Letsdothis43 · 26/01/2019 18:25

Thanks @Mellongoose, how are you? Have been thinking of you x

Chatbash72 · 26/01/2019 18:26

Ooh sending lots of positive vibes to you @Letsdothis43 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕

Cleozeta · 26/01/2019 18:50

Lets - fingers crossed. Sounds like your egg has made great progress so far!

Letsdothis43 · 26/01/2019 19:12

Thanks @Chatbash72 and @Cleozeta its the first time that I feel like something could actually happen Ive never know if I've ever had an egg before let alone it fertilising!

Hobbes39 · 26/01/2019 19:28

Fingers crossed for you @Letsdothis43 !

BooseysMom · 26/01/2019 20:08

Just catching up ..again! I had that mad couple of days and then when that had gone past I go to ground and miss loads!

@Kath91..Welcome and good luck with your journey x

@Chatbash72.. thank you. What a nightmare on Boxing Day night! Your local hospital sounds terrific! Exactly what you need. We're not allowed to go to the one nearest us as it's not open when you need it so they send us to the big one which is awful.

@mellongoose..thank you. Rant entirely justified! I totally agree with you about younger women who abuse their bodies seeming to get loads of support but of course we're not allowed to say that as not pc! There is def a negative pov towards the older mother which is so unfair but hopefully we are putting an end to it right here ladies!! Grin

@PetraRabbit..thank you. I'm in bed right now in fact! DS already asleep after a very poorly day doing nothing but lying on the sofa. The good thing is his fevers have gone, the bad thing so has his appetite. He's hardly ate anything today. Hope he has a bit of something tomorrow Sad

@anaconda76.. thank you. That sounds exactly like what DS has. How is your DD now? My DS has lost his appetite and is not himself at all.

@Letsdothis43.. thanks very much. Great to hear your egg transfer was successful after a traumatic few days. Lots of positive vibes coming your way Smile Good luck x

anaconda76 · 26/01/2019 22:21

BooseysMom - She is much better today thank you. Her appetite is improving and her temp is back to normal. She's still got the cough and cold but I think she's winning now. Yesterday, the nurse actually said to me, "I bet this is the peak of this viral throat," and it appears she was right. I hope your little one is feeling much better soon.

Russkispy · 26/01/2019 22:26

@Letsdothis43 , everything crossed for you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

PetraRabbit · 26/01/2019 23:02

@Let'sdothis......thanks for sharing your update. I'm really hoping for you! Come on egg!!!

Presh12345 · 27/01/2019 06:59

Hi all, I had iui#3 last Wednesday. I'm on multiple vitamins, aspirin, clexane, progesterone tablets and progesterone gel. Last night I had a major bout of diahorrea. Had it again this morning. I've also noticed that if I hold my pee too long, when I get up to go, have such a pain in the right side until all the pee is out. Is this anything to be concerned about or has it happened anyone else? It didn't happen in my last 2 iui's. Have also pressure low down.

Realitysucks · 27/01/2019 09:30

@letsdothis43 I’ve just fought up on thread. For one egg to make it to day 5 must tell you something! Everything is crossed for you. I know the tww will be hard but it could just be this 1 egg! Massive hugs for you !!! Keep us posted x

@anaconda76 and @ BooseysMom hope little ones are better. One of you said that doctor said temp spikes were not to be concerend with. That’s utter crap! In my line of work I see so many cases of little ones being sent home with high temps which then goes onto serious complications. Do not feel like you are a time waster. You are their mothers, if you think something is wrong it usually is so just go with your gut.

With my DS he had a temp at about a year old, I took him to a&e in the middle of the night the doctor wasn’t concerned and sent us home. 3 hours later I was back and he was admitted to icu. He lost his whole top layer of skin. Turned out he had a kidney infection that had gone systemic. I knew he wasn’t right and had led the hospital in tears after yelling at the doctor that there was something really wrong with him. I was only 25 at the time, my first and only child and they literally treated me like some young neurotic mother. Needless to say the same doctor them treated him and was full of all the apologies in the world !

weasledee · 27/01/2019 13:33

Fingers crossed let'sdothis!!
You only need that one golden egg :) x

PetraRabbit · 27/01/2019 14:38

Maybe I haven't missed a cycle after all? DH was away all fertile week: day 8 returning day 15....but after the dryest week ever, EWCM appears to be getting going today day 14 and yesterday my OPK started looking almost like a positive...he's back tomorrow. It's a long shot maybe but it cheered me up!

