TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up!

Af turned here,but did manage to lengthen my cycle to 28 days.
Oh have you looked at pre seed/convieve plus!?

Hi everyone, can I join you? I will be 40 next month, TTC #3, on 1st cycle. I’m currently about 7dpo (I think). We have two girls, 7 and 3. I’m feeling madly sure that I’m pg already, even though my second DD took a lot of trying (and a couple of MCs). pretty sure I felt the same every cycle of previous tries! Good luck to all 😊

Hi all, how is everyone? AF arrived for me on 14dpo - was disappointed but have pulled myself together again now! Let's see what happens this month. At least I had a decent luteal phase this month.

Am loving half term, we're all chilling out today playing computer games, colouring, watching tv. DP bought kfc home for lunch - such a lazy day! Making the most of it. Hope you're all well xx

I think I’m heading towards ov again (finally!) was expecting it tomorrow but cm and opk so no. DP back on Friday so hopefully it will work out ok. Currently cd20 & super bored of waiting!

I had my 4th at 41...took a year (natural though - the other 3 were clomid babies) but all happy & healthy 😊

@LatteLover12 I ov'd on day 23 last month so I feel your pain! I'm on CD5 and already bored of waiting 

Well DP has buggered off again & I got my temp spike this morning so I am rather unexpectedly in my 2ww!

Hi everyone I'm in a similar situation to some of you. Im 39 and have a 10 and a 12 year old from previous marriage and now ttc with my partner who hasn't got children. I'm on my 3rd Month of trying so hoping November will be my lucky Month. It's certainly going to be strange going back to a baby after 10 years

Hi all! We need a roll call! Who's still here and at what stage are you at?
CD15 here. Last month I ov'd cd22 but have just started with EWCM so am hoping I'll ov a little earlier this month. Mind you, if I fall pregnant this cycle it does interfere with our summer holiday... hmm, sometimes you've just got to go with it! Hope all are well xx

Hi @Cazamelia ! CD stands for cycle day. So cd1 is the first day of your period (also called AF which is short for Aunt Flo) once you've ovulated, you count up, so the day after you would be 1DPO (days past ovulation) Hope that makes sense!

TMI warning: it was just brown when I wiped but now it’s a little more red & I could feel it iyswim. It can’t be AF if I believe my OPKs and temps were accurate.

@LatteLover12 ah well, at least work will take your mind of it a bit. If you're anything like me, it's all you can think about at certain stages of your cycle. I feel like I've waited forever for ovulation, and still have a few days to wait. But it's nearly here! Yay!

Yes that’s true. I feel like each cycle is endless when I have to wait 20-23 days for one little egg!

I’d been so good at not symptom spotting and now I’ll be crazy for the next week!
