Hello all of you lovely mumsnet peeps! So I have literally just created an account right now.

Just stopped my mini pill. Have a 15 month old son, excited and nervous to try for baby 2! Baby one came after first period from stopping pill which i know was very fortunate but its given my high expectations for this time...which is not a good thing as chances are wont happen that way twice. Trying to be realistic and casual about it.

Anyone else trying for second... or first?

7 weeks, im sure that was a super dark line! I would like to use the clear blue ones for Decembers cycle but Im like you, I would be testing everyday from about 7days po so ill maybe just buy one clear blue and about 100 cheap ones next month 😂😂 @mfbroome weve all been guilty of it. Oh really? Thats rotton that u feel af is defo coming... although I was certain af was coming the other week and instead i ovulated and u can get implantation cramps, cant you. 😉

I dont have one symptom @cocobana and I know it sounds silly but I dont feel pregnant at all (do ya know what I mean ya'll 😁) Plus we only dtd that once so I think im safe for this month lol. (Im going to be running upstairs and joining @broome in an early pt in a minute 😂)
So will this next AF (if it comes) be your third period since stopping pill? Sorry if you have already told me this. I know, its been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for you this month so far.

What months were everyones dc born again?

You mentioned the weather the other day and I never commented back on it @pasta but yes its been crazy here too... the wind is howling outside and its so dark and grey. Im cuddled up on the sofa with ds trying to find the motivation to make dinner lol. Soneone send me some dinner over please to save me cooking?? I like everything except mushrooms 😂🤣😂

@Mfbroome oh no sorry to hear that you think af maybe on it’s way. I hope it’s not but if it is you can join me and @Scarlet for ttc in December! That must have been a shock finding out at 7 weeks with your dc2 but a lovely surprise.
@Scarletrose18 this will just be my second AF since coming off the pill, I came off the pill on 15th October. I think there’s afew of on for ttc in December but I do hope some of us have some luck for November ✨✨

haha @Scarletrose18 I know it’s so cold and horrible outside and dark arrghhh! I need the Christmas lights and decorations up to cheer me up, can’t wait to decorate on Saturday! Dinner is on and table set aaa me and ds will eat together and I’ll leave dh’s for him to eat later when he gets home from work.

Same here, was supposed to be ds and I for dinner but because I left it so late, and dh was home a bit earlier tonight, we all ate together. Im just finished cleaning the kitchen (fyi, rice a kitchen I try to keep clean and a 1 year old dont mix well 😂)

when will your dh be home? Will u dtd tonight again to be sure? @cocobana

Hopefully you dont have another cycle and this is your month! 🙂 but if not, im sure by your third cycle it will behave itself more

@Scarletrose18 that’s lovely that you all got to eat together. We eat together on a weekend or if dh is off but through working week is usually me and ds and then dh will eat his later. I’ve cleaned the kitchen, had a shower while ds played outside door and got ds ready for bed. Doesn’t it always feel good to get all sorted and relax for the evening!? Dh home now and ds is his shadow at the moment! Not going to DTD tonight, I had negative opk this afternoon and the surge has gone and I just know there’s not much point with the amount of time now until AF plus we’re shattered lol and need a rest. Hopefully it will behave itself next month (fc) December may be the month for most of us! 🍀✨

Oh and rice is a killer lol i spilt half a bag once (can’t blame ds but do blame dh for not sealing the bag properly it almost leapt out cupboard at me really ) Despite vacuuming numerous times I was finding rice for weeks!

Lately weve been the same, its hard doing dinner on your own isnt it? My ds definitely plays up with me and then daddy gets home and hes like "mummy who??" Lol. He cries when my dh leaves the room, I leave the room and he doesnt even notice 😂😂
Yes it feels good to relax knowing things are done.
Maybe.... not too long to find out 😊
I bought some marvelous creations today so going to put ds to bed and then have one with a cuppa

@Scarletrose18 it’s not as bad since ds has got a little older, it used to be worse when he was younger and clinging to my legs more. He’s got alittle more independent than he used to be but still has his moments bless him. Aww I think it’s just because daddy is a novelty as he doesn’t see him as much, I bet if you went out for the day your little one would pine for you. So jealous of your choccy I literally have no chocolate in the house except Christmas gifts.... lol I can’t can I!?

Hello lovely ladies, I'll have a read and a catch up shortly.

I've been shamefully symptom spotting today. Currently I'm having little crampy pelvic pain waves on the left side. I definitely had similar before I found out I was pregnant with DD - I will not get my hopes up, I will not get my hopes up...

Plus I've been HORRIBLE to DH the last couple of days. Really snippy and I've felt like crying all day today. I'm actually wondering if I'm due AF early due to ovulating earlier this month. If so then maybe I'm just hormonal. I'm CD19 today, 4DPO.

Sorry, that was all a bit me me me then, wasn't it? Just wanted to write it all down!

Okay so surely not... I just went to the toilet for a quick wee and (really sorry if TMI!) there was brown discharge when I wiped...? But I'm only on CD19?

@Scarletrose18 I was good I didn’t dig into the Christmas gift chocs but I was very tempted and have done that in the past and had to replace 🤦🏼‍♀️
Thanks for the pregnancy test recommendations, I’ll have to order some for the next cycle.
@PastaSauceHoarder oh wow those symptoms sound really positive. Eeee fingers crossed for you!! It’s too early to be AF for you and you’ve ovulated so it can’t be that. It sounds like spotting as well! When will you take a pregnancy test? Will you wait until say of expected AF or take one a few days before it? ✨✨✨🍀

@coco Nice to get some alone time, feels luxurious doesnt it. I set my alarm for 7 this morning to get up and get a wash on but ds heard it too so no alone time for me lol

I took a PT this morning and it was negative, which is fine as we did choose to wait, but I feel a little dissapointed, its making me certain I want to ttc next month though 🙂

@Scarletrose18 it does, it’s such a treat. Ds has just woke up now, it’s been a lovely peaceful morning. Me and dh actually got to have a cup of tea together lol.
Aww sorry about your pregnancy test @Scarlet, it wouldn’t be too early still would it? I feel the same. I feel more ready for a second child than I ever have before. I’m scared that the more I want it the harder it will be though like I’m going to curse it in some way. I see ds and really want to give him a sibling as I feel he’s ready for a little playmate too.

I REALLY don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm happy to report that theres been no more discharge so I reckon I can definitely rule out AF (which would've meant it was like a week and a half early anyway)

@PastaSauceHoarder best to wait and then at least you’ll be sure but it’ll be so tempting to take a test sooner! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that November is your month Pasta! I’m with @scarlet and waiting off december now I think. I ovulated later this cycle and due for that the luteal phase very short so pregnancy is unlikely. I’m getting ready to just enjoy Christmas and so excited to ass DS’s face. I’m putting my decs up on Saturday as well, the morning are so dark and horrible I think it’ll be lovely to come down in the morning and turn on the tree lights.
