Oh crap, I've just written reply twice and lost it!

Damn. Must be the wine ive decided to hit this eve to try and relax!

Thanks ladies. Wanted to say that jm glad you dont have to dtd that much to conceive. We have a long period to cover since my cycles havent regulated yet post BF and miscarriage. But the opks really stress me out and i feel i messed it up this time!!

I had night sweats a few years ago which i thought was a bit strange but i put it down in the end to the heating i had on over the winter and also fluctuations you have over the cycle with hormones i.e. progesterone after ovulation. Then they went away. I also had weird ringing in my ears 7 days post ovulation previously as well which i understood as the cycle not being successful but i had no evidence of it and it also went away!

olivia12 · 16/01/2019 20:01

Thank you Cleozeta, Rose68 and Gizmojo. I am feeling better, I just wish I hadn’t got my hopes thinking it was implantation bleeding!

I have just started trying so I guess it’s a learning curve. Thank you for your comments. 💕

BooseysMom · 16/01/2019 20:05

@mahotsukai...thanks for your lovely msg. Wishing you a healthy happy New Year too Smile

@letsdothis43... great to hear the results of your scan.. best of luck xx

I was convinced I had hit bullseye this cycle..I had all the signs. Very sore and tingly breasts and mild cramp, alot of mucus, nausea. But now I know AF is coming. I have awful pmt and cry for no reason and DH & DS are both driving me insane so I'm in bed to escape! All my hopes are dashed again Sad

Cleozeta · 16/01/2019 21:15

Gizmojo - try not to stress about it (stress can make it worse) hear what your gp has to say, get the test if need be and take it from there. If it is peri then it could go on for years, so it's not over yet.

Petra - I'll be skipping next cycle too sadly because of the timing of the hycosy. I feel the same. I don't have time to waste and feel it's a precious month out of the very few I have left. Gutting.
As for ewcm, it's very common for ov to happen quite a bit after ewcm - but nut before. Mine us usually 2 or 3 days after.

Snowie - how interesting that you had all that and then it went away! Do you think you may have had a temporary imbalance perhaps?

Boosey - Af not here though? So not out yet....

PetraRabbit · 16/01/2019 21:34

Booseys- I'm still hoping for you. It could still happen. I hate that feeling of impending doom.

Cleo- thanks! At least the hycosy is essential information gathering I suppose, but still annoying. I think I'll have to just try to lose a few pounds and eat well just to build up nourishment for future cycles. It's the only positive thing I can really do. Hoping for a really early Ov but it seems unlikely!

PetraRabbit · 16/01/2019 21:34

And Cleo- glad you are back!

Chatbash72 · 16/01/2019 22:14

Goodness, much activity today.. forgive me if I miss someone..
@Cleozeta glad you are back Cd1 is a shit storm over emotions and pain.. sending lots of love.
@Gizmojo I've not hit peri yet but as long as af still comes there is still a chance
@BooseysMom af not hit yet 🤞🤞
@olivia12 sorry it's not implantation bleeding 😞
@PetraRabbit jump him just before he goes... then at least you'll have some swimmers in situ
Sending lots of love to you all..
I'm not feeling it this month.. normally quite happy to pounce on dh every few days but mmmmmhhhhhh really not in the mood.. really tired but it's that kinda month and it's soooo grey.. even though I'm taking my vit d.. oh well best crack on with the Christmas cheese and chocs xx

Cleozeta · 16/01/2019 23:52

Thanks pertra!
I'll be attempting to eat healthy and excersize too, weather I actually will is another matter! Hoping for a very late ov here...

Thanks chat!
Hopefully the christmas chocs & cheese will get you back into the mood haha

hmmm123 · 17/01/2019 08:55

How frustrating @PetraRabbit. I had the same problem this month and feel that it was such a waste as I had really strong ov pains as if body was going come on you are running out of time and you are wasting time!!!!

This month ov day is on a day that I am away with work I think ( and the only day this month.. typical! )which is annoying but I'm hoping we can get lots of action in before we go!

BooseysMom · 17/01/2019 09:04

Morning everyone.. and thank you Cleo, Chat & Petra Smile strangely my dark omg mood has lifted over night which is what happened with DS, and yes, AF not made an appearance as yet so i'm still in! Grin
Have a good day ladies..the sun is shining x

BooseysMom · 17/01/2019 09:05

Ha! Dark omg mood!?? What is this phone doing?! Meant dark PMT mood!!

Cleozeta · 17/01/2019 09:15

Fingers crossed for you boosey!

I have decided to take dhea again, but just for 2 weeks in an attempt to delay ovulation, it did last time, only this time I actually want it to! Can I take it alongside vitex? Or should I just accept that next month is a write off and try and get it over quickly to start the next cycle? What I don't want it to screw it up and not ovulate at all!

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:15

@Booseys sounds promising! FX for you x

@hmmm123 my DH will be away this month for ovulation day too 😞

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:16

Sorry Cleo, I don’t know x

hmmm123 · 17/01/2019 09:27

10dpo now and no AF although it feels imminent. No chance of bfp but at least my LP is ok this month . I read that anything less than 10 is a problem

@BooseysMom glad you are feeling better. Sun is shining here too and makes a massive difference doesn't it?

@Rose68 rubbish about your dh being away

@Cleozeta I don't know what I would do. I think maybe I would be worried about messing up cycles completely but it's difficult...

worked out to tag people in posts!

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:37

I think my ov will be Friday or Saturday next weekend, DH goes away 9am Friday morning 😬

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:44

Maybe I should stop this month in an attempt to bring ov forward slightly......

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 10:20

That was meant to be stop dhea 🙄

Cleozeta · 17/01/2019 11:25

It would be a good experiment to see if it works that way for both of us!

Snowie3 · 17/01/2019 13:44

Interesting since my ovulation has been later too and am taking DHEA. Is there any evidence for this and does it matter?

LynnC77 · 17/01/2019 15:00

Thanks for the welcome guys
Now out of my depressive mood after AF showed 4 days ago so feeling positive and looking forward to my next fertile window.
@BooseysMom been trying 9 months , it's just frustrating the fact that I got pregnant the first month of trying and then miscarried x

Cleozeta · 17/01/2019 15:05

Snowie, I don't think there is scientific evidence of this, just going on experience

Snowie3 · 17/01/2019 15:09

Agreed Cleo, that's what's happening to me. I hope it doesnt mean it's detrimental but then i did get pregnant on ivf while on it but my ovulation happened sooner.

Does day of ovulation impact on chances of conceiving? Urgh there's so much to think about!!

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 15:29

@Snowie & @Cleo I googled it a little this morning and it seems quite normal for dhea to push ov back by a day or so. I think it’s probably a good thing as the egg gets a little extra cooking time. I ovulated on day 14 of my cycle for the first time in years last month. Day 14 seems pretty spot on. x

Snowie3 · 17/01/2019 16:30

Sure that sounds good Rose!

My ovulation is at day 20 so a week later than it has been! Which hasnt helped knowing/predicting when my fertile week is. I think im going to cut back on the DHEA. How much do you take? I was on 75mg but had really bad insomnia so taking 50mg now, think i will drop to 25mg.

That's what worries me with messing around with things since you worry if it could be making matters worse. But maybe as you say the egg has more cooking time with later ovulation.

Im not happy though with such a late ovulation. At least it's good to find out now rather than later if this is the problem.
