@CritterTamer I'm so happy and relieved for you. I've been thinking of you today. Take it easy now and I hope they keep a close eye on you. I'm sure they will. Lovely news.

@Dickybow321 I'm so sorry that you are in this scary limbo. I hope things resolve themselves soon and you are safe

Realitysucks · 22/01/2019 19:06

Hi Ladies,

So much to catch up on and I’ve only been gone two days !!!

Congrats to the BFPs ladies and fingers crossed for you both x

@CritterTamer my goodness what a couple of days for you. Am thinking of you Hun x x I really do hope scan went ok and bubs are ok x x

AFM I became an IVF Aunty yesterday 🤣🤣🤣The day after my 41st Birthday! My sister gave birth to her ivf baby a lovely boy weighing 7llb 14oz! She ended up with a c-section due to low lying placenta but all went well.

My terrible cold has returned and I’m due to have my infusion and scratch tomorrow! To top it off we have had a foot of snow here since 4:30pm! Just hoping I can get to the clinic tomorrow !

BooseysMom · 22/01/2019 19:38

@petrarabbit and @SparrowSG.Thank you both for your kind words xx

Cleo.. I don't get the timing of tests..I had both done on the same day when I had AF. I wonder then how accurate they really are Confused. I can't remember the results..they just said what they always say..that they're normal. They then refused to do them again recently as they said it wouldn't have changed since May which was frankly a load of b*locks!!

@CritterTamer.. so glad it went ok today and your babies are fine. The photos are fantastic. Just perfect! Makes me feel quite broody..and there's me saying I'm giving up!! Which is which sex wise? I don't like to guess!

@Dickybow321.. that sounds really stressful ..you poor thing. I echoe everyone here, that we're all there to support you when you need it. Hope things improve soon.. good luck xx

BooseysMom · 22/01/2019 21:17

Hi Reality.. a foot of snow?! Oh no! We've missed it so far. Congrats to your sister. Great they're doing well. Hope you get to the clinic safely tomorrow and you don't feel too poorly..take care & good luck x

Cleozeta · 22/01/2019 21:39

Critter - so pleased to hear the babies are ok. I'm sure the low lying placenta will rectify itself. Lovely pictures, what a perfect family set up with 2 in one go Smile

Reality - good luck at the clinic tomorrow

Dickybow - sorry to hear things are shit. That really does sound like a nightmare limbo. I hope it resolves soon.

Angelbabyollie · 22/01/2019 21:57

@Rose68 @Cleozeta thank you I was in pieces stupid dr google! And couldn't understand how I can go straight from having baby April to pat menopause which those numbers indicate- am having hip aches constantly so will have to wait till dr - it's a week Wednesday he 31st so annoying have to wait so long. sorry was all panic writing. Cd was 23 but my cycles have been 32 twice and 19 with a lot of spotting Pre cycle. This time nothing thou and cd 30. I feel so old and kinda embarrassed as my partner 38 and it's different for men! Thank you for you kindness and encouragement means a lot to have support xx

@CritterTamer fantastic news and love the pics xx

Realitysucks · 22/01/2019 22:31

@CritterTamer I seem to have skipped the page with the update! So glad all ok and brilliant pic!

@BooseysMom yup it’s stopped now was pretty dicey coming home from London! I live in a little village so worse here than main roads. Had to dump my car at the top of our close as We are at the bottom. Just hoping it doesn’t snow overnight. Have been so worried about tomorrow I just want it done now!

Hobbes39 · 22/01/2019 22:45

Have my official test date - with beta bloods tomorrow. I'm scared as I've had some bright red spotting this evening. Wasn't there earlier, no cramps, but just went to the toilet and panty liner (wearing due to progesterone gel discharge Confused) was red. Sad I can't bear it if this is going to go wrong again. I really had hoped this was our time. I was starting to feel more confident as (apologies for tmi) my cervix is really high - I know from inserting the pessaries - and I thought that was a good sign that surely AF can't be on her way. Why do these things had to be so hard.

PetraRabbit · 22/01/2019 22:49

Oh Critter. What lovely babies!!! I am guessing T1 is the boy and T2 the girl? I got really into gender guessing theories at one point so hope I'm right!! So glad all is ok and you have an explanation at last.

Dickiebow- my heart goes out to you. I agree an ectopic sounds terrible, scary and defeating but try to wait to see if that's really what's going on. Sending big hugs. Please let us know how things progress.

Alibingo- I'm also considering IVF. I'm 44 in a few months. The stats are offputting but I feel I will do it if I'm still going nowhere in 3 months or so. I feel like having another baby is essential and I just have to find a way.

PetraRabbit · 22/01/2019 22:50

Hobbes- thinking of you too!

