Morning Ladies, I had a bad day yesterday, suffering with lower back pain and a tiny bit of spotting. I haven’t really had any pregnancy symptoms yet and I was pretty sure I was losing it.
I’ve just done another CB digital expecting the number of weeks to have gone down to 1-2, but it’s gone up to 3+, it shouldn’t be 3+ until tomorrow at the earliest.
I still have a really bad feeling..... maybe test again in a couple of days and see if it’s gone down to 2-3?

CookieWaffle · 28/10/2018 06:36

Omg I've missed so much, congrats on the BFPs guys! Critter I'm so glad it's worked for you :)

I'm 10 dpo today and have been getting some cramping and achy boobs. Took an early test (I know I shouldn't) and a faint pink line has appeared..... aaaagh!

mellongoose · 28/10/2018 07:35

Gorgeous news @Cleozeta.

There's so much to catch up with!!!!

mellongoose · 28/10/2018 07:36

Eeeek....and to you too @CookieWaffle

This thread is lucky indeed!

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 07:51

Congrats cookie!
Good to hear from you minime, sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment.
Hopefully accupuncture will help you too.

Mimosa - how interesting that he did the needles in your back! I've never had that, I always get them in my tummy, head, arms, legs & toes (the toe ones hurt)
I pay around £80-£90 every 2 weeks for 1 session of accupuncture and 2 weeks of herbs.

Rose - try not to stress (easier said than done I know) but its great that your test came out 3+ so fingers crossed all ok.

As for me, I'm not going to test again now until weds or thurs (If I get that far) as it's just too stressful and I really regret testing yesterday, I've totally spoiled things for myself and caused super stress which I really didn't want, as it changes nothing.
I am still having symptoms currently so will wait it out and enjoy being pregnant even if it doesnt last.

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 08:19

Cookie - Wow, congratulations! So early as well!

Mimosa and Cleo - Before my bfp I also had acupuncture in my tummy, head, arms, legs, ankles and I think toes. Since getting the bfp it’s been in my back, tummy, head, and ankles, so I have to lie on my side, which isn’t that comfy! Definitely no nice relaxing heat lamps for me.

Cleo - sorry that you are so stressed, it is so stressful isn’t it! I wish we could get hold of a crystal ball. Great news that you are having symptoms though! What symptoms do you have?

As for me, I have some constipation and my nipples are slightly sore off and on. I’m pretty sure I should be feeling more than that.

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 08:22

Exciting news @Cookiewaffle! This has been such a lucky thread 😁

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 08:34

Rose - I have random boob throbbing (like stabbing) and soreness, nausea when hungry, and waking early (I love a lie in, and the early waking has happened in all my pregnancies and I can't get back to sleep again! So annoying haha)

I have an accupuncture session booked for Tuesday, I was wondering what I should do about that. Should I still go??

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 08:43

Cleo - yes definitely still go to acupuncture, mine recommended going until 11 or 12 weeks. Maybe you will get the uncomfortable side position too Grin
I am also waking early, and also having difficulty going to sleep at night. But I had put that down to worrying rather than a symptom. x

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 09:40

Oh I look forward to the side position!

It's deffo a symptom for me as I've had some really stressful times but still manage to sleep. If anything, with stress, I'd take ages to go to sleep then struggle to wake up in the morning, but one thing I always get in pregnancy is the early mornings. It's an odd one!

Oh and the tiredness too. I'm nackered.

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 10:14

The insomnia is definitely a symptom - I’ve had it since before I got my BFP - for me I can get to sleep ok but am pretty much done sleeping by 1.30 or 2am. Spend the rest of the night staring at the ceiling - doesn’t help with the tiredness!

Ameliel · 28/10/2018 10:51

Vow congrats @Cleozeta , @CookieWaffle and @Rose68, fingers crossed for all of you! I'm cd10 today, it's so boring just waiting for the ovulation, especially as I have no idea what day that might occur for me. This cycle is the first one for me since coming off the contraception in early September. What cd do you normally ovulate? just wondering if I should start using the opk's already ? What makes it harder is that I can't seem to make head or tail of my Cm (pretty nonexistent)...
I have my third acupuncture session this week, not doing any Tcm but just trying to eat healthily. Have a good new week ladies!

Everhopeful2018 · 28/10/2018 11:15

After reading your comments above about waking early etc I'm begining to feel a little hopeful. I'm 10 dpo and was feeling really glum. Trying to prepare myself for another BFN.

My sister in law just gave birth and it hurt. 😢 so I felt even more like it won't be me. I feel selfish and ungrateful as I have children but all I want is just one more. Don't want to end my baby making days with such an awful memory.