Letsdothis43 · 27/01/2019 15:48

@Booseymom, @Petrarabbit @RealitySucks @weasledee @Russkispy @Hobbes39 Thank you all so much

Hope you are all doing okay, it's the first time I've really thought about all the hurdles, you get past one and there is another waiting to trip you up, from follicle development to Egg collection to Fertilisation to egg development to egg transfer to BFP or BFN !!! its scary the whole damn way!

Russkispy · 27/01/2019 16:28

@Letsdothis43 stay positive or at least try! It might be hard at times but don't loose hope! Everything crossed for you!

anaconda76 · 27/01/2019 18:15

Reality - Wow. That's a scary experience. The nurse we saw on Friday did tell me to phone 111 if my little one's temperature didn't come down. I think it was little Boosey's HCP who said it wasn't too much to worry about. Hopefully he is much better today though.

anaconda76 · 27/01/2019 18:19

PetraRabbit - it sounds like you've got lucky like me. I was so convinced DH would be away for the important time but in the end he was around when it mattered. Fingers crossed!

BooseysMom · 27/01/2019 18:29

@anaconda76.. Thank goodness she's turned a corner now. How long had she been poorly for? My DS is in an awful state bless him He's had it since Tues. The fevers have gone but he's coughing constantly and hasn't eaten anything for 2 days. We're just making sure he has lots of drinks. He has had diarreoah and it was just orange fluid with a few lumpy bits..sorry tmi! Should I get him to the doc's tomorrow do you think? Hmm

@Realitysucks... i am utterly gobsmacked at what happened to you and your poor DS. No wonder so many people have little trust in doctors and hospitals. It must have been a nightmare for you. That doctor deserved to be sued. Thank goodness your DS was ok in the end. I'm so sorry you had to go thru that. Thank you for alerting me to the fact that that out of hours gp was talking crap. I honestly have no faith any more in what most of them advise

PetraRabbit · 27/01/2019 21:55

Anaconda- glad you hit the right time! Now I'm not sure about it....but going to try anyway. If ovulation is anything according to this group then it's unpredictable over 40!!!

anaconda76 · 28/01/2019 13:09

BooseysMom - sorry I've only just seen your message! I would definitely take him back to the docs. My daughter has had it for a week but luckily over the fevers now. The cough is still horrible though. She didn't have an upset tummy so your little boy's lurgy sounds worse. I hope he is feeling better today.

BooseysMom · 28/01/2019 20:28

anaconda76... that's ok! GrinThank you for asking about DS. Yes I got him an appointment this morn and the GP was obv well used to kids having 3 of her own!!(Totally opposite to the out of hours one who was awful) She was so lovely with him I almost cried! She examined him and said he's got a flu type virus and we just have to wait for it to go. She said the diarroeah is just a symptom of the virus but not an actual stomach bug if that makes any sense. He hasn't been sick and I was relieved today as he managed a bit to eat. His cough and sore scabbed lips are bothering him the most. He refuses Calpol but his fevers have gone now anyway. It must be the end now surely as it's a now week ago that it started.
Hope everyone is ok today xx

CritterTamer · 28/01/2019 21:05

Hi all

Booseys and Anaconda so sorry to read that your little ones are poorly - hope they're doing better today!

Letsdothis - all fingers and toes are crossed for your little embryo 🤞

AFM I'm back in hospital after passing some nasty black blood clots yesterday - midwife wanted it checked out so I'm here overnight for monitoring now. Just had a scan and both babies are doing OK so it's being put down to the low lying placenta again. They've said I'm going to have to come in for monitoring every time this happens and it usually keeps happening until around 24 weeks when they hope the placenta will have moved up - it's so stressful!

Hope everyone else is doing OK today xxx

Chatbash72 · 28/01/2019 22:16

Ooh @CritterTamer how many weeks are you now? An added stress you don't need.. sending big hugs.
Does anyone or has anyone experienced ov twinges day 24 on cycle.. have already ov this cycle.. so either ov is ready to chuck another one out or this cycle is a bust and it's gearing up for the next one??? Hmmmmm

CritterTamer · 28/01/2019 22:21

@Chatbash72 thank you - 19+1 today
