm and not go crazy with impatience.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Snowie3 · 15/01/2019 21:16

Great to hear about pregnancies and/or babies guys!! Exciting.

Can anyone recommend some pregnancy tests that reasonably cheap? Also so opks?

I normally use the digital ones but are so expensive!! Not sure if they are worth it now.

Sorry Gizmojo, ive had so many problems with opks which have probably made me miss my fertile window this month so prob not the best to advise! Hope you get it sorted.

Good luck on cycle Letsdothis!

Kj1010 · 15/01/2019 22:02

@snowie3 if you have a savers near you they do clear blue pregnancy test for £3.99 not digital though and the others ive not looked for x

littlemimosa · 15/01/2019 23:35

Good luck Let’s! Rooting for you.

Mellon - thinking of you x

Cleo - missing you! Hope you’re ok?

Chatbash72 · 16/01/2019 09:01

@olivia12 could it be implantation bleeding/spotting ?

olivia12 · 16/01/2019 09:27

Thank you @chatbash72....that’s my hope. The wait is hard....wish I could look inside my body and see what’s happening 🧐
Still feeling mild cramps today and still bleeding a tiny bit. 🙏🤞
