Yep, I hope it's good news Cleo 😊

I'm just back from the clinic who called me in for another scan as I've had a rough couple of days with the ohss. They've just confirmed a twin pregnancy! Two yolk sacs each with a perfect fetus measuring 6 weeks and 2 fluttering heartbeats!. I'm in total shock to be honest - sitting here in work unable to focus on a thing and achieving nothing....

Rose68 · 31/10/2018 11:38

Oh Critter, that’s such wonderful news, I am so happy for you. xxx

weasledee · 31/10/2018 11:48

We are a big punch in the face for stats on this thread

littlemimosa · 31/10/2018 14:40

Awww twins Critter how lovely!! Two for the price of one:-) (sorry couldn’t resist).

Ameliel · 31/10/2018 15:00

Ahh amazing news @CritterTamer , congratulations! So happy for you.

Presh12345 · 31/10/2018 15:35

Oh huge congrats @critter. Such lovely news. I've been for another appt today. After femara, I have 3 follicles on 1 side and 2 on other. Only 2 and possibly 3 are big enough though. Trigger shot tomorrow, first IUI on Saturday morning!

Cleozeta · 31/10/2018 16:17

Good luck presh!

So my new day 3 results are

LH 2.9
FSH 10.4

Would I be eligible for fertility treatment with this result?

CritterTamer · 31/10/2018 16:28

Good luck @Presh1234 🤞

@Cleozeta - I think the NHS like FSH to be below 10, but if you’re going private that should be absolutely fine. They will probably insist on an AMH test anyway as it’s a much better indicator of likely IVF outcome 😊

Thanks everybody for all your lovely messages. I’m terrified all over again now - had kind of convinced myself that I don’t have anywhere near enough symptoms for it to be twins - that was a bit of a shock this morning!

Chatbash72 · 31/10/2018 19:28

Fantastic news @CritterTamer
I'm on day 23 in cycle have the most dreadful migraine and feel sick.... an hour of work to go... and then I might crawl into bed... this is very unusual for me... big hugs to everyone xx

sparklyglitterball · 31/10/2018 20:18

Hi ladies, some of you will remember me from this thread..........I'm 42 and conceived my third did following a year of ttc. She was born at home in the birthing pool last Saturday evening following a speedy labour, weighing 9lb 1oz. I declined to be induced on my due date as is recommended for ladies over 40, as I wanted to give her a few more days to arrive spontaneously. She was born one day over her due date. I had a lovely positive birth experience, the best of the three she's absolutely gorgeous! I've tried to follow this thread as I found everyone so lovely and helpful when ttc. It also helped me get some perspective on the days when pregnancy felt exhausting and tough! Huge congrats to those of you who have bfp's, and to those who are waiting sending good luck vibes. Xx

Floofsquidge · 31/10/2018 20:41

Wonderful to hear @sparklyglitterball!
I am finding 1st trimester anxiety overwhelming (my constant fear of a mc/mmc & need for reassurance) so it's lovely to hear of positive outcomes.

Cleozeta · 31/10/2018 21:18

Sparkly - congratulations!! And thank you so much for coming on here to tell us your amazing news, it gives us all so much hope. Enjoy your beautiful new bundle Smile

Chat - fingers crossed for you this cycle

Critter - thank you for your reassurance. I won't be entitled to NHS for many reasons so will be going private. I had planned to book in this week until the chemical happened! In fact I had already sent them an email. That has thrown me now though and not sure what to do.
To be honest I am pleased with the new results, as last time they were FSH 18.4 and LH 5.9, so they have gone down quite a lot.

Chatbash72 · 31/10/2018 21:24

@sparklyglitterball congratulations that is fantastic news... home births are fab have had all but my first at home and fab to know there isn't an age cut off, would love to have another at home xxxxx

weasledee · 31/10/2018 21:57

Congratulations sparkly lovely news. Love a positive story! Enjoy your new arrival :)

littlemimosa · 31/10/2018 21:59

Hi sparkly, I remember you, congrats on your new baby girl. Lovely news. Homebirths are wonderful. Both mine were born at home.

Cleo - glad to hear you’re happy with your results. Amazing how they fluctuate isn’t it. I’ve no idea about treatments I’m afraid.

Day 25 here. Still no ovulation:( really getting worried and missing the hormones. Can really feel a difference without the usual oestrogen. Am v tired and depleted. Sigh.

Rose68 · 31/10/2018 22:18

@Sparklyglitterball - Congratulations, what lovely news! Enjoy your little one.

@Floofsquidge - I am totally with you, for me it’s one day at a time.

@Cleozeta - I thought you might be happy with those results, much better than last time. I’m sure it’s going to happen for you.

PetraRabbit · 31/10/2018 22:26

Oooh Critter, that's exciting. Whenever newly pregnant women speculate about twins it never seems to happen...but not in your case!!! It must feel daunting but a ready made sibling is such a blessing.
Presh- good luck!
Sparkly- thanks for the hopeful story! The fact you took a year but got there in the end is good to hear.
LittleMimosa- sorry you're feeling discouraged. I find it hard to keep positive sonetimes too!

Letsdothis43 · 01/11/2018 01:39

@Critter! I have been thinking of you over the past few day! amazing happy news!

@Cleo Great that your results have come down some!

@Sparklyglitter Great to hear your positive story!

@Littlemimosa sorry to hear about the non ovulation :(

Here things are moving very quickly (or maybe not) my Period is due any day and the IVF Clinic I've chosen have decided to issue me a protocol after all, which I'm ecstatic about just means that my medication needs to get to me in the next few days for me to get started this cycle or it'll end up being January as December due to them closing around the time of EC would be out.

I'm excited, scared and every other emotion, prepared for it to fail trying to have a positive attitude either way but finally feel like something is happening!

CookieWaffle · 01/11/2018 07:17

Ahh Critter I'm so happy for you, that's wonderful news!! xx

Sparkly congratulations on your little girl! Glad everything went well xx

So my faint line became a stark white line 2 days ago. However, no sign of AF and cramping and sore boobs going on. Isn't limbo fun! Will be testing again when amazon delivers!

BooseysMom · 01/11/2018 07:57

Wow Critter! ..2 tiny babies!! So happy for you! Flowers

And lovely to hear from you with your amazing news Sparkly! Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl Flowers you did completely the right thing not being induced. I was 5 days over and nothing was working so had the dreaded induction and it just all went wrong from there. I was 40.

As for me, I'm gonna have to say goodbye girls. It's not happening and I'm giving up after about 3 years ttc. I sent a msg a few days ago and no offense but had no replies and I'm just not getting what I need from this. It's making me crazy obsessed and I just need to face facts and be grateful for our little boy. So Shiny please remove me from the list Sad I'm so sorry to be so low. It's best I move on now.
I wish each and every one of you lots of love and luck. .bye ladies x

Evug1234 · 01/11/2018 09:02

So sorry booseysmom that you are feeling so low..... move on if you really have to but my suggestion would be to just relax and not expecting anything from this TTC journey.... atleast thats what I am doingGrin......if it happens it happens

Cleozeta · 01/11/2018 09:18

Boosey - sorry you feel that way, it can be disheartening at times. And I'm sorry you got no replies. I actually meant to reply but got distracted (easily done with me), I was going to say I got the palpitations thing a fair bit last year but seems to have calmed down lately.
Anyway, I hope you are ok. Maybe 'giving up' is what will make it work for you (I have heard this can happen!)
