Taxgirl - it's surprisingly heartbreaking when we get news like that, we shoukd be happy for them, but it just hurts. Hope you are ok.

Wishing - I can see it! Fingers crossed for you. Give it another couple of days and test again, it'll hopefully be much darker by then.

Apparently we are more fertile after a chemical but I'm trying not to pin my hopes on that!

Thanks Russkispy I'm not counting my chickens though.. been here before as many have.. I'm only 6DPO as I got my solid smiley on Monday just gone.
So I'm thinking it's far far too early. But there IS Def a line I can see it clearer at home than on the pics.. x

Thanks Cleozeta.. I'm not going to mention it to DP until I'm sure.. just hate seeing his sad face when it doesn't work out. Think that breaks my heart the most x

As for me.... I still feel nauseous (on and off) and my boobs are still slightly tender (the same as they have been all the way through). Plus I haven’t been spotting for the last couple of days. I am 2 days into a very long 13 day wait, and I have no idea what to think. x

I see a clear second line, but it looks kinda close to the control line to me? Definitely try again in two days - I really hope this is it for you @wishingonastar77 🤞

Rose, it's sounding positive. Do you have to wait 2 weeks? And why? I would have thought you should be able to get a scan in a week?

I have also wondered about being scanned in one week rather than two, but at the time I couldn’t think straight and I just accepted everything they said. Part of the problem of going on my own I guess.

@wishing I can see it! Keeping the fingers crossed it'll get darker over the next few days. I got my solid smiley on Tuesday ... have frers in cupboard...have had pinches, pulls and slight cramps...now resisting the urge to crack them open 😊

Rose - I’m sorry it wasn’t as positive an outcome as you’d hoped. What a hard thing to do to just sit and wait for two weeks! Is a private scan an option?

AFM - still no ovulation & still getting hot flashes. So depressed. Going to stick with the TCM and the six sessions of acupuncture I’ve paid for then think about booking to see an endocrinologist. Even if it is peri menopause im worried 42 is just too young for this. Apart from wanting another baby I’m worried about my general health. Im getting tired from not sleeping well and they say that low oestrogen for years can be a risk for bone health. Feeling v v down.

Btw, does anyone know what is actually IN the yummy tea?? I keep asking but he sort of evades the question lol.....

Mimosa - sorry to hear you are still struggling with your cycles, I felt like this last year and was also worried about my general heath. I am currently feeling so much better after taking many suppliments and TCM. My energy is up, and I just feel so much healthier alongside my cycles being currently stable (I keep saying currently as it could change at any minute!) But I just want you to know it can be turned around. These bloody hormones have a lot to answer for when it comes to our health though!
I think seeing someone would be a good idea. What exactly does an endocrinologist do?
As for the yummy herbs, its different stuff depending on your perscription but its all natural medicinal stuff. Berries and bark stuff from forests kind of stuff I think! But it works so I don't care

Critter I certainly hope you're wrong ivf might take a few cycles to work. I know it took 2 for you but hope next month will be lucky for me.
Presh it's hard isn't it? I'm purposely avoiding friends pregnant with no 2 as much as I can, not accepting invites etc because I just can't face them, it's too hard :(
WishingonaStar- 6dpo is v early but the line is there so fingers crossed it only gets darker!
Mimosa- it's actually interesting, at my clinic the consultant asked me to stop the herbs as people don't know what's in them and there's been some research done that's found traces of arsenic! I'm sure that's not the case with our places else Cleo wouldnt be feeling so much better lol but I stopped as asked. Hope the TCM/endocrinologist helps and your cycles, energy and mood return to normal very soon 🤞

An endocrinologist is basically a hormone doctor. Not just for women’s sex hormones but things like thyroid, adrenals etc too.

I feel ok about taking the herbs Orchid. I’m fussy about what I put in my body but the place I go to has been in business for years and years. It’s always busy and has a good reputation. I can understand your reluctance tho. Cleo’s enthusiasm for it has swayed me too!

Actually my TCM guy said something about goji berries and mushrooms amongst other things. It tastes rancid mind you....

Mimosa-I'm not reluctant, I've taken the herbs for 5 months! My place has a good reputation and has been in business for a v long time too so I'm not worried or anything but if the clinic wants me to stop that's fine, God knows I spent a fortune on TCM without much to show for it so I'm ok stopping the herbs (I'm continuing acupuncture until after my ivf cycle is finished)

Tmi.....just had the teeny tiniest bit of pink when I wiped. Like teeny. Was mixed in with mucus....which could have been the progesterone gel that I have to insert every night.

Morning Ladies, new week! Presh how are you? Fingers crossed it's not AF!
Here I am expecting AF any moment now, thought it would have been yesterday or def today but so far no show..? Temps dipped down this morning, I was expecting it as have been POAS few times last days and always clear BFN...oh well I wasn't expecting much this cycle as I think we missed our window... but so far I've not had any usual AF symptoms, aching back and dragging feeling... in fact I'm feeling pretty good! No pregnancy symptoms either whatsoever, so just hanging here waiting... roll on cd1!

Orchid - it's possible some dodgy back street TCM places might put crap in there 'herbs' but I think as long as you go to a fully qualified reputable practitioner it will be absolutely fine, it's just natural stuff.

Mimosa - I was getting some hot flashes, not sure about the dry eye but I was definitely dry 'elsewhere'!

I think deffo go see the hormone dr, I'd be interested to hear what he has to say! 42 is definitely too young for peri and there may be something that can be done.

Presh - fingers crossed for you! Have you tested again?
