Great news shiny, that's brilliant!

Critter I had my AMH tested earlier in the year although if I remember correctly Cleo had low AMH and still got pregnant so I think that tells you how reliable (not!) That number is.
Cleo not sure when I'm starting but soon I'm waiting for the protocol now.

Oh wow @shinyblackdog huge congratulations!!! That's so lovely to hear.

@Rose68 don't worry. I've not actually vomited either. Just constant oppressive nausea. Im 11.3 now and it has mostly gone. Still exhausted though. Looking forward to getting some energy back. With my last pregnancy I had no ms at all. I felt hungover for 16 weeks.

@CritterTamer you have my sympathies. Hang in there and know it's all for a good cause. Plenty of water and eat what you can when you can. So long as take your vitamins you'll be grand.

@littlemimosa thanks! Feeling better this week. Waiting for Tuesday then hopefully I can start to relax a bit.

mellongoose · 03/11/2018 07:12

@weasledee tentative congratulations. Keeping it all crossed for you.

Rose68 · 03/11/2018 07:57

Thank you Mellon, I don’t have much nausea yet. In the last couple of days I’ve started to notice a very slight feeling of nausea and I have been quite tired. x

Cleozeta · 03/11/2018 08:00

Shiney - congratulations thats amazing!! So pleased for you

Floof - I had 2 very successful pregnancies with only the travelsicky feeling. Never vomited once, some people don't, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Orchid - I've not had my AMH tested yet, it's my FHS that was mega bad (and I do think thats equal to asking a pile of poo for a fertility status. I'm only guessing AMH would be low as they do tend to match up. However AMH only tells you your egg quantity, not quality and it only takes one golden egg.

littlemimosa · 03/11/2018 08:33

Congratulations Shiny. More great news!

Weasel - any update from you?

weasledee · 03/11/2018 09:11

Don't think it's a real one, had a bfn on a random internet cheapy I found in the cupboard....
Just wish period would start to be honest, don't need any kind of delays!
So one more month.... (I know I keep saying this )

shinyblackdog · 03/11/2018 10:54

Thanks for all your lovely messages. It's a little sister for dd, who will be nearly four when she arrives in late March. She's very excited. I'll be 41. I had the Panorama test with microdeletions at 11 weeks, which gave us some reassurance but doesn't test for the anomaly that was found at 20 weeks with my last but one pregnancy, the last one ending in miscarriage at ten weeks (baby gone at 7+3, just after I had a scan at 7+2 when everything was fine).

FWIW, I was very surprised to get pregnant because it was my first cycle on clomid after mc, my lining was very thin at 6cm (they monitor it when you're on clomid), and dh's sperm test had come back with poor morphology - 2% rather than the normal 4%. He had started Proxeed and 1000mg vit C and I was on 100mg B6 and 200mg ubiquinol, plus acupuncture. I have only ever got pregnant when taking B6, and always within a couple of months of starting it (although I have only got past five months with two out of four pregnancies).

I'm still worried about what else could go wrong, as a result of terrible things friends have gone through, but for the moment I'm just maintaining a positive mental attitude.

shinyblackdog · 03/11/2018 10:56

Weasle, was the internet cheapie still in date?

Critter, sorry to hear about the nausea, it sounds horrible. But all in a good cause!

Presh12345 · 03/11/2018 11:00

So IUI#1 Done. Now have to.wait until 17th to test although period is due 13th. He said everything looked beautiful and even in just a week on vitamins, husband's sperm count had really improved. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Cleozeta · 03/11/2018 11:31

Weasle it may have been a dud test, those cheapie's can be really crap. I've had a batch of dud before.

Shiny - it's all sounding really positive so far this time. Try to relax and enjoy the experience now Smile

Can I ask about the B6? Do you take it all through the cycle, and did you stop when you got bfp?

Cleozeta · 03/11/2018 11:32

Presh - all sounds positive - good luck!

shinyblackdog · 03/11/2018 12:03

I take B6 all the way through the cycle and have only recently stopped. I originally self-prescribed for short luteal phase. I don't know what a doctor would have to say about it!

Fingers crossed for you Presh.

Russkispy · 03/11/2018 12:03

@Presh12345 good luck ! Everything crossed for you! And try not to test too early. Fingers crossed!

Rose68 · 03/11/2018 13:59

Good luck Presh 🤞

CritterTamer · 03/11/2018 14:14

Good luck @Presh12345 - hope the TWW passes quickly for you xxx

Russkispy · 03/11/2018 14:40

Can't decide what to do in December cycle if this IUI next week is unsuccessful.
A) TTC naturally with clomid and IVF in January
Or
B) go straight to IVF
Do we have one more push naturally in December or not bothered and go for ivf instead?
Can't decide and don't even know who to ask but you, lovely ladies. None of my friends know about last failed IUI. And I haven't told anyone about potential IVF. I don't have mum anymore but dad knows the situation and I know he wants me to have a sibling for our beautiful daughter. No matter how I get there. So I'm a bit stuck with my next decision if IUI fails again. But as I'm an optimist I'll hope it works!
Would like to hear your opinions. Thank you!!

weasledee · 03/11/2018 14:46

Good luck presh!!

As for me, AF arrived in force whilst out shopping

On to the next month.......

Rose68 · 03/11/2018 15:15

Hi Russkispy, that’s a toughie, and probably one only you can answer. Do you think you might have a chance at conceiving naturally? Do you want to give it one more go before ivf? I don’t know much about the drugs, but maybe it wouldn’t be great taking them over Christmas? However, having said that... I am very impatient and I am pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to wait.
I know the clinics are very careful about dates in December because of closing for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, so it’s possible the choice could be taken away.
That probably doesn’t help you at all!
I am sure this months IUI is going to work for you. xxx

Cleozeta · 03/11/2018 15:19

Russkispy - it's a tough choice. I'd be tempted to dive straight into IVF because I'm impatient, but then you would have the complications that the Christmas period would bring, so practicality wise it would probably be better to do it in Jan. You never know you may get lucky and not need it!

Weasle sorry af came. That happened to me with mine last week while out shopping too. In fact both of my miscarriages started in the John Lewis bog. Possibly even the same cubicle. I won't be going in there again if I am lucky enough to get another bfp

Russkispy · 03/11/2018 15:23

Thanks @Rose68 , if I go for IVF, I'd then start injections end of November and EC would be around 15-16 December. So no worries about Christmas timing etc
Sadly I never managed to fall pregnant naturally. Both times was with IUI. But at the same time wondering if natural cycle with Clomid would work (never had this way before). Or stop wondering and just go straight for IVF? In my head I'm going in circles

littlemimosa · 03/11/2018 15:29

Oh Weasel really sorry AF arrived. I was hoping you would be one of the recent flurry of bfps.

Russ - how old are you again? Have you ever done clomid before?

Russkispy · 03/11/2018 15:35

@weasledee sorry about AF. It sucks!
@littlemimosa I'm 42 and 43 in April. I had Clomid with my both successful IUI. And also last IUI which was BFN
Just asked DH the same questions about our next move. Now we're both running around in circles in our head. I absolutely hate unknown!

Chatbash72 · 03/11/2018 15:53

Ooh @weasledee so sorry af has arrived.. totally sucks.. good luck @Presh12345 and @Russkispy is probably skip the clinic till jan, natural ttc and clomid over Christmas and have a mini blow out and eat and drink what I fancy.. let your body have a last hurrah on the pate and gin front and relax..
