Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

@ratherbe everyone is different but I am 100% sure if you drink alcohol until 6 or 7 weeks it is fine.
Not that you would if you found out at 4 weeks keep drinking but the evidence shows it doesn't get passed over.
Some people would rather not drink in the 2ww but I think the occasional drink is OK. Is it the best thing to do when TTC? No. Of course you are more healthy if you cut down and don't but I think as long as in moderation or an occasional blow out it's.fine. From the research I have done anyway. But each to their own.

Rose68 · 07/01/2019 14:37

@Rather, yes I agree, most tests should pick it up by 12dpo, particularly a frer, so if it was me I would test and if a bfn I would have a few drinks. FX for a bfp though! x

@kinsters that is fab news!!
Re PCOS yes diet does make a huge difference. I'm convinced cutting out basically everything helps me to ovulate. When I think about it, I used to be a sugar addict so used to eat bags and bags of Haribo and choc regularly, so no wonder I wasn't ovulating back then.

@rather I understand what you are saying. I think 12dpo should show up on a preg test.

Sorry to switch it back to me.... but back to me.... 😂
So I’ve got my hcg results back
On Friday they were 3.6

So that was 33,000 on day before confirmed no hb
194 - 10 full days after erpc (10th Dec)
34 - 17 days after erpc (17th Dec)_
Negative hpt 19 days after erpc (so presume under 20 maybe even 15) (19th Dec)
Bleed (af?? ) 24th Dec
Hcg 3.6 (4th Jan)

Anyone know what I should do now??
Could there be retained product with hcg 3.6??
There’s been no sign of Ov since erpc.

Waiting for Dr to call (receptionist gave me figures) - should I be pushing for a scan??

Frazzlerock · 07/01/2019 14:45

@Rachy didn't someone here say anything less than 5 was normal non pregnant figures?

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 07/01/2019 14:46

Rachy that is a negative test as far as I am aware? hcg is approx 5 in non-pregnant women anyway

Rachyrach83 · 07/01/2019 14:52

I think I said that but I thought that was just when it was falling, I did t know ‘nornal’ Women had hcg?? Wondering if this is why I’ve not Ov as it must have only just got passed 5??

TwittleBee · 07/01/2019 14:59

hmm... its only just been start of AF for you 2 weeks ago so you could Ov any time now? I guess, MCs are known for messing some people's cycles up for a while?

As for not ovulating because your hcg levels have only just gone below 5... I got a bloomin BFP post ovulation? So perhaps it doesnt have to get to below 5 just low enough for body to realise it is no longer pregnant?
