TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up!

I’m 39 and have 4 older children, my youngest is 14. I had the marina coil for over 10 years, after deciding we didn’t want anymore babies, my biological clock is ticking and we desperately want another baby. We’ve been actively trying for 8 months now, (all my previous pregnancies I didn’t have any issue conceiving luckily)
I’m using ovulation tests and tracking my temp. Is there anyone who has any advice? I know 8 months is not a long time when ttc but I’m stressing myself out every month because I’m getting older now

@Katec2018 Shall I list what we did this month to conceive? I pretty much threw everything at it.
First, I took an Angus castus tablrt every morning for the first 14 days of my cycle (supposed to regulate cycles and extend luteal phase)
Took opks every day twice a day from cd14 (I usually ovulate around day 19-22) On the week I knew I would be entering my fertile period, we used Conceive plus gel when bd'ing on Monday night, skipped Tuesday, positive opk weds so bd'd with conceive plus weds and Thursday. Skipped Friday although we had planned to bd the opportunity didn't present itself!
Also, after the 3 bd's that week, I stayed lying down for about 30 minutes to give the swimmers a chance.
Who knows if any of that worked, but it's all worth a try!

Here is my chart (half an hour late today hence the open circle) I think it looks triphasic but IC says BFN.

What do you think @makeawhish @bloodylegoeverywhere ?

I’m wondering if the crosshairs are wrong & I'm only 10dpo today?

No doubt AF will show but keeping fingers crossed till it does.

It does look trisphaic, but you never know as they can do that and not be pregnant unfortunately. I had one but yours does look good. Give it a few more days. Fingers crossed!

@LatteLover12 that def looks triphasic , get an FRER! I had bfn's on IC's until about 13dpo 🤞
I'm ok! 6 weeks tomorrow and have an early scan booked next Sunday. Can't wait xx how is everyone else? X

Temps still high at 36.60 and no sign of AF.

Have bought a FR just in case there’s no temperature drop tomorrow.

Still feel a bit sick but not getting my hopes up as I’ve got no other symptoms at all.

I didn’t test this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed for another high temp tomorrow.

The mixed colours are my 3 cycles compared. This cycle is the light blue. 🤞🏻

Well temps dropped a little this morning but I was more or less awake all night with a grumpy 6 year old so I’m not sure how reliable that is & I haven’t tested.

I think AF will probably come on Wednesday but I’m not out till AF arrives so fingers crossed!

@LatteLover12 I have everything crossed. Hope your little one has a more settled night tonight. My 9 year old has had me up since 5am with a nightmare - she's hideously tired and emotional tonight as a consequence - god help me!

Hi ladies AF arrived this morning so I’m out for another month.

I’m not too disappointed as the next few months of trying will be with DP at home!! So excited 😀😃😃
I also quite like the idea of an autumn term baby so fingers crossed for the next few cycles!

Also, unlimited fizz at Christmas!!

Ah @LatteLover12 only just seen this. How lovely that this month you get to spend loads of time with your DP! And you don't have to avoid the boozy Christmas do's like me 😬 A January BFP would cheer up a dreary month wouldn't it xx

Hi!! i think i kind of need to introduce myself...im 38...starting TTC...my kids are 17 and 11 now....A bit lost if you ask me...how is everyone doing? also got something bugging me ref genetics due to me being 38 and DH 58....anyone on the same boat?? x

@Bloodylegoeverywhere All good thanks lovely. Measuring nearer to 6 weeks than 7 but I expected that as I have long cycles. Saw a good strong heartbeat, so mind was put at rest! Xx