Anyway have really struggled to sleep last 2 nights and wake early ......I never wake early I'm a total night owl!! So now there's a little hope growing.
So excited to see all your BFP. I'm hoping some of this lucky bady dust will come my way. Just a few more days to wait.....

littlemimosa · 28/10/2018 15:25

Oh my gosh so many bfps! Have that fertility specialists who say fertility is over by 40!!! Proving them wrong on here or what.

Congrats Cookie!!

Rose 3+ is great news, try to relax and enjoy being pregnant hun.

Yuck, just had the first drink of the chinese 'yummy tea' you described Cleo. Not looking forward to that twice a day but obviously I'll do anything right about now.

Letsdothis43 · 28/10/2018 16:01

@Cleozeta and @cookiewaffle WOW I am keeping everything crossed for you guys! so so so happy that this thread has BFP's

Going to look into TCM and a clinic in Athens that a lovely poster on the infertility boards told me specialise in low ovarian reserve IVF

So grateful for this boards and all you lovely ladies!

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 16:47

So it's definitely a chemical. The bleeding has started. Very gutted but at least I know I can conceive, I was starting to worry the other one at the beginning of the year was a fluke. Oh well back to the 'yummy tea'.
Also going to start dhea.

Do I need to tell my GP that this has happened or will there be no interest?

Is it worth me still going in for my cd3 blood test tomorrow as bleeding started today? I've heard chemical miscarriages are similar to a period bleed, so ovaries etc would be doing the same thing?

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 16:51

@Ameliel ovulation is usually day 12 or 13 for me. I have been using clear blue ovulation kits, the ones that pinpoint your 2 most fertile days. I started testing on day 12, so some cycles I only needed to use one to identify the LH surge. However, I get ovulation pains so I could be confident I hadn’t missed it. If you are day 10 and are unsure of when ovulation will be, I’d start testing now. Good luck xxx

Rose68 · 28/10/2018 17:01

Oh no Cleo, I’m so sorry. Could you try to rearrange the day 3 blood test to Tuesday? If not I’m sure tomorrow will be fine. xxx

CookieWaffle · 28/10/2018 17:19

Ahh I'm sorry Cleo :( it really sucks. The last 2 I had were mostly a normal period but probably best to mention it to them as it might affect your results. I'm not celebrating just yet, not til I'm totally sure it's going to get past 5 weeks at least. I've had such aching going on today, just like the first one...

CritterTamer · 28/10/2018 18:05

@Cleozeta - oh no, I’m so sorry to read this. Sending hugs your way xxx

Floofsquidge · 28/10/2018 18:38

@Cleozeta so sorry. My chemical in August was the same day I got my first ever positive pg test when I was 2 days late, so elation to agony in just a few hours. The bleed and cramping were the same as a normal period but with clumpy clots, and lasted same amount of time. I then ovulated 2 weeks later in line with my normal ov time, and that's the cycle I got my BFP that so far (10+3 weeks) is going well.

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 19:57

Rose I've got my accupuncture on Tuesday so will probably need to be tomorrow, but I'll tell them the situation.

Cookie - fingers crossed it is different for you this time.

Floof thats great that you managed to conceive straight away the following cycle, so it obviously didn't screw up your hormones. Gives me hope! So pleased for you that things are looking good this time

littlemimosa · 28/10/2018 20:39

Oh Cleo I’m so sorry you’re bleeding. Why is this so hard indeed. Sending a big hug.
I’d go for the blood test anyway.

Floof glad to hear things are going well for you.

Has anyone actually asked what is actually in the yummy tea?? I tried to ask and he murmured something about mushrooms and goji.... any thoughts on what we are guzzling down?

Cleozeta · 28/10/2018 21:19

Thanks mimosa, yep its so bloody hard, yet I bet if we were 16 it would be easy. Mother nature is screwed up. Get with the times lady.

I've not got a clue whats in the tea, but it clearly works, so bring it on.

minime2017 · 28/10/2018 21:26

Floof that was my experience of a chemical too-positive followed by cramping and bleeding within24 hours. So sorry to read your update Cleo. Its so hard to remain upbeat but like youve said earlier you have conceived and hopefully you will be as fortunate as Floof next cycle.
Im cd 3 here and have had weird flow, in that its barely touched the pads (tmi apologises) Im now fearing perimenopause as its lighter, fewer cramps and moods ok. A dream of an af but a worry too. Ive put on some (a lot) of weight in recent months which could be the cause too I guess. Need to sort my life out and regain focus.
