@Chatbash72 how many DC do you have? I'm looking at the roll call and it says 2 DS but then there's 5 ages there

BooseysMom · 30/01/2019 21:10

Dickybow... glad you're ok after your ordeal and ready to get back in the ttc saddle!

Good luck for tomorrow Cleo x

Thanks for the new alphabetical list Rose x

Cleozeta · 30/01/2019 21:21

Thank you rose, dickybow & boosey. Bricking it! Also scared of results of previous tests, I just hope they have some suggested solutions.

Dickybow - I hadn't thought of maca, what type & format? I think he'd be up for trying it

Chatbash72 · 30/01/2019 21:24

@Dickybow321 yes I do have 5,

Dickybow321 · 30/01/2019 22:40

Thank you Boosey ☺️

Cleo this website has some info on Maca for men. There is Maca in WM Conception but this article and others I've seen seem to suggest using more than is in WM. I was taking it in the form of capsules myself but I've pared my supplements right down so I'm not taking it anymore.

Dickybow321 · 30/01/2019 22:41

Wow Chatbash 😍

littlemimosa · 30/01/2019 23:01

Good luck Cleo for tomorrow. You’ll be grand. I’ll be there in spirit holding your hand🤝

Rose - thanks for the updated list. You’re like Monica from Friends getting everything organised!

Cleozeta · 30/01/2019 23:17

Dickybow - thank you, I'll take a look at that.

Mimosa - thank you!

Taxgirl1 · 31/01/2019 09:02

@cleozeta I haven't been on here for a few weeks but wanted to wish you good luck today as I remembered you were getting rest results. Hope it all goes well xx

Taxgirl1 · 31/01/2019 09:04

I hope all you other ladies are doing well. Wishing you all lots of baby dust x

anaconda76 · 31/01/2019 10:06

Good luck today, Cleo!

anaconda76 · 31/01/2019 10:13

I do try not to jump on every potential early preg symptom but my boobs have been really sore all week and that's made me quite hopeful. Then this morning I woke up with AF type cramps even though AF isn't due until Sunday. I walked into the bathroom only to have a big nose bleed. It could just be mother nature screwing with my mind or the fact that DD has kindly passed on her viral lurgy. I will NOT do an early test though. I can't deal with the disappointment.

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 13:06

@Taxgirl1 how are you? I know you were a bit upset last time you were on here.

@Anaconda76 it’s a total mind f**k isn’t it! Sometimes I do test early, it mostly depends if I could do with knowing for a night out, or if I can’t deal with the ‘am I / aren’t I’ anymore!

@Cleozeta I’m thinking of you...

anaconda76 · 31/01/2019 13:38

@Rose68 - I know! I bet I cave in and test before Sunday. I have no self control. Grin

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 13:40

@Anaconda76, go for it! We are all rooting for you.

Cleozeta · 31/01/2019 14:58

So......appointment was shit. Hycosy didn't happen and Dr was useless.

Wish I hadn't bothered

Russkispy · 31/01/2019 15:00

@Cleozeta , sorry it was shit. What happened there?! How come they didn't do it?!

Cleozeta · 31/01/2019 15:56

They said I didn't need it as I've conceived recently. Fine, but they could have told me that 6 weeks ago!! And now I've missed a cycle for nothing.
The Dr gave no advice or suggestions going forward, saying IVF & IUI were low success rate at my age and as as I've already conceived recently I should just carry on, completely brushing over the options of IUI & IVF like it was pointless for me. I was made to feel a but stupid for being there. She said the miscarriages happened because of age and my shotened LP was probably down to the mc and I should wait another 3 months to see if it improves. This is bollocks as I'm pretty sure the 2nd mc happened because of low progesterone and that is shown by the short LP I've had since.
Walked away fuming for so many reasons, and now feel completely hopeless with it all.

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 16:07

@Cleo I would also be absolutely fuming! I don’t understand the attitude of these clinics. Surely it’s your money and your choice if you want to try ivf?

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 16:08

Should you get your progesterone checked again?

Dickybow321 · 31/01/2019 16:08

Grrrr! That is so annoying Cleo Angry

Dickybow321 · 31/01/2019 16:14

I no longer believe the hype about age. I know someone who had a baby a few weeks before her 44th birthday. Baby was conceived by accident and was perfect when born. My best friend gave birth to healthy unexpected baby at 42. I'm always a bit sceptical with these stories on the Internet but these are people I know and have seen with my own eyes.

Cleozeta · 31/01/2019 18:10

Rose - maybe I should recheck progesterone but I don't think anyone is going to help me out with anything.

Was I wrong in expecting advice & suggestions at an hour long post test consultation? Just wondering, was I expecting too much?

anaconda76 · 31/01/2019 19:49

@Cleo I'm sorry you had such an awful appointment. The Dr sounds really negative and should perhaps consider a career change. Sad

Marty77 · 31/01/2019 20:03

Hi @Cleozeta

I'm the same age as you and there's 4 people I know last year had babies all naturally, I wouldn't have expected that attitude I don't know anything about IVF but I would expected better and I'm sure people of our age have IVF seems ridiculous x