AliBingo · 22/01/2019 22:55

@petrarabbit that's how I feel too, it's such a gnawing yearning isn't it. The clinic suggested today that we use donor eggs but that's not for me x

littlemimosa · 22/01/2019 23:23

Critter - so glad the babies are ok. What a relief. The photos are wonderful. They look perfect. I bet you can’t stop staring at them!

Dickybow- thinking of you hun. You must be beside yourself with worry. We’re all here for you.

Hobbes - good luck for tomorrow. Don’t lose hope yet.

AFM, af is imminent. I don’t need to take a test to know I’m not pregnant (again!). I know my pre-AF set of symptoms inside out. Anyhow, not too disappointed this cycle as I ovulated too early on cd5/6 and we only managed to dtd once as it caught me by surprise. Onwards and upwards.

Chatbash72 · 22/01/2019 23:24

@CritterTamer fab pics.. glad all is ok with them, but damn that low lying placenta, fingers crossed it will move itself up..
@Dickybow321 sending lots of hugs and hoping that Mother Nature gets a kick up the bum and you have to have neither the injection or surgery... 😞
@Realitysucks congrats on becoming an auntie.. no snow here thank goodness.. it's so pretty but hate driving in it..
big hugs to all xxx

CritterTamer · 23/01/2019 07:48

@Petrarabbit - yes you're correct, T1 is the boy and T2 the girl 😊

@Hobbes39 - thinking of you this morning, hope all is OK. As I've just discovered bleeding isn't necessarily a bad sign!

@realitysucks wishing you well for your scratch today - hope the snow doesn't get in the way.

Russkispy · 23/01/2019 08:10

@CritterTamer , glad to read about babies are doing fine!
@Hobbes39 , hope there nothing to worry about!
@Realitysucks good luck with the procedure today! I had it last March, waited a cycle and had IUI in May and got BFP. Sadly it ended in MMC. But believe scratch helped for BFP. Fingers crossed!
No show here and heading out to reflexology shortly 😉

onemorego2019 · 23/01/2019 08:52

I think I'm out ladies. Wasn't feeling quite right yesterday, very in pregnant. Took a test again this morning and negative (maybe a slight shadow if I really squint. Now just been to the loo and wiped pink. Some cramping too but nothing major 😕

onemorego2019 · 23/01/2019 08:53

That should have said not feeling very pregnant 😩

Cleozeta · 23/01/2019 09:29

Sorry to hear that onemorego. Why do these things keep happening to us?? It's so unfair. If we were 17 years old and completely incapable and inapproprate to have a baby, it would be an easy straight forward lasting pregnancy. Nature you are confused Sad

Karigan195 · 23/01/2019 09:39

I don’t actually agree Cleo. There are tons of people on the pregnancy threads that have the same happen. I think because we’re testing earlier we are just finding out about things like chemicals or very early losses that we would never have known about previously.

I think all we can do is take heart that it means it can happen and just keep having sex.

I’m sorry onemorego. Sending positive thoughts and crossing fingers for you.

Hobbes39 · 23/01/2019 09:40

@onemorego2019 - Ug - im so sorry. I'm still holding out hope for - I feel in a similar place - have had the pink and feel a bit cranky and don't feel v pregnant, but I haven't tested again..
I find out about 1pm today what my beta is, so will see. If it's really low I know I'm out as given the strong positive I had it should be reasonably high. If this is it, then that's the end of the road for me as I just can't take yet more dashed hopes.
As @Cleozeta says - nature is so stupid, it's ridiculous how easy it is to be pregnant when you are a teenager and in no way ready to have a baby, but now... why it has to be so hard I don't know.

Cleozeta · 23/01/2019 09:40

Hobbes hope all ok, let us know how you get on today

onemorego2019 · 23/01/2019 10:13

Thank you and fingers, toes everything crossed for you @Hobbes39 xx

Hobbes39 · 23/01/2019 12:59

Thanks all for good wishes - it helped. I'm a shaking wreck after a v nervous phonecall, but so relieved to say that all is ok for now - my beta was a good number - 391 - and bleeding has stopped for now. Now I'm on my own til 7 week scan in 3 weeks time. Time is going to stand still between now and then 🙈 x

Presh12345 · 23/01/2019 13:04

Just been for iui#3 and then for McDonald fries.....Will try anything.

Am a bit concerned, although would never say, but hubbys post wash was 3m with 25% rapid swimmers. Is this ok? He has been so good regarding alcohol and taking the tablets but he found it really difficult to "get it done" today and now he's very despondent and wondering what's the point. 😓

It isnt just him. We have been told it's a combined thing.....my older eggs, his older sperm.
