Hello all of you lovely mumsnet peeps! So I have literally just created an account right now.

Just stopped my mini pill. Have a 15 month old son, excited and nervous to try for baby 2! Baby one came after first period from stopping pill which i know was very fortunate but its given my high expectations for this time...which is not a good thing as chances are wont happen that way twice. Trying to be realistic and casual about it.

Anyone else trying for second... or first?

I’m going to have to google the hair test now, I’m intrigued 🧐

Thats so weird @Scarletrose18, why would they do that?? I would HATE someone going in my room, family or not.

Do you think you'll mention it, @Scarletrose18? Bit awkward isn't it. I can't think of any reason why I'd need to go into someones bedroom when babysitting? How awful if she was noseying through your things!!

Urgh my stomach feels really heavy and AFish right now. Not sore, just tender and big, if that makes sense. @Scarletrose18 and @Mfbroome, did you feel like that before your period made an appearance? Can't remember if thats normal for me.

@PastaSauceHoarder I felt like that last month before got my period but they say early pregnancy and pre menstral signs are so similar it’s impossible to differentiate. I hope it’s good news, fingers crossed for you. No news is good news 🍀✨👍🏼

I didnt feel my tummy was bloated it was a bit sore, cramps and I got a headache... i just knew felt i knew it was coming @pastasaucehoarder but as @coco said thats the problem pre menstrual and early prg symptoms are so similar. I really feel for you, the not knowing is horrible.
What will u do tonight to try to distract yourself a bit?
I know i feel a bit violated lol. She prob just had a peek and left again 🤥 thankfully i made the bed before work ha ha.

Im just about to change ds nappy and put him to bed then a nice cuppa tea and teen mom OG for me 🙂 ooh lovely, a bath will help destress you @cocobana you will feel nice and chilled after.

@Scarletrose18 thanks, it did, nothing like a hot bath to relax you. I hope you enjoyed your teen mom OG, I’ve been watching that lately too, it has a different feel with the feel new Moms I think.
@PastaSauceHoarder I tend to get water retention before af which can make me feel bloated, maybe it could have been that? Or gas like you said lol. Hope you sleep a lot better tonight, it’s hard when you’re not getting your sleep.

@Scarletrose18 hope your day is alittle better for you than yesterday. I know I miss farah in it too even though she was a very unlikeable person. I find I enjoy it when the OG Moms are in it but as soon as it changes to the new Moms I lose interest abit. It might just be a case of just getting used to them.
Did you sleep any better last night @pastasaucehoarder? I’m finding i’m tired and would happily be flat out all night if it wasn’t for ds waking to come in our bed at an ungodly hour lol. How are you symptoms? I’ve been getting a lot of cramps today and feel like AF is on its way. I think it’ll come Friday as expected if not earlier judging by how I’m feeling.

I didn't sleep too great again. 😴 My eczema is playing up all over my arms and legs and at one point I woke up crazy itchy so had to get myself up to cover myself in cream. 😫
Also had a dream that I started bleeding pink blood and got a BFN. I'm almost looking forward to AF coming just to put my mind at rest. We're due on the same day!

Awh, are they painful cramps @Cocobana? I'm still just getting mild ones, but its been every day of the TWW so far!

Also a bit of a personal question, but whats your CM like right now?

Hope you sleep better tonight, you’ll be shattered. Not too painful but an uncomfortable dull ache and pains in my lower back along with some sharp pains in my abdomin. AF definitely on its way for me. CM hasn’t been very much at all and just odd little bit of slippery clear. I know my period is coming I can just tell. How about you? Are your symptoms normal before your af?

I don't really get many symptoms before AF, I get cramps and brown spotting the two days before and thats about it. Unless theres more and I've never paid attention. 🤔

So I should start spotting tomorrow, maybe the day after. My CM is the same, there doesn't seem to be much at all (but there feels like there is, if that makes sense? )

Also pasta because I’m only 7dpo it would be too early for anything else as they say implantation occurs 7-10 days most commonly on day 9. That means my symptoms are definitely af arriving soon. I did expect it though.

I know what you mean exactly, sorry if this is tmi but every time I go to toilet and wipe I expect loads and there’s hardly any! Usually I get an increase just before af so expect that from Thursday.

Hows everyones day been? I bought some more Christmas deccies earlier so they'll probably go up tomorrow. And our local Peacocks is shutting down so I managed to snag DD some absolute bargains in the sale (shes just gone into her 12-18m's so in need of new stuff!)

Feel VERY crampy today so I'm almost positive that I'm going to start spotting soon.

I know @PastaSauceHoarder this thread is great isn’t it. We owe it to you @scarletrose18 for creating it! I think these issues can be hard to talk to people in real life about and the support on here is fab. My day has been good, it’s weird you say that pasta because I’ve been looking for some extra decs too, I’m going shopping on the weekend so hopefully I’ll find some! I feel my Christmas tree needed a couple new additions and I’d like acouple of other festive pieces. Wow I wonder if my local peacocks has a sale, is it just your branch closing or the whole chain?
Oh no hope it’s not AF, I feel so periody it’s unvelievable and tbh sooner it’s here the better as sick of the build up

No way, I owe it to all of u ladies for joining in on the thread because I feel like I have learnt so many new things, and had people to talk to about things that I have noone else to chat to about in real life. And things that if i did chat about in real life people would think i was crazy. I appreciate u all 💖

P.s I feel like time is going so slowly waiting for fertile time. I dont know how i will cope with 2ww.

I downloaded the ovia app now that I have a period date to put into it and it seems good thanks for the recommend @pasta Its doing a countdown until my fertile time (8 days it says)

@Scarletrose18 aww thank you so much, hopefully ds will sleep through tonight allowing me a good nights rest. Hope you sleep well too. I’ve learnt so much from this thread too and appreciate you, pasta and all the lovely ladies who’ve commented as well.
Oh no sorry your time until fertile is going slow, hopefully Christmas coming up may take your mind off it alittle. 8 days will soon fly over at this time of year especially. I know ttc feels so much more complicated this time around. With ds I didn’t track anything or have a clue about opks and brazil nuts lol and didn’t think about when I was DTD or anything. I am so grateful that I was so lucky the first time at least. I supposed we can’t complain. What will be will be with ttc dc2 we can only but try. I’m going to download the ovia app too in time for next cycle.

@PastaSauceHoarder hope your eczema is feeling better and that you slept better last night? You know that dream you said you had about the pink blood I had a similar dream last night!? What the hell!! I think this ttc is messing with our heads
