TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up!

I'm good, dtd three days before ovulation and three days after but that's as close as we got this month. So not trying and definitely missing that very short window! will let you know if I ever have any news! Lol

@LatteLover12 I love a symptom spot! What DPO are you? Any symptoms so far?
@Bloodylegoeverywhere well, you never know! 3 days after was prob too late but 3 days before could clinch it.
Been feeling absolutely exhausted! I really miss feeling energised. But apart from that, all ok. Some nausea but nothing horrendous. The first trimester just goes soooo sloow

Symptoms so far are not v conclusive. Tired/sore boobs/some cramping.

I think I’m only 7dpo though so still time yet!

What were your first symptoms @MakeaWhish?

I had sore boobs straight after ov which continued and I've still got em! Also had pulling pains in my abdomen. These were the only physical symptoms I had before my BFP (at 10dpo) After BFP some light cramping, veins showing in boobs, sore boobs... nausea etc didn't kick in til about week 6 xxx

@LatteLover12 the cramping is a good sign as this was unusual for me as I never really got period cramps ...

It would be amazing if this was the month.

I feel full if that makes sense? That’s probably the excessive Christmas I’ve just had though! 😂

Not testing till 10dpo at the earliest so will check back in ☺️

I have thrush.... Not had that for 5 years (the two months before and the month I fell pregnant with ds2) and my boobs don't hurt....yet.
I'm 6dpo today perhaps.....

BFN this morning ladies. Am either 9 or 10dpo so I’m probably out for this month.

I think it’s only the second month DP and I have been in the same county at the right time so trying not to worry.

It's not over till af turns up @lattelover12. Thought you were a day ahead of me and I thought I'm only 8dpo!? So could be very early still to test.

Yes ok cheers, thrush has cleared up but done badly this week. Taken a canesten pill and had a 360 dental xray

I caved and ordered some ic off eBay.

Nada, I'm due wed! Odd thing is no sore boobs at all. Is that due to the vitamins or a non ovulation cycle.
Oh well....

@Bloodylegoeverywhere those internet cheapies didn't give me a BFP until a few days after my period was due! They're not as sensitive as they say.
@LatteLover12 on to the next month! Have you tried conceive plus lubricant? Seemed to work for us but could have been a fluke.
I'm good thanks, 12 week scan is a week today and I'm so scared there'll be something wrong 😬 I'm sure it's ok but we always worry don't we xx

Think it's just ink as the line seems too far over. my other ic came in the post so had to pee again these are a different make.
Will get a proper stick if my period doesn't come on wed.

Common with one step tests unfortunately. This is for 3 mins with fmu

I got a different make and it was a negative!

It's fine, due today but that's only 27 days so tmrw is still a possibility. BFN today too, it wasn't fmu but would assume I'd get a smidge of a line at this many days post ovulation.

Not here yet but this is yesterday I think...

Period has been and gone so onwards and upwards!

DP is now at home for the foreseeable future so fingers crossed. That’s got to help, right?! 😂
